Throwing it again to the ground, Snowy somehow hoped this result will be better than the others. Oh how she missed the smell of the fountain or the scent of the morning air at Barton. Though before the pair of dice stopped, she was pulled back by the Labtech yet again and was about to be thrown when she materialized a sword again form her Slash ring to perform another attack.

Luckily, it took the Labtech by surprise and she was able to slash his stomach, resulting to high damage. Snowy, as she landed on the ground, turned to look at the dice and saw the result. It was indeed really high, highest she got right now. She ran to it and tried her luck once again as she heard the Labtech was still roaring and groaning out of pain.

Picking up the pair of dice, she let go of it immediately and watched it roll on the ground. Then, there was that thundering footsteps again. Though before it could get near her, the pair of dice stopped to reveal the result of the next assault. It made her smile and somewhat gave her strength to go on and fight.

She then faced the Labtech and aimed her Guns ring to its wounded stomach. The Labtech who was blinded by anger, thinking it would miss him was taken aback as the materialized bullets went through his body. He backed off a few steps taking in the damage of the assault.

Snowy was able to pick up the pair of the dice again as the Labtech was still taken aback by the wounds it has now. She threw it on the ground again and waited for the pair of dice to stop and tell the fortune of the next assault. As soon as it stopped, Snowy's eyes was filled with glint of desire to end this match and get to Barton as soon as possible.

She soon stood up tall and proud right in front of the groaning Labtech who held its injured arm and dashed to it. She materialized another sword from her ring Hack and shoved right through the Labtech's body. He let out a load roar like a bellow of a huge animal. Snowy then backed away and turned back to get the pair of dice to roll it again.

As soon as she picked up the dice, a not so pleased Labtech grabbed her wounded arm which made her yelp in pain. She was pulled back and unintentionally was able to let go of the dice she was holding in her hand. It rolled on the ground as the Labtech who did its reprise waved her arm as it grabbed her wounded arm tighter. Snowy couldnt help but yell in pain and agony.

As she slowly gained focus to attack the Labtech for one final blow, she materialized her a gun from her ring Guns to end this while she was being waved around like a weightless toy. Though it missed the target since the Labtech somehow predicted what she would do. She was then thrown to a tree and smacked her back to it with a loud thud. She slid down, her hand feeling two cube objects on the ground; lucky that she landed where the pair of dice were.

Upon picking it up, she suddenly felt all the pain she had in one blow and its getting worse. Hope this one roll will let me get over this. she thought though she seemed like she was already praying it. Then when she heard the thunderous sound of footsteps, Snowy threw the pair of dice immediately and turned around to face the Labtech.

She was then grabbed again by the Labtech with its powerful hands and was lifted up from the ground. In an attempt to stop him from throwing her away to another tree, Snowy aimed her Guns ring at his face and was about to materialize the gun when the Labtech let her go by throwing her on the ground not too far away from the dice so the attack was unsuccessful. Snowy wouldnt be surprised about this since its probably the result of the roll.

Taking this to her advantage that she's still free, she ran to where the pair of dice lay and picked it up. "Im going back to Barton and no one can stop me!" she exclaimed as she threw the dice on the ground again. She turned around to see the Labtech, who was trying to resist the pain from its wounds, was snickering at her. She knew she must finish it off before she collapses out of exhaustion.

From her Hunter's bow Ring, she materialized a bow and an arrow and aimed at the Labtech which it easily dodged. It laughed mockingly at her as she fell down on her knees and looking at the pair of dice which showed her the results of the roll. Once again, her rolls turned out really bad.

Snowy tried to catch breath, panting heavily as she shook her head. Her vision was already blurry and having this fight last for a few more minutes isnt a good idea. The Labtech stopped laughing now and walked to her slowly, stomping on the ground menacingly as he advanced towards her. "Submit yourself to us." the Labtech said to her in a low raspy voice. "You'll be a perfect experiment subject." Snowy glared at him and tried to get on her feet as she picked up the pair of dice. "Never." she answered as she let go of these.

Its as if time stopped and the only thing that moved was the pair of dice that soon hit the ground. Sweat ran down on Snowy's face as she clenched her fists. She closed her eyes tightly praying this'll be over soon, hoping she will not end up as a test subjects for these maniacs, same as with his friend, the Barton Town Guard, Eli. She aimed her Hunter's Bow ring at the Labtech again, materializing a bow and an arrow. Once again, he evaded it easily and continued to advance forward to her.

Snowy knelt down on the ground again to pick up the pair of dice, knowing she must go on to roll something etter to finish this off. "I will be able to go back to Barton!" she exclaimed, clenching her fist tighter around the pair of dice. "I will never be your test subject! And I will be able to see my family again!!" She let go of the dice and stood up mightily aiming another materialized bow and arrow at the Labtech who was still advancing towards her.

