Sin crouched and laughed a little at Junko's dismay and then looked up with a mild frown. "Don't worry about the kimono it didn't tear, I'll have someone get it once we get out of here. I figured it was better to change into something I wouldn't mind having battle ravaged. This is just my workout clothes anyway so don't worry, besides your armed, you can help us if we get attacked, but not if you keep tripping or your legs go numb."
She took Junko's foot and winced at how icy it felt, she rubbed her hands together a moment and then pressed them to the sole of the monster ghouls foot hoping to infuse some warmth. Then she carefully wrapped Junkos left then right foot and finished at her ankles with a floppy bow. "There, not exactly high fashion, but it'll do yeah?" She smiled and stood giving her back a little arch. "Come on don't wanna fall behind!"

Quarria couldn't help but swell on the inside as her friend recognized her. Even in this, her true form. She smiled (Which somehow still looked like a smile, even in her dragon-serpent form. And not even a scary smile.) and her frill of feathers rose a bit like an excited bird. "I'm sorry if I worried you. I guess I got a bit more launched then most, which I blame on my lighter bone weight. I caught the tail end of the gnome's speech, so I hurried over here as fast as I could, after grabbing a bell (Can't use anything else really). Glided a bit, since I wanted to stay under the tree level." She fluffed her wings for a moment, trying to generate a bit of warmth.
"Winston." She rolled the name around on her tongue (Fun fact: Amphithere tongues can be up to six feet long.) as he said it and then grinned lightly. "I like it. Winston. It suits you. And of course I forgive you. It's not your fault the train threw us apart." Her tone was sincere as she spoke to her ghostly-dog friend named Winston. She noticed his accent had become thicker, and found that she still liked listening to it as he spoke, AND she could still understand him. "I'm sorry that we lost your tea before I could heat it for you. Oh hey, do you know which path we're going to take?" She asked Winston (as he'd been here longer then she had), looking around at the others, noticing one girl had seemed to have lost her shoes. That had to be absolutely freezing for her, as it was very cold for the Amphithere, (she really needed a heater soon, but for now her wing feathers would do) even against her's scaly frontal plating.
Almost of instinct, Quarria's long tail flicked over to the shoeless (and now cloth-footed) girl (Junko). "If you need to, you can catch a ride on my tail. The bare snow, even through cloth, must be cold." She called in their direction as the end of the tail crunched into the snow by the two (as there was a demoness (Sin) with the other one.). Her tail had at least a circumference of three feet where the girls were by, and that was one of the thinner places. A few feet up from there as it progressed toward the main body of the dragon, the tail thickened even more. It would be easy for someone to sit on it, sidesaddle if needed. (She could raise the end, so they wouldn't have to worry about smacking into the ground or anything, too.)
(Last paragraph directed at Junko and Sin.)

Alcie shrugged off Gabrian's words knowing that they were all just stressed. Though, maybe joking around wasn't the right thing to do considering their current predicament.
As they continued walking, she was beginning to dislike snow too. Water was so much easier to deal with... "Yeah, Gabrian. We'll make sure you're well enough so you can attend our party." Smiling slightly at the Nix, Alcyone stopped a second as she heard Junko apologizing. "No need to say sorry. We should have waited." Looking down, Alcie also noticed that Junko was just in her stockings. Well that wouldn't do. Hearing Sin's suggestion, Alcie nodded and ripped several pieces of her skirt and handed them to Junko so that she could wrap them around her feet. "Sure! It's already ruined so it might as well go to good use."
The water demon hoped that it would be enough for Junko to keep going because it didn't seem like there was a bare patch of ground anywhere. Now that her skirt was considerably colder, the cold air was starting to get to her. Even though she didn't mind lower temperatures, she definitely preferred above freezing temperatures.

Sin looked at Quarria's tail surprised then looked at Junko uncertainly. "Maybe you should for a little while? At least until we find a less snowy area?" Then again it was up to Junko if she wanted to take the ride. Sin smiled at Quarria though grateful for the offer.
"I'll be fine for a while, if I don't keep moving myself I'm liable to freeze." She looked over at Alcie who sadly had the same breezy type of outfit on. "If we stick together and keep moving we should manage to keep at a fair temperature." If they put up their tents later tonight and snuggled they might actually manage some warmth.
Well whatever they were doing they had best keep moving before anything could catch them off guard. Though so far the little walk had been rather uneventful.

