Clearly they had been at Malvren far too long, and they had grown fat, soft and complacent after Benden's victory with the little Malvren gold. This was ridiculous. None of them -deserved- to win, if they could not try their hardest!
Primath snarled a challenge again as she whirled through the sky, daring them to try harder. Exhaustion be damned, let them fall from the sky, if they could not keep up with her.

Go on green. Go on. Snarl and struggle. Strive for superiority. When she tired, just for a second, Brumath would be there to snap her up. Youthful impetuosity got you nowhere, in the end. He was ready.

Milnth snarled, yet again she eluded him. He twisted in the air and gained some altitude, once he was high enough he folded his wings and became silent, save for the wind rushing over his skin. Hopefully this trick would work and he would catch her as he plummeted towards the green.

Several times he came close to Milnth and Brumath, snarling and with a snap of the wings, moving away while trying to catch Primath. His blood was burning hot for her and even if he didn't win, it would take a long time for him to fly this feeling off.
(EDIT: LMAO gotten 20 like 3 times)
Again close. But not close enough to grasp her.

Milnth grumbled and was forced to veer off and flap his wings hard to regain altitude, she had avoided him AGAIN! Luckily though she'd avoided the others too, so he redoubled his efforts to out trick the tricky Green. He had to admit, he was Impressed, it was a shame she wasn't a Gold, there'd have been some fine eggs from her.
