She giggled as Pele debated on eating or breathing, she was such a character! Sengdroma watched as Pele finished and got that drowsy look in her eyes. It was nap time, Sengdroma loved nap time with her little ones.
She lowered her body to the ground, looking over to Pele, "Come on sweet heart, let's rest now," she waited for Pele to join her. She would use this time to clean Pele's face and body, carassing her until the left to dream. She enjoyed the snuggle time she got with the little ones. It would be all too soon that Pele would be grown and gone, just as the ones before her. But for now, Sengdroma would enjoy every moment she could.

Maion smiled down, only barely resisting the urge to laugh at the mess his daughter had created from the mass of berries.
Still... he was happy. As Sengdroma sat and asked for Pele to join her he debated sitting with them or going to scout the area and check on his protectors. Deciding he wanted the best of both worlds he settled down near Sengdroma and rested his head just above her shoulder. He nuzzled his mate softly and simply enjoyed being close to her.... her warmth was enough to keep him smiling for days.

Pele blinked once and took a wobbling step. She blinked again and almost didn't open her eyes again. A couple more steps and she was next to her parents. She started to lay down when she found her legs didn't quite know what to do for that, and ended up thumping with a bit more force than intended.
Another long, slow blink. Pele reached her nose out to her Mama's and softly blew a greeting.
As her mother began to groom her, Pele's eyes closed again. The rhythm of cleaning, the warmth of sun and the happiness of being loved overcame the little foal. Pele slowly sank into sleep. It had been and exciting day.Spike slowly headed down to the water for his bath and lunch. He smiled back at his family, happy they were together.Fin!
