The bronze had been quite pleased with himself, exploring his new home, eating all sorts of food and chatting with the BIG DRAGONS! Now he was sleeping someplace dry and warm.

Nope, Viska was getting annoed now and her eyes began to flash with slivers of orange, thisonenowhere .. thisonegone... were the impressions Zeren got from her whenever she came back to him with her failed attmpts.

Well his pipes seemed absolutely useless so he better save his breath and perhaps keep some dignity although there seemed to be no dignity where firelizards were concerned.

The bronze seemed to be very elusive, and he remembered back to when he'd found the bronze critter out on the beach, all waterlogged and close to drowning, the little hatchling had barely cracked egg and had managed to escape wherries and other such predators, only to almost drown when he got tangled in seaweed. Zeren wondered about that now. whether the flit had been chasing something in a fit of mad energy.

His toe now hurt and his legs burned but the flit was still nowhere to be seen, perhaps bait would work. Cause "here bronzy bronzy" sure wasn't.
