ROSHLEV IRKECK

Roshlev continued to juggle his balls of fire for a minute until he felt a tap on his shoulder which caused him to throw the fireballs very high into the air as he stood up. He turned around and right before he was about to talk to Audrea he remembered the balls of fire and snatched them all out of the air before they hit the ground. And said he lifted the fire balls up to Audrea and blew them out in front of her. Then he smiled remembering his time with her from before And said "Hey"

(Watching the Phantom of the Opera. AND IT'S AWESOME!!!!..... Wow, that sounds gay xD)

User ImageHeadmaster Valencia Emory

"Oh, right." Valencia replied after Beleren had advised her to begin her speech. She had been watching all of the newbies, taking in the new faces and admiring the huge amount of potential that sat before her. So many new students, all of different races, all with unique powers, and they came here to her school in hopes of learning to perfect their powers and theirselves! Valenica admired them all...but then returned to reality.

She straightened up and cleared her throat, dispelled her cloud and tapped the microphone, which made an annoying sound that caught everyone's attention. She could see that a few expected students had not arrived yet...they'd be welcome later anyway. "I apologize for the wait," Valencia began to say, with her soft bell-like voice. Highly misleading.

"Welcome to Emory Academy. I am the Headmaster Valencia Emory. I look forward to meeting you all personally very soon.

Many of you came here for refuge. Others may have come to hone their skills, to become warriors for battle. Perhaps you just pursue knowledge. Or were you forced to attend? Whatever the reason that you are here, I myself am very excited to have you.

You youths are the future of our world and our relationship with humans..."

Valencia paused for a moment after that statement. She gazed over the crowd quickly, for she was more interested than anything in each students opinion about that.

"The question is, how will this war end, and what will it mean? I created this school because I believe that the answer to that question is up to you. I hope that you will be guided here to make the decision.

"Each one of your teachers is highly qualified to train you. Please treat them with respect, as you should your fellow students. Perhaps some of you may have a grudge against another race, but rest assured, we can all be friends here. More or less at least."

Valencia continued to explain simple school rules and curriculum. "There will be a tournament held soon. Your fights will determine which master here you will be assigned. Each master will have three students, which means you and two others will be working as a team. Learn from your master, they have a lot to teach you."

"Now, you are free to go. Hopefully you have all the papers you need to find your dormitory room if you havent already. See me if there are any problems. Any questions? I feel as though I may have forgotten something..." She trailed off with that last sentence, not wanting to seem like a fool.
.

" Sacrafices are made when cowards reach a dead end. "

((Sorry everyone. I was so busy...I hope everyone hasn't given up on the story. My amount of free time is not very steady so I can't say how often I'll be able to post.))

[Rowen Darkchild ~ The C.A.T.]

Rowen watched the girl leave...more or less blowing her off. The Jenovan narrowed her eyes, returning her attention to the stage up front. Sure, maybe she had given up her coat for a selfish reason or two, and in the end it didn't matter much. But could you really expect anyone to not feel slighted in some way?

Thank fully, she was able to put that from her mind as the Headmistress stepped up, and gave her speech. Most of it was just pretty rhetoric as she'd expected. The only really intriguing part was her talk of war, and peace relations between the numerous races. Rowen didn't care much for such things, probably even less than anything else; if there wasn't war, there'd be no use for her. But she didn't think that the war would be ending anytime soon. Too many lusted for blood and death, for reasons they'd probably all had forgotten ages ago.

Audrea Beaudelaire

Audrea grinned from ear to ear when he turned around and jumped as she blew out his fire. "Hiya." She said softly. She kepy her hands held together to keep them warm.
She had no clue what to do. The awkward silence was growing, and she almost regretted approaching him. The night they sat at the pond came back into thought. Audrea's mind went blank as her face turned rosy.
Suddenly, the headmaster piped up.
"I guess I'll see you later..." She said as she waved and went back to her seat. She kept her head down and her arms crossed and sat down by the girl she sat by before. She felt dumb in that she couldn't even talk to someone she already knew. Audrea tried not to think about it so much, but it seemed like she couldn't help it.

Roshlev smiled as Audrea blew out the flames in his hand. He again thought back to the night near the pond. A thought that often came to mind while they were apart. And was happy, despite the freezing cold he was currently experiencing. But before he had a chance to speak the headmaster started to speak, and that caused Audrea to leave. And Roshlev started to be sad but he hoped they would talk later, And hopefully make out. [ :3 ] But while she was gone he listened to the headmaster's speech and when she mentioned the papers they all had he remembered the semi charred piece of paper in his pocket. It was charred because paper doesn't do to well in the Demon world. He was lucky that it didn't COMPLETELY burst into flames.

He read that he was in room 7 with and had a roommate. So he stood up after the headmaster had finished her speech and he was semi excited about the fighting for master's and only could hope he would be partnered with Audrea. And he knew he had to make sure he fixed it so they were together. So he began to walk to the dorm building hoping something would happen and this wouldn't be just another boring walk in the cold.

Audrea Beaudelaire

Audrea smiled when Valencia finished her speech. Well written. She thought. She stood up, looking down at the piece of paper she had received. Rowen Darkchild. An unusual name. But nothing here was usual, so she just had to get used to it. She looked down at the girl next to her.
"You must be Rowen." Audrea said, smiling slightly. "Im sorry I didn't introduce myself earlier. Im Audrea." She said.

Thom watched the student, stepping down from his frozen platform. The tournament was always his favorite part of the new year, with all the students showing everything they had. He`started toward his office. There would be osmething for him to do before the years start, and he didn't want to spend his free day tomarrow doing it. Anyone who needed his help could find him in his office, though he doubted any of the new students would bother to look for it.

Listening to the speech, Marcus pulled the paper his father had given him from his bag. He was in room five, and no roomate. Better for me. I am used to privacy. He headed for the dorm building. Most of the others were heading that way as well, so he just followed the crowd. It seemed that there were very few students here, compared to schools of the mortal world. Perhaps that would be better though.
