Major Devastation's inverted atomic drop connected, and bought him some breathing room, which is always a plus in a situation like this. While he had Wayne on the retreat, the Marine would try to take the lunatic's head off with a big lariat.

After Wayne hit the mat from the lariat, Major Devastation would try to guide him back to his feet in order to attempt to Irish Whip the nutcase over the top rope.

"SON OF A b***h!!!" the big Texan shouted as his eyes once again became the target of Crazy Wayne's assault. He would clamp his eyes shut and use his free hand to try to throw a wild haymaker at what, by his reckoning, should be the madman's jaw level before trying to backpedal - whether the punch landed or not - and put some distance between the two.

Just after Major Devastation's punch caught nothing but air, he felt his opponent trying to apply a Full Nelson. With his shoulder in its current state, the Marine wasn't sure if he'd be able to break the hold if it were to be locked in...but he had an idea. He would try to reach behind and grab the back of Wayne's head, and if successful would drop down and attempt to catch the lunatic with a stunner.

Before the Marine could get a proper grip on the back of Wayne's head, he ended up getting tossed overhead and landed awkwardly on his neck and shoulders.

The Devil Dog had just rolled over to start getting back up when he heard maniacal laughter and something about an "Amish Jew" - which made about as much sense as any of the whack job's other outbursts - before feeling a tremendous pressure trying to crush his skull.

He began to grit his teeth and tried to muffle the sound of his pained scream as he tried to push himself up off of the canvas, which would hopefully unbalance his deranged opponent and get him to fall on his face.

The loud thud, and subsequent dissipation of the pressure on his head told Major Devastation that his plan worked. His eyes were still stinging, his shoulder was still sore (but fully functional again), and now his head was throbbing considerably, although right now he could care less. His opponent was a menace, and showed absolutely no regard for the safety of others; he had already blatantly attacked a noncombatant, and just tried to crush the Marine's skull...this guy had to be brought down as soon as possible.

The Master of Disaster would do his best to ignore his throbbing headache and get back to his feet as quickly as he could before making his way over to where Wayne lay and trying to apply a rear naked choke in hopes of putting him away quickly.
