"See?" Alessa leaned back to get out of the poor boil's face. He didn't look terribly happy to see them, really, but he had offered his name. She touched Alwine's arm again, in hopes it would prompt the ghoul to let go. "Everything's fine, with no one dead in here that isn't supposed to be." Couldn't exclude the undead, after all. But at least they were alive in their death? Or something.
"I'm Alessa," she told the two of them, after being the only one who hadn't introduced themself. She passed a glanced back at Alwine. "You should stop being so hard on yourself. I'm sure he's not upset, are you Bartholomew?" She then look in his direction expectantly. It was an innocent enough gesture, but of course if he was a jerk about it she was likely to give him a piece of her mind too.

Still clutching Jack's tail to her chest, Belladonna heard her name and saw another familiar face, jumping up onto her knees in the seat so that she now faced back towards Julian. "JULIAN!!" For some unknown reason (*coughbeingonthelasttrainandlosingherabilitytofightbackcough*) Belladonna was now suffering through a terrible bout of "Freak everybody the jack out". Now it was her turn to first pause and look over at all the girls crowded around the sleepy looking, but rather cute, demon, before turning back to Julian and finding a girl sitting next to him.
"Thank Hecate! You've got someone to sit with you! Nothing should happen on this ride, but if something does, you two pair up and don't let go! Jack is my partner this time, right Jack!?" She jumped back down to sit normally in her seat, still holding his tail and flashing him her biggest, most helpless eyes. Honestly though, she knew Jack was on her side no matter what because they had suffered the first train ride together. They had this one down!
................................Hopefully.

"Err," Bartholomew said, still dangling there in spite of the fact that he was being manhandled. "She's right. It's alright, really."
He cleared his throat.
"Easy mistake to make. Happens to me all the time."
What part of Alwine was he supposed to be looking at? Was it polite to stare at someone's chest if they didn't have a head? ...Barth decided it wasn't worth that much bafflement over and stared at a neutral bit of wall.
"Nice to meet the pair of you," he mumbled

It didn't take long for Jack to peer out someone who had been on the same train as he was the last time, his eyes lightining up when he saw Belladonna storm through the train straight to his seat. "Ah, Belladonna." He murmured almost wistfully, subconsciously lifting his tail from the seat in welcoming, only to feel a foreign tug from her grasping it with all her soul in a comforting fashion. "I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who's a little unnerved. Zwei is happy to see you also, of course you can sit with me." He finally answered, flicking the end of his tail that was free. It was a little uncomfortable, but at the same time, it calmed him down a little, knowing that he wasn't the only one who was a little spooked by just being on a train with so many.
Looking up to the creature that started talking to his partner, his eyebrows raised at the feathered wings, but then dropped in disinterest - he had been safe until he stood up last time he was on a train. Their little corner was starting to fill a little, he mused lightly, when Tsetsiliya came over to them also, but he tried to put a soft face on, as he looked to the soft-spoken girl. "I don't see why not, it is empty." He echoed agreements with Belladonna, before looking down to her. "Yes, I think it'd be best if we stuck together, regardless."
Zwei, on the other hand, was content with walking across the backs of the chairs that Jack and Belladonna shared, his long body lounging across them as he laid down, purring deeply between their heads as he watched everyone. He put a brave face, but his eyes darted to everyone who came in with indignation.

Mandy had quietly watched the entire exchange between Bunny, Headless and Sleepy with no small amount of incredulity. Was Headless really that thick? I mean- well ok she didn't have a nose or ears to tell her he obviously wasn't dead but the ghoul was obviously seeing somehow and even Mandy's poor eyesight could pick up the rise and fall of Sleepy's chest.
Still despite her disparaging thoughts she manage to keep out of it almost to the end. It wasn't until she saw the poor boil trying to figure out where to look that she finally cracked and burst out laughing at the group.

Julian turned when he was quietly addressed and blinked at the pale girl who asked about the seat next to him.
"Oh u-um, s-sure, you c-can sit there," he replied with a small smile. He moved out of the way, flinching at Belladonna's screech. What was she going about? If something went down to pair up with this ghoul and don't let go? He didn't even know her. Belladonna was acting much more unusual that normal. He decided not to ask, that sounded like a story he didn't really want to hear.
He turned to the other ghoul again, tilting his head a bit to one side. He gave her a slightly apologetic look for Belladonna's outburst.
"My n-name's Julian."

