Making sure the rainbow-colored bahag his mother insisted he wear was tied securely around his waist, Petro boarded the train car and pinned his pin onto the cloth. Hooves immediately became bare feet while he was shifted into his human form, which made him look like an ordinary, tanned human with a tattoo across his face. Brown eyes studied his form apprehensively, he preferred his real form. Then his thoughts turned towards the passengers, particularly the large green monster surrounded by what Petro thought were his peers. Must be the leader, He thought.

Realizing he knew no one, nor what sort of Halloween Town creatures they were made Petro tense. As seen in the frown on his lips. This was going to be a long ride, it seemed. Silently, he made his way near the front of the train, having missed the sound by seconds as he sat down. He was close enough to the growing crowd that he could pretend he was in the fringes of a herd and when he relaxed, he looked open enough to approach. Still, he awkwardly scratched at his tattoo.

So many familiar faces in one place were enough to make G's heart swell a little; there was Adelle, up a little further, and the beast made a mental note to visit her soon. In fact, he should probably address the majority of the car, now that he was thinking about it. Introducing himself would be a good thing!

"G dunno about boss." He started, then flinched a little at her sudden squeak, worriedly watching to see if he needed to do anything. She wasn't choking, was she? G choked sometimes on food. It wasn't fun. Her words earned another rattling tail-bang against the floor, and the swamp beast seemed delighted to have made a friend so quickly. "G don't mind. G likes friends."

His ear fins twitched as the purple hand suddenly clapped itself on top of the seat, resisting the urge to reach out and give it a gentle pat. He liked the little monster, whoever she was!

"Yaaayaaaaa." His head had swiveled to catch sight of the graceful demon, and he offered her a happy grin. So many friends in his cabin! He was so lucky. "S'okay. Lotsa people. G glad to see Yaya." And he was!

The ghost's encouragement was enough to make G beam a little, eagerly eating up the praise. He wouldn't let Tybalt down! "G has help." He admitted after a moment, though he didn't seem too abashed. "Lots of fun."

The scratching thumps made him pause a little, peering to see if someone had fallen over. He fell over lots. But, there didn't seem to be anyone on the ground, so G didn't worry too much about it, and slowly pulled himself to his feet while trying not to bump into any of his new friends.

"Hullo." The monster said shyly after a pause, his voice easily able to boom through the car. "Am G. Have games 'n stuff for train ride. No fightin' 'n stuff, okay?"

Relieved that that was over with, he gingerly sat down again.

Petro craned his neck towards the large student named G. The tikbalang felt pleased his guess was right but he was also surprised by the tone of the large student's voice. Most leaders he'd encountered had been gruff and stern; it made him wonder if that was just an act. At the mention of games, Petro brightened. He liked competition, "What kind of games are we talking about?"

Carol stared at the monster. He had just spoken about the rules. They were pretty obvious: What was she, stupid? She shook her head.
Carol didn't know anyone, however, and she needed company.
Looking around the room twice, she gathered that the monster seemed kind enough, so she approached him and said
"HELLO." quite loudly, tapping him on the shoulder with her long arm.
"You're very tall."

Haku...she would remember that name, idly making note of what a handsome boy he was...

No, she did not hear the noise. In fact, even those who had heard it, mostly the purple thing, went unnoticed.

But what Natalia had heard was G and the mention of 'games'. Her tail end twitched, ears doing the same while her face (was it really possible?!) welcomed a much wider grin.

Games were fun! From somewhere behind her...or was it in front of her? Natalia couldn't really tell...someone brought up a question she would have asked first. If she hadn't been so consumed with staring at the newcomers...the, pretty looking newcomers.

"Yes, what kind of games G?" The were-lemur nestled deeper into her seat, getting comfortable as best she could before shifting her sights around the room. She liked games...especially the ones that required close contact.

J.P. was glad that he on the train! This mean he could meet other. He tap his chin and sigh. He wonder if anyone would talk to him. "J.P. wonder if J.P. will meet a new friend...hmm" He said out loud. He began to sing to keep his self not to be bored. "YEAHHH! LA LA LA LA!" He dance to his made up beat. He shook his dumb and giggle. He could all ways find something to make himself not bored. He Sung some more not caring if other heard him.

What was that? Adelle stared at the floor as if expecting it to fess up, meanwhile trying to decide what might have produced that variety of sound. Had it even come from the ground? It was somewhere nearby, and at least in her general vicinity. The monster shot a look over her shoulder, noticing that a few others seemed to have picked up on it as well, among them the malnourished looking shade with the hungry stare, and... G, to her infinite surprise. She had to give the swamp beast credit for being alert, if nothing else; but then he dismissed it and turned back to whatever tea party discussion he was in the middle of hosting. Good for him, she supposed. For her part, Adelle shifted to grip the edges of her seat, shaking her earphones off and making sure to cover the nape of her neck with one hand before peeking over. A twist of her head had her hair tumbling down to the ground, the loose tendrils bundling to create a series of inquisitive serpents that explored the underside of the chair and the nearest part of the wall. The threat of her exploration being halted by an unwary step appeared pretty minimal, considering how many students were sitting. Still, someone's shout made her jerk up quickly, a dozen slit eyes blinking away dust while fanged mouths hacked up pre-chewed gum.

The sweet little smile she'd turned on the swamp beast brightened into a pleased grin as he addressed her. Reassuring her that she'd not be half so rude as she'd assumed. That was a relief. Of course, there was still the matter of being alone, and that was not a state the demon was keen to sticking with. She felt, cold, fidgety, and no amount of rubbing dark hands along her own arms would sate the growing.. skin hunger, for lack of a better word.