She let go of the materialized arrow, hoping it'll hit him now. The velocity of it was fast enough but he was still able to avoid it. But she wont give up now, not now that she was able to injure this Labtech heavily. Just a little more, she just need to hang on a little bit more.

Kneeling down once again, Snowy picked up the pair of dice on the ground. She musnt be baffled, nor does hope musnt waver. Its near, she can feel it, the end of this battle. "Id hate to give you more wounds." the Labtech declared as he continued to move towards her. "We need you to be flawless as possible." Snowy spit out as she glared at him, putting up her hand and opening it to drop the pair of dice. With that hand, she motioned for him to come closer. The Labtech chuckled heartily even though he was already enduring too much pain.

Materializing yet another bow and arrow, she aimed at it again but now she didnt released the arrow yet. She aimed at him for a while then when he reached just five meters away from her, she released it which the Labtech didnt expect. It knocked him back three more meters as blood gushed out of his new wound.

Snowy smiled in a very teasing way, knowing victory is just a few seconds away from her now. She knelt down to pick the pair of dice again and stood up as quickly as she can. She felt like she was ready to celebrate victory but at the same time faint because of exhaustion and blood loss. She let go of the pair of dice and looked up to see the Labtech now charging towards her. He has decided to finish it off and knocking Snowy back would cause her to faint right now. She only has an ounce of energy left in her and nothing else.

She aimed another materialized bow and arrow at him again but this time it missed as the Labtech slid to the side before continuing to charge at her. He swung his strong arms at her and Snowy luckily was able to dodge it by ducking down on the ground.

Upon picking the pair of dice as she was still on the ground, the Labtech's momentum caused him to not able to brake his run thus he was able to run off a good five meters away from Snowy. Given enough time and distance from him, Snowy was able to stand up and drop the pair of dice at the same time.

She materialized a bow and three arrows on it, planning to fire it all at him. She also put all his energy into it, betting her victory and everything else to this last shot. The Labtech turned around and glared at her, aiming to also do a final shot to her. He charged to her once again and at the same time, Snowy fired the three arrows to him. The Labtech tried to avoid it but it was too late. He fell down dead on the ground, while Snowy fell down on her knees. Everything was getting dimmer and darker. She closed her eyes and completely collapsed on the ground.

Fluttering her eyes till they were full open, Snowy woke up to find herself being surrounded by people. They all looked worried and happy at the same time that she was now conscious. She slowly stood up to find herself being bandages heavily; some people were still using Bandage rings, Diagnose rings and Wish rings to her to heal her up. She looked around amidst the light that surrounds her, and noticed she was at Barton already and she had just past the North Gate. "Where-?" she started to ask but was cut when one guy she doesnt even knew pat her head. "Youre fine now." he started. "Our crews found you outside at Bassken when we were about to enter the North Gate. You were unconscious so we brought you along to heal you up." Snowy then bowed her head slightly to thank them. "Thank you." she said as she smiled weakly looking at each and everyone of them. "Where's the North Gate guard Eli?" One of the girl them smiled at her and pointed at the guard standing beside the gate who was now smiling at Snowy. She recognized him as Eli. "We helped him too, we found him unconscious at the bushes nearby." the girl said, as she continued to use her Wish ring at her.

After thanking everyone, they all left her after they were assured that she's fine now. "Beware of Johnny Gambino. They said he's around here somewhere; thats why we came along here to Barton." another guy said as they were walking away. Snowy nodded and bowed once again to show how much she appreciated their help.

Johnny Gambino? Is he the one who threatens the Modmas? she thought to herself. Well then that explains why every monster she was able to fight was related to the Gambinos. The Labtech, the grunnies; they all belonged to their secret lab. It isnt a surprise anymore that he is the mastermind of this sick plot. While she was drowning in her thoughts, something suddenly flew towards her which she was able to duck to avoid it. Its an arrow but it isnt that fast but still who would do such thing? She turned around to see Gambino walking towards her. He came from the fountain area; probably after being able to beat people there. Gambino already looked like a maniac; like he was already a lunatic. He was also laughing that familiar maniacal laughter everyone knew. And this calls for a dice roll. Putting her hand into her pocket, she grabbed the pair of dice which was luckily there and threw it to the ground.

Seeing how lucky she was to have a good roll, she aimed her Guns ring at Gambino who was still walking towards her. She materialized a gun and shot at him. She was able to give him a heavy damage for a good start of the fight. There isnt anyone there at the area anymore; just her and Gambino. And she could feel itll be a good face off. Now that she got his attention, the battle between her and Gambino to finish it all will start here.