Alwine had cheered up a considerable amount since she started speaking to the two of them. Alessa seemed nice and Bartholomew seemed rather oblivious to Alwine's obvious faults... even if he didn't seem to make eye contact with her. She was used to that by now, sigh.
And then Mandy started laughing. Had Alwine done something stupid again? She did that a lot. Her neck flushed, her shoulders flushed, everything all the way down to her fingertips flushed red. She wished she could disappear right then and there-- she had tried it several times during this whole fiasco, but the pin limited her (and god forbid she tried to make trouble).
So, in a case like this where Alwine could fight or flee-- she fled. And when I say 'fled', I mean she slunk down and hid in the window seat next to Bartholomew.
"I won't make a peep," she promised. "Just hide me, this is too embarrassing for me to handle. You won't even notice I'm here, really."
Despite the fact that most of the trouble in this train car had somehow spread from Alwine and her self-loathing tendencies.

Mandy's laughter cut off when Headless went and hid herself. Dear Jack, this had to be the weakest ghoul shed ever met. " Chill Headless, I wasn't laughing at you - I was laughing at the situation you'd put Sleepy there in. You really need to grow a spine you know?" Mandy didn't care if she sounded rude at that point, the ghoul needed to be told it or this train ride was going to be painful.

Alessa wasn't quite sure she believed Bartholomew, as it didn't really seem like a commonly made mistake, but that was alright. She didn't mind that he was fibbing a little for Alwine's sake. The poor ghoul seemed to need it, with the low confidence levels she was displaying. This, of course, was proven all too true when Alwine shuffled to hide behind the demon boil in response to Mandy's laughter. Ugh, that ghoul!
She hated being protected or taken care of, but she had absolutely no qualms doing so for others. For some reason, at this point, she felt entitled to help Alwine. It probably helped that she had been a bit miffed at Mandy from the beginning. "Do you have a problem?" Alessa asked Mandy sharply, giving her a strangely narrow and disapproving look for a rabbit. "Just leave her alone and mind your own business."

Tsetsiliya looked surprised at the girl sitting the row ahead so enthusiastically insisting that she and the winged boy stick together. She seemed rather.. energetic, nervously so. Had something happened? If anything, it did make her insides squirm. Maybe they knew something she didn't. When the companion next to her said she should have a seat since the seat was empty, she gave him a timid smile.
"T-thanks." The poludnica sat down with a solid thump, burying her hands in her lap. Immediately her fingers sought out the braided gold belt and the sickle charm, toying with it as she often did out of habit. In crowded groups she would normally shrink down and keep quiet, but it wouldn't do to ignore somebody if they were talking to you, would it? The boy had allowed her to sit next to him, after all.
"H-Hello, I'm Tsetsiliya." She couldn't help but redirect her gaze towards the seats in front of them. "And.. w-what did she mean by 'partners'?" She had wanted to ask about the girl's nervous excitement, since it, too, had rubbed off on her, but that might have been too tender a subject.

Julian sat down when the ghoul had gotten into her seat, choosing to ignore Belladonna for the moment. He knew she could be a little energetic, but this was a bit more than he could handle. He was just pulling out his book from a pocket in the loose black cargo shorts he was wearing (Though it was hard to call them shorts, they fell below his knees, but weren't really long enough to call pants or even kapris) when she introduced herself and asked what Belladonna had meant.
"I d-don't honestly kn-know. With her, c-could be anything," he replied with a small shrug, letting the book fall back into his pocket. If she wanted to talk, he wouldn't dismiss her. That would be rude, even if he did have trouble talking with others.

Well looky, Bunny did have some bite to her. Good, she hated to fight with the defenseless, it was just no challenge and no fun. Raising her hands up in a 'What me? I'm harmless.' gesture she snapped back, "Hey Bunny, she needs to be told. Spineless don't make it, 'sides didn't Prof. Shoxx say no Princesses? I'm just making sure ghouly can tough it a bit, don't what'll be on this trip but you can bet it'll be tougher than little old me. Last time it was a Berserker, who knows this time?"