Rolling back on her heels, the ghoul slipped her feet back to the floor before raising. inching out from her seat and into the aisle so she could move closer to the front of the train and the few familiar aces she knew.

She did pause though, half way there, to peer curiously at a ghoul with long silver hair that seemed to meld into snakes. "That is extremely curious." But in a good way. She flashed a smile, but didn't stick around to chat. Intent on getting closer to the gargantuan treasurer.

"G, could I sit by you. When you're not preforming your councilly duties, that is?" Was that a thread of unease in the djinn's voice? She was clearly not happy with sitting alone. And if her voice wasn't proof enough of it, the habitual run of her palms over ocean blue skirts was.

A highly audible thump hit the side of the car train, creating a giant dent near the left hand seats. The pounding continued, dents scaling up the wall, onto the ceiling, followed by an ear-wrenching shriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiek and scratching, as if something sharp was engraving its nails INTO the metal husk of the train.

Something was trying to get in, and judging by the jarring sound on the top of the train, they were doing a damn good job too.

Aurian was late to arrive in the train car. Opening the door between carriages, she peered at the ticket in her hand, then up at the number above the door. She brightened. After several wrong turns (and almost missing the train completely), she was finally where she ought to be. In her hand with the ticket was a skull pin and she belatedly remembered she was meant to be wearing it at all times. There was an awkward shuffling of items, her weapon being tucked under an arm while she attached the pin to her coat. That done, she beamed and entered the car.

The level of noise surprised her. She wasn't used to being around large groups, particularly not such... active ones. Was this what school was actually like?

Most of the seats were filling up. Aurian didn't know anyone, which also made things hard. She paused in front a mostly empty set of seats. The sole inhabitant was a girl with snakes for hair. Aurian straightened her shoulders and gave her best, warmest smile. "Um, hello. You don't mind if I sit here, do you?"

It was said in a gentle voice, accompanied by a motherly smile, but there was no escaping the fact that Aurian really wasn't expecting a 'no'. Besides, she was a harmless looking humanoid girl, with nice hair and a ready smile. And a large double-ended scythe.

The Reaper brightened her smile, waiting for a response.

Of course, that was when something slammed around the carriage made a terror-inspiring shreik. Aurian looked up. "Is that normal for a train? I've never been on one, so I'm not sure. Or is this a lesson on how to strike fear into the hearts of humans?" she perked up. If they were learning things already, she had to pay close attention. Biting her bottom lip, she hoped she hadn't missed the start of the lesson.

All of a sudden the little scratching didn't seem like such an innocuous thing. Laiha shrieked in as threatening a way as possible as she watched the dents ride up the side of the car. Her lips pulled back, she hissed and tried to press back against the window. Whatever it was, it could be dealt with when it got inside. For now it was a mysterious entity trying to get her and, perhaps, the other people in her car. For a moment she looked toward the swampy boy. He had said he was in the student council, hadn't he? It was his job to protect them! She squealed again and stood on her seat, moving her head closer to the rending if nothing else.

"Eeeh? Games sound fun. What kind of games, G?" He asked, moments before the thump occurred, something which immediately grabbed his attention.

"The hell was that?" He asked; ears completely standing up now that he was alert. Was it a tree branch perhaps? He wondered; moving towards the aisle and as far away from the wall as he possibly could. Just in time too! As soon as he had moved, whatever had made that thud had left a large dent in the wall!. Shi--what the hell IS that!? Was something trying to get inside the train car!? His eyes narrowed, while his hair bristled. Whatever it was--it wasn't stopping! He continued to watch carefully as it made it's way along the wall, but was forced to cover his ears the moment the shriek like sound began. "Gah!" Whatever it was, his ears were not going to tolerate it for much longer.

However, if there was a bright side to any of this--at least they were all aware of the creatures presence now!

Sepheran was still waiting for an okay to sit and debating to himself on finding another seat since the he got no response from this one when a few thumps caught his attention, and although he couldn't see anything his head turned towards the direction of the noise. "Something happen?" Sephy asked to both Liannan and the other students...then came the horrible screeching noise racked his sensitive ears. Sepheran let out a painful groan his hands instantly moving to cover his ears, the sound echoing inside his head giving him a pounding headache. "Arrgghh..." Sephy moaned bending down as if it would help relieve him of the sound.

Something was definitely wrong.

"Hardly normal," Haku intoned to the reaper's question ominously - well no, more like a spoken groan than anything else. For Jack's sake, did the train just attract trouble like a lantern for insects? The screeching, though dulled by the walls, was enough to make him wince and pull his ears back - worse were the dents that were created, making him jump as several bloomed from the flat steel. Casually as he could, he scooted away from the walls.

Forget games, apparently someone really wanted in on this little party. He wondered if the other cabins were experiencing something similar, and if this was yet again a ruse . . . "Hey, 'G'. Any idea what might be going on?" he asked, clutching the seat in front of him. The green monster didn't look like he was the sharpest tool in the shed, but he looked to be in charge - and he figured it was better than speculating right off the bat.

"Wh-what was that!?" Tahki shrieked louder then intended. Ooops she had done that WAY to loud. Quickly her hands clasped over her mouth to silence her. Attention to her self wasn't what she was aiming for.

The gryphons inquiry wasn't the only though. Other students sounded and acted just as alarmed as she had. Thank goodness she wasn't the only one a little spooked or concerned by the sounds and...dents.

Was.. something on the out side of the train? This called for head phones! No.. wait.. this called for.. for... Tahki didn't know. She just sunk in her chair and dared to not look out the window. Something horrible could be out there after all.
