~Time Skip~ Waking up slowly, Kaya was first aware of how warm and comfortable she was. Second was the strange feeling of cloth against her fur. Pulling her paws under her, she stretched and yawned, before turning to look at her cave mate. Smiling, Kaya snuggled back into Tanto, trying not to wake the other fox.

Tanto was way off in dreamland fighting this and that when she felt something moves beside her. What was that? she thought. It felt like fur and cloth. Her ears began to twitch as she could hear the sound of birds chirping off in the distance. She didn't feel a threat near by so she finally opened her eyes and there beside her was that strange looking vixen from the day before. "hmm," she said softly.

Kaya blinked at Tanto as she watched the ninja fox wake up. "Good morning." Kaya said softly, not wanting to mar the morning with too loud of talking. "Look how much it snowed last night."
There was snow covering half of the cave entrance. The vixens would be able to get out, but Kaya was glad they hadn't been forced to stay out in that weather.

"Mornin" Tanto said with a yawn as she stretched getting the kinks out of her body before sitting up and looking at the entrance. "Yes that is quite a bit isn't it," Tanto mused gazing out at it.
She stood up and started digging at the snow entrance so that Kaya and her would have an easier time getting out.

Kaya pawed at the snow too, trying to hlep Tanto dig them out. Seeing the opening to her satisfaction, and since the cave was starting to get quite warm with the trapped body heat and exercise, Kaya wiggled out of the borrowed shorts and held them out to Tanto.
"Thanks for letting me use them last night." She said, smiling at the nin-fox.

Tanto pushed em back to Kaya. "You can keep them. From what you said yesterday you might get lost in the snow and need them again." Tanto told her teasingly before she went back to digging.

Kaya paused at that comment. Get lost again? Kaya didn't think Tanto would just let her get lost.... Did that mean Tanto was going to be leaving? That thought made the cat-fox feel rather sad. Kaya had thought...but of course that was silly. They had only just met last night.
"I...I don't know, Tanto. If I get lost again, then I definitely shouldn't take your clothes with me." She said in a small voice.

Tanto had just finished clearing the entrance enough for them both to slip out easily when she turned back to look at Kaya. The cat vixen seemed sad. A frown crossed Tanto's face wondering what could be making her so sad.
"Well I'll of course get you out of this place and lead you back to somewhere warm. And wouldn't it be better if you so happen by chance to get lost to have them in case you find yourself in another accident like this?"

Kaya shook her head almost violently and looked up at Tanto with big pleading eyes. "Please don't let me get lost again." She whispered. She was tired of wandering around all the time and getting lost. She'd stay in this cave and never leave it if she had to.

Tanto arched an eyebrow, " I have no control over what you do so how am I suppose to make sure you dont get lost? If you have an idea I'll gladly hear it but I'm not seeing how I'm to not let you get lost," She felt bad saying that but it was true she didn't see how she could make sure the vixen didnt get lost.

Kaya's ears drooped and she nudged the shorts back towards Tanto. Keeping her eyes trained on the ground, Kaya tried to think of what to say. She wanted to ask the other female to stay with her, but she didn't want to impose either. "I don't...I don't know." Kaya finally said, wrapping her tail around her paws.

"Kaya keep the shorts I have more I'll be fine. Think em as a gift for making new friends,"Tanto told her kindly pushing the shorts back to her. This cat-fox was as stubborn as Tanto her self. They weren't going to make much progress if they kept up like this. Sighing she said" Here you keep the shorts and you can come with me to my normal home ok?"

Kaya was silent for a little while, staring at the shorts without really seeing them. Slowly she lifted a paw and placed them on the clothes, but didn't pick them up. "Do you really want me to follow you? To take me home? What happens when I see another butterfly and chase it? Or a bird, a leaf, a dandelion seed?" She asked, ears still dropping. "Cause I will, I'll get lost again. What are you going to do? Track me down each and every time? Wont that get on your nerves?"

Tanto glanced back at Kaya noticing how quite she had become. Standing there on the mound of snow she watched the other fox untill she began to speak. "I wouldn't have offered for you to come home with me if I didn't really mean it."she pointed out. "If you see something I'll call to you and hopefully pull you out of your daze. If that doesnt work I can track you down. I am a ninja you know. Or the final thing I could tie something to both of us than you cant get very far from me."

"I didn't say you couldn't, Tanto. I was wondering if you would each time." Kaya tried to make sure Tanto knew the difference between the two because that was very important to Kaya. The black catfox smiled at the ninja. "I don't think you tying something to the both of us would be very fun. One of us would jump after something and we'd both fall to the ground." She giggled at the mental image she had conjured.
