Take finally got home after school and was cooking up a storm in the house since his father sucked at doing it. Hopefully his new girlfriend didn't mind that but made she didn't since his father was wearing a goofy grin on his face every since he got him. Hell not even getting in trouble today dampened it! It was like it was okay for him to be in trouble. Just two more house left until this dinner party.

Almost an hour left until the dinner guests arrived. Takeru looked very handsome in his semi casual outfit of a button down shirt with black pants and converse with a jacket. His hair was messy but what could you do? It had personality. He was setting the table and making sure that his father was looking his sharpest all while getting the food prepared. Almost there.

"They are almost here." The father, Mr. Yamaguchi, was so excited that he was starting to sweat with all his nerves high-strung. "Dad, just relax. This is your big night. Don't kill it with sweating and looking crazy." Takeru couched as he was sitting down making sure the table set up was good. His dad and his girlfriend at the end of the tables while him and the woman's kid across from each other.

That way everyone can look at each other and see if they can get along. Yet....As much as Takeru wanted to ruin this night, he couldn't do that to the only parent who actually loves him and took care of him.

Mr. Yamaguchi opened the door with a bright smile as he looked at his girlfriend. "You look lovely my dear." Then he looked at Tachibana and nodded a welcome. "Please come in both of you. It's a bit chilly out." He said, offering his hand to the woman with a fond, loving smile.

Takeru stood far behind him, out of sight until they entered so that the introductions could be properly made. Yet what Takeru didn't know was that his life was going to change dramatically forever....

Mr. Yamaguchi motioned for Takeru to introduce himself when he saw his classmate, Tachibana there. What the hell was he doing here?! It was his mother who had been dating his father?! What the hell was going on?! Blinking some he removed the shocked expression and turned it into a charming smile that he wasn't feeling inside as he held his hand out to Tachibana's mother and shook her hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you." Then he turned that smile on Tachibana.

Takeru figured that he wasn't going to make this a arkward situation but rather play it off. They weren't classmates here just two guys with parents who dated each other. How weird is that?! "Hello. I'm Takeru Yamaguchi. You are?" He asked politely with the offer of his hand, which was a total opposite of his personality at school.

Takeru nodded as he went to sit across from Tachibana and watched as his father sat on the other end of the table smiling brightly at Ms. Saika. "Now then. I hope you all enjoy the meal. Takeru has made his favorite dish of meat loaf with mashed potatoes, green beans and baked a delicious apple pie." He said proudly as Takeru smiled brightly at Ms. Saika. "I figured that if we are going to have a special dinner I pulled out all the stops." He said.

Mr. Yamaguchi smiled at Ms. Saika. "The feeling is mutual my dearest." He said, pouring her a bit of wine while Takeru was just looking at Tachibana. He hadn't taken his eyes off his classmate for some reason. Maybe it was the shock that this could be his future brother well step brother if things go well tonight. "So Tachibana, do you find the meal to your liking?" He asked with a charming smile.
