“ I don’t think that it’s the same for everyone, but I was being attacked by a youma – a monster created by the bad guys – when it happened to me.”
Those words had barely left Pomona’s mouth when she realized that perhaps they weren’t the best thing to say. She didn’t want to accidentally encourage a civilian to go looking for trouble, so she hastily added,“ But I strongly suggest you run if you ever see a youma.”
Seeming to realize something, Pomona pushed off the wall and glanced up at the dark sky. It was getting late, and sadly having superpowers did not mean being free from a curfew.
“ Do you know what time it is? I think I need to leave.”

Castille looked down as she pulled out her cell phone. "It's almost 9." She said absently, checking to see if she had any new messages. There was one from her sister, asking where the tv remote was, and another from Annie saying she wanted to get cocoa sometime..
"Oh!" She said suddenly, turning away from Pamona and taking a few steps out of the alley. She gazed down at the sideways cup and the brown half melted snow surrounding it. "Ah damn." She muttered, picking up the sticky, wet cup. "I only got halfway through that!" She thought about the Horsey Bad Girl, and then immediately decided she would come up with a better name for her.
She went back to Pepper Girl after throwing away the cup. "Well, thanks for saving me." She said, "I suppose you asking for the time means you have to leave?"

“ Yeah, places to go, things to do.” Pomona waved her hand vaguely, as if to indicate something more impressive then a personal need to avoid another round of the Spanish Inquisition at home.
“ Glad to be of service, but I hope that if we meet again it’ll be under better conditions.” Pomona gave a sort of playful bow, coin fringe jingling as she did so. She turned to leave, then thought of something, so she froze and added, “ Try to avoid dark streets on your way home, okay?”
She jogged off, returning to her civilian form only when she knew that no one was watching. Then she hurried home to bother her cat and be bothered by her younger brothers.

Castille smiled at the bow and returned it, saying "I'll stay under streetlights the whole way home." she promised, watching the girl leave.
She also quickly returned home, and ran upstairs to plug her camera into her computer. She watched the pictures load, tiny thumbnails that would prove her to be completely sane. When the upload bar was complete, she started to flip through the pictures, excitement growing.
They were blurry. A lot of them. But there were a few gems among the drab. A One shot of a surprised girl wearing a bright red uniform to match her equally bright red hair. Castille smiled and almost shouted in triumph. She saved it under a new folder, and got up from her computer to change into pajamas.
Well she'd found her new project.
