Aislinn, suddenly not finding tag so much fun anymore, walked over to Hula Bob and his surfboard. "What that?" she asked, pointing to the board curiously. It looked like a flat, funny-shaped table.
Kymo watched the children and sighed. "They're growing up so fast, Woobie...soon they won't be children anymore. I only hope they'll learn how to take care of themselves before they decide to go off on their own..." One of the reasons Kymo was especially afraid of them going near the water was because she feared if she became to excited or emotional, she might just accidentally cause the water to pull them from shore. They didn't know how to swim yet, and she hated to think what would happen then.
"Well...I...uh...I don't know," Dax admitted sheepishly. "I've always had it. But I've never had legs like you. I don't think I'll ever get them either. Maybe you just have to have them when you're born. But that doesn't mean you can't swim." He tilted his head and gestured for her to come into the water. "Come on! I'll teach you, if you like the water's great!

Regan followed his sister over to Uncle Bob. He cocked his head at the board, "It a board..duh!" He wasn't sure what it was beyond that though.
"I'm sure they will, we're great teachers." Woobie kissed her cheeck, "You want to sit down and watch them harrass Bob?" Woobie laughed and put his arm around Kymo.

Hula Bob smiled. "Yes, your brother is correct. It is a board, but not just any board it is a surf board. Awesome." Hula Bob smiled and chuckled. "You use it on the water."

Draei stared at the blue ish waters for a minute, before happily plunging in. The young Pae child struggled towards Dax, such strong water currents! And all of a sudden she slipped and was pulled under the water!