"Oh Zwei, I am ever so delighted to see you as well!" A hand darted away from Jack's tail for a moment to pet him, before returning to the tail. It finally dawned on her that this may be bothering Jack, but she also kind of figured he would have said something when she first grabbed it. So all in all, the only thing left to do was twist back around to address Tsetsiliya and Julian. Actually, there was one other thing to do.
"Hi, I'm Belladonna." She flashed a quick smile to the girl, before furrowing her eyebrows. "Can we call you... Siliya?! Doesn't that sound darling?" Somehow the red head managed to position herself so that she was leaning against Jack (she meant it in the friendliest way possible) and still facing the others.
"SO. When Jack and I were first coming to Amityville, we had to ride this train and all these really awful things started happening. Other students were being attacked and getting cut up and passing out and no one could use their FEAR to fight it! There weren't any teachers on the train and everyone started accusing each other. It was totally awful and horrific!" Throughout this entire time she had somehow managed to inject a number of very scary looking hand motions that mostly included ripping someone up and general mayhem. "Then something attacked ME. It was really terrible, I couldn't move... But Zwei here was a sweetie, just like Jack! And they made me feel lots better.
.........Wasn't there supposed to be a point to all of this? OH YEAH! "And I paired up with this really nice ghost-girl, Kasumi, we're still really good friends actually! But she was trying to protect me by figuring out who was the attacker. But staying paired up really helped. So you two stick together, NO MATTER WHAT. OK!?" To further prove her point, she wound one arm around Jack's, though she was turned backwards and it seemed a bit odd, but it was the thought that mattered!

Simone walked confidently up to her designated car and pulled herself up to enter. The metal had been chilly, but a few swipes over her arms and her hands were back to their toasty norm. In all honesty, the little demon was looking forward to riding the train, in spite of the nervous looks in some of the students faces as she had made her way over. She hadn't ridden a train since she was but a little ghoul and the prospect of riding by herself with a bunch of her new classmates was an enticing idea in and of itself.
She looked down the center aisle, her brows arching slightly. From the looks of things, some folks had already gotten worked up over something and there appeared to be clustering. Safety in numbers? Surely train rides weren't so bad here. Well, she would just have to see. Simone scanned around to find the girl with paper in hand and the look of someone who was relatively in charge. She waved upon spotting the ghoul, she had missed her name. Ah, she'd get it sometime during the ride, she figured.
Now, the first dilemma of the ride: Where to sit? The grouping of four seemed promising, and they appeared to be having a little bit of a story time. She didn't mind being a fifth wheel. Besides, she could always grab a boil of her own and make an even set. The tension between a few of the ghouls on board brought a slight frown to her face. The train hadn't even started moving yet and some folk were already getting all in a tizzy. This wasn't the tone she was wanting to ride the train in. Hm.
Simone straightened herself up and moseyed her way down the aisle slowly, letting her fingers trail over the tops of the seats as she walked. "Hello, everyone. What's all this commotion? We haven't even gotten rolling yet. Surely it couldn't all be because of the train." She offered a bit of a smile and cocked a hip as she leaned against one of the seats. "What's up?" Hopefully she'd draw some energy out of the stirring tension with some conversation.

((I would like to sink your Battleship!))
Having quietly boarded the train and chosen a seat earlier, Sheeki looked around the cabin with a snarl to his face. He didn't like people. They were too loud. No. Wait. He carefully pinched his brow ridge as he gathered his thoughts again. So what if they were loud? They can't be expected to adjust to meet his preferences. He can't keep having those impulses; he's a rational ghost dammit.
Shaking all evil thoughts from his mind (he's not that antisocial, really) he looked around the cabin. It seemed a lot of the students were already bustling about while he was daydreaming. What was that? Seems like he missed Rain's introduction. And some other things that he didn't care for.
These people give me a migraine. He stared at one of the walls while he tried to wait for such thoughts to disappear. Because ignoring is always the best option it seems.
One thing he was willing to accept: the pin he was forced to wear pisses him off. A ghost is meant to phase through things. It's what ghosts do. He absently tugged at the pin attached to him. "Where are we going?" he muttered into the air. He had sat alone, not bringing attention to himself. Again, it's what ghosts tended to do.
