Sosiqui Malodore sighed and knelt next to the fallen siren, feeling vaguely responsible. "You aren't going to die," it explained, patiently. "Unless something that lives here eats you. Which it might. Have you had a look around? It's horribly festive, and not the good kind of horrible, either. Can you feel the..." It shuddered. "... JOY?"  "Heeeeeey maaaaaaaan. Whu... whuddya meeeean parts'll fall offa yas huuuuuh? Hyuk hyuk!" Malodore shouldn't turn around. There was a tree that seemed to sway back and forth in an invisible wind. It offered a drunken wave to Israfel, before hiccuping and nearly tripping over Luce. HP: 5

Israfel haddent noticed the JOY really. Not by much. But he had noticed something else. There was a tree. And it was wobbling? And talking? And-
"AH SUP MANNNN" One drunk wave deserved another, as Israfel wondered if the tree had some cider stashed away somewhere.

Riley looked up at the dragon, and nodded her head. I think so, she responded to West, before her eyes fell on the stumbling Israfel. She only understood maybe.. four out of all the words he had said, but they were the last four, and she got the jist of his question. In his mind, she responded with a quick No teachers right now, and then resolved to let him be when Maladore seemed to have things under control. She felt a little sick at the mere idea of JOY, but didn't show it - until one of the trees decided to show her exactly what kind of nonsense all of this JOY had in store for them. Oh, good. A talking tree. A drunken, talking, tree. Looming over Maladore, swaying dangerously. She couldn't shoot it, because of it's proximity to her newest find - but man, did she want to.
Stop talking to it, she hissed into Israfel's head. Just back away.

Now... he was starting to wonder about this trip. He had trudged along with the others, looking at the odd, drunk Siren and the bird creature who was speaking to him. It was only at that mention of JOY, that he really decided to take a look around. He had already noted the cold and the white fluff around but... maybe it was because of his headache... migraine... that he hadn't noticed it before. The disgusting cheer and... good intentions. Nasty. Enough to make him long to search the Siren for hidden booze to take for himself!
Tree... was it talking? Are you serious? His brows jacked up so high, they tried to disappear into his bi-colored hair. Why was it swaying... and... it was drunk?! Ah Jack-damn it all, did the Siren transfer some of his drunker aura to a tree? Or was everything in this world creepy and stomach churning? And of course the Siren would wave to it. "I doubt it wants to be friends..." Can someone please kill it? Set it on fire... oh wait, can't do that. Urgh -_-.

Was that all the rustling was? A drunk tree?
Corbin's blue eyes narrowed critically, scrutinizing the swaying and intoxicated flora. The JOY it was exuding was definitely felt by the Wraith, his fingers flexing anxiously. It wasn't attacking, though... just teetering around like a bobble head. Was this what they were talking about getting attacked by? Was this a dangerous creature? If it was, it definitely didn't seem like it and to say he felt confused was the understatement of the day.
Well, this was strange. "...Is it dangerous?" he asked the nearest person, eyes locked on the tree. No, no it couldn't be dangerous it was just a useless, drunk piece of nature. Were there trees in Halloween that were animated like this? If so, they probably played pranks like tripping people up or stealing their hats, not becoming merry drunks.
"Should we just go ahead?" That seemed like the best option to the Crow, in all honesty. Just pretend the tree wasn't there, move along and do what they were supposed to do, no matter how much he disagreed with that, as well.

Upon hearing some kind of disturbance in the group behind him, the dragon turned around to see what the jack was going on ... and saw ...
Whoa, wait now a talking tree? Aksaja stared at the thing for a moment, looking from it to Israfel, then back again. Then he laughed, "Hey look, I think the tree found whatever alcohol was on the train!" Maybe it had spilled out and gotten on the thing's roots or something. This ... was going to be entertaining. Finding another tree to lean against so he could watch (after making sure it wasn't moving or anything), the dragon folded arms over his chest with a little smirk.

Unfortunately, a scraggly branch did gnarl at his pants and tore the fabric, as well as giving him a slight gash. The pain was slight but jarring to the Wraith and there bubbled his need for situational revenge. Turning around, he landed with a thud and ran over to the tree, reaching out in an attempt to grab and snap one of the branches that so desperately wanted to hold him tight and snuggly.
The tree was quick, though, and the attempt missed.

Braum had arrived late to the party, it seemed, and while he immediately wanted to kick both the trees arses, he held back, knowing there were others fighting them at the moment. Instead, his eyes zeroed in on a particularly drunk Siren with mild annoyance. Of course the idiot would come out of a crash like that completely unscathed. Lucky little b*****d.
Picking out the last few remnants of glass from his wings, he came up beside the idiot Siren, tearing more of the bottom of his coat to make bandages, and wrap them around the shoulderjoints of his wings, covering up the cuts. Just that small shelter from the cold on them was enough to make them feel a bit better. And since he felt better, he could do things like THIS.
"Stop acting like an idiot, fledgling!" he growled, whapping Israfel upside the head with one of his wings again. Crossing his arms, he waited for the others to finish. There were already two of them milling about the group, he didn't want all of them to be suddenly ambushed by a whole FORESTS worth of stupid trees. And he certainly wasn't of the opinion of leaving part of the group behind.

Night coughed and rolled over on his side as the impact of the train radiated through his body. Gah he hurt all over right now. His ears twitched as he tried to listen for anybody else as he pushed himself off the ground. As far as he knew it was quiet as he looked around his surroundings. A Forest...Well hell, Night cracked his bones before wandering in alone. Its not like he couldn't handle not being around people for a bit right?
He really hoped he met someone in here soon.
"Hello?" Night called out.

Well, if that was how the tree wanted it.
Letting out a quiet growl, Corbin's wings flapped and caused a gust of wind and a blanket of snow to rise into the air behind him. His hands grabbed one of the branches roughly and his boot came down roughly, severing part of the branch from the tree. If the tree still thought it was a game after this, he was grossly mistaken.

Hmph. Cool. West started forward, intending to ask Jericho what he thought of this whole mess, when the suspicious motion he'd seen out of the corner of his eye resolved itself. A couple of trees approached the group, bestowing their attentions on a pair of his train-mates. And that bird kid was back. Glancing at Braum's wings, West was pleased to see that at least he wasn't the only one that had been injured in the crash.
Turning his attention back to Malodore and Corbin, West bellowed, "KICKTHEIRASSES!" He might have offered his assistance, but how much damage could a drunk tree and a huggy tree really do? He decided to stand back and watch instead.