This was pathetic. Not even five minutes into their trek, and already Ren was sneezing up the wazoo. He swiped a hand over his reddened nose, feeling the cold bite at his tail, which he wrapped around his leg to keep from dragging. The bags he was toting were also somewhat hefty, which slowed him down considerably. Not only that, but he kept shifting violently, phasing in and out of his gryphon form every five minutes, it seemed.
"Jackdammit," he muttered in irritation as he bent down - yet again - to pick up the bags that he had dropped - yet again - from changing. "This has got to be the stupidest trip I've ever been on. Just barely enrolled in the school and already I'm out here freezing my Jackdamn a** off. Pathetic."
All he wanted to do was sleep. But there wasn't even anywhere to lie down and nap. How inconvenient .

That wasn't quite what Junko meant, it was the fact that Sin was tearing the skirt she was wearing already that she was getting upset. It was very good to hear that the kimono she had made for Sin was okay though. Very good indeed. She sighed and relented, gasping again as even Alcie tore at her skirt. But they...they needed them too! She felt awful now making them do this. Did she still have her emergency sewing supplies on her? She hoped she did. First chance she got she was totally repairing their skirts! Junko lifted her foot for Sin as she took hold of it, blinking and holding out her arms at her sides to keep herself balanced until Sin suddenly started to touch them with slightly warmer hands. Haha! Hahaha! Th-that tickled! Hehe! She giggled helplessly and wobbled on her one foot, trying really hard not to fall over. It tickled! And it felt funny to have something warm suddenly against her icy cold feet!
When Sin was done Junko looked down at her friend's handiwork and wiggled her toes a bit. "I hope so? I don't see why not. Thank you Sin, Alcie, you really didn't have to." Junko gave each of them a small bow of gratitude as she thanked them, looking up when someone's tail was suddenly near them. Hmmm? Oh! This was for her? But...but she had these makeshift shoes now she didn't want to weigh her down!
"Junkoooooooo." She started, sounding more frustrated by the second. Luckily Sin gave her input first and Junko sighed with relief.
"Yes, thank you very much! I'll keep your offer in mind, but I should probably work the circulation back into my feet." Junko hopped a bit on her toes. "Sin's right though, we should all stay close together. Work as a team, right?" Junko heard a series of sneezes and someone muttering angrily shortly after that, turning to spot the poor ever-changing gryphon. "Are you alright?"

Draven was still looking at the snow, almost wanting taste it as Alerick had, when suddenly he felt it. That pressure deep inside, warning him of what was coming. ‘This is just wrong,’ he thought. He should be able to make the change. Having been humanoid would be much easier, and in this moment he knew he hadn’t even thought of changing. Why in Jack’s name was this happening?
He dropped his pack. Where Draven had been standing a moment before was still Draven, only now in his raven form. With a hop he landed on top of his pack. “This has got to be the most inconvenient thing there is,” he muttered. His pack was light enough he would be able to carry it short distances; he was larger than a normal raven, and that helped. Of course, if he chose to leave it he could have traveled much faster...but he didn't want to fly too high anyway. Especially if he couldn’t control his form changes. The pack might be useful, anyway. Oh, well. What was it he had once heard? Water off a duck’s back? He hated ducks, and this probably the wrong situation for such a phrase…but yeah. You have to roll with the punches, so to speak.
He cocked his head, looking at Alerick with one eye. “Well,” his voice was surprising clear, though a bit scratchy, “shall we press on?”
((bit of a continuation of my previous post...wanted to slip in a form change))

Still clinging to Lizzy, Amrita followed her fellow students and car companions into the Festive Forrest, wrinkling her nose at what she saw. The cold didn't bother her; her dorm room was well below freezing to help her body not decompose; though she had to admit that this WAS a good thing, the cold; with everyone's pins and apparent natural abilities not working properly, she had to wonder if her natural talent to halt the decay of her possessed body was still working. Hopefully it was, it would be a shame for the body to decompose any more than it already had! What did bother her was the snow. She'd never felt or experienced it before, and it was like trudging through lighter mud. So weeeeeird.
"Are you okay, Lizzy?" She asked her friend, worried that the girl might be cold. Apparently the other Demons and that one Monster girl were all cold, so perhaps Lizzy was too? She stared up for a moment at her friend, then turned to look around for Christof and Johan, hoping that they too were still okay. She didn't see gnomes carting them off, as they had been for others...

"Yea, the crash was pretty rough, glad to see you doing good too." Basil eyes grew in shock at the sight of Jamais' wings, but quickly returned to normal."Have those always been there?" she pointed to the wings. After realizing what a dumb question that was Basil chuckled trying to sound like she was kidding.
"Eh, if there was no danger it would be less fun, so doom and fun should go hand in hand." The reaper huffed as she readjusted the tent on her shoulders. "So I guess he is optimistic...In a way"
Basil turned around and started walking backward next to her companion, looking for the two students she had been with before. With a delighted gasp she saw LW and started waving her free arm."LW! Over here!" she yelled in hope the monster would hear her. "Gosh, she looks cold." and where is Kilometer? Basil glanced around again.
She found it odd that she was able to walk so easily, guess the boots helped. Basil turned her head to Jamie "How about we make our party a little bigger?" Basil had a grin almost the whole time, sure she shouldn't be so happy in the current situation, but it was hard to help now that she was on her first adventure.

Kilometer had no choice but to follow the foot prints of those who started the pathway forward. He was not that far behind everybody. With the foot prints and the group in view he knew he wouldn't get lost. He was beginning to regret not toppling out of the train closer to where everyone was gathered. Maybe he would have understood why they were carrying decorations or why he was suddenly a small, now freezing, cat. Or even more importantly where they were going. He had no intention on being left behind. This is becoming an great inconvenience. Kilometer let out an agitated groan and hiss.
Hopping he'd catch up to a familiar face soon he noticed a tree that seemed to be hitting on that one of the, he assumed, really popular students from the car. Wait.. a tree? Was that a tree he saw? A tree was...? He shook his head. Best just to catch up to everyone and ignore it. That was his first plan of action.
The poor cat started to shiver. He wished he was equipped with a proper fur coat to keep him warm.. Despite being an undead zombie cat he still felt the cold. His fur was hardly one to keep warmth. Adding to the cold his exposed and skeleton appendages were NOT helping him any. The coldness only entered the openings in his side and head, making him cold from the inside out. The only warmth he could get was from the breathing inside his gas mask.
At this point this trip could not get any worse. He was just thankful these lights he was now tangled in were not on or blinking.

Sin jumped and then froze for a moment as the wobbling tree approached her. Sin had taken flirtations from a lot of boils in her life but this? This was simply intolerable! She ducked as it came towards her and rolled back gasping as she landed on her bum in the icy snow. She kicked out hoping her heels would shave some wood off the tree.
She had dropped her bells though and swore as soon as she could she would tie them securely to her wrist. She flipped her hair back and tried to make sure Alcie and Junko were at least out of harms way. Well the bigger they were the harder they fell and this fir tree was the biggest bit of wood she had ever laid eyes on, and so full of JOY.

"Eh they have, I just used the pin to hide them. They get in the way." Her tail flickered. "It must've fallen off in the crash." She frowned.
She hummed, "I agree. Danger is part of an adventure, only, it'd be nice if there was less of a threat of being hurt."
She paused "Larger party sounds good to me." She grinned looking over her shoulder at who Basil was waving over.

Whipping out a long scarf from her bag, the Demoness looked rather pleased to be able to use an accessory that she had always wanted to use but never got the chance to in class. As she followed the gnome together with the students from her train cabin, Lizzy made sure to stick close to Amrita, not wishing to separate from her again anytime soon.
When they were asked to go, Lizzy held Amrita's hand tight as she shivered; walking beside the ghoul comforted her somewhat, like its better since they have each other - still, she was rather excited to be in somewhere outside of Halloween! And they were going to raid Sandy Claw's place too... The thought brought a smile to her face as she turned to her friend, giving her a reassuring nod, "I'm fine... Its cold, but I never leave without some extra clothing so at least my neck is warm for now! And you? Are you alright?" As an afterthought, Lizzy added, "Though I do worry for Christof and Johan..."
She then paused, but chuckled a moment later, determined to lighten the mood, "Besides, if something does come attacking, it'll warm me up and I'm ready for it!" She held up the tangled Christmas lights; shame... They almost look too shiny and pretty to be used. Almost.
