 Nalla Sheridan Bride Nalla smiled as she moved to stand next to Taneir and placed a gentle hand on the girls back as she spoke softly. She was glad the other males were too far away to hear what they spoke of. "Well I am unsure of what female pregnancy is like since we have never had a female pregnant here. But you will have morning sickness for a few months right after you get pregnant. You will crave weird things to eat, things that you would not normally eat together." She smiled to him and rested her head on his shoulder as she explained all the other things that happened to the males when they became pregnant. She told him that when they were about to have the child or children they normally received a c-section, but they never scared so there was no fear of that. ((Do you want to have the males 'breast' feed the children too? If so I have left it open so that she is explaining other things that happen...))

Taneirs tail swished attentively behind him, his ears perked as Nalla explained everything.
"It really doesn't sound very different from our female pregnancies," he said. "I think I could survive..." He gently scratched the baby girl behind her ears, watching her give a gurgly coo in her sleep.
((I'll leave the breastfeeding part up to you, although it'd still be kind of weird for women to have them if they're not used. XD))

Nalla Sheridan Bride Nalla smiled to him and placed a very soft kiss to his cheek, a blush forming as her tail made contact with his. "Follow me and I will show you more of the daycare. We have many different rooms, and a few of the males stay and help me watch over the children." She smiled and leaned away from him as she started to walk further into the house showing him the different rooms where children could play games and build with building blocks. She showed him to the dinning room with a kitchen attached to it where there were dozens of small tables and chairs scattered around the room. ((So maybe the mother breast feeds the child(ren) while the males do everything else lol. Sound alright?))

Taneir gave a small jolt as his tail made contact with Nalla's, but soon smiled and flicked it back against her. "I'd really like to see more."
He actually wasn't expecting a whole lot more, but was surprised to see room after room as the house expanded back. "Wow... Just how many children does your tribe, er... produce?'

Nalla Sheridan Bride Nalla smiled to him at his question and gave him a playful answer. "Our males normally have anywhere from 3 to 6 children in a single pregnancy." She laughed when she saw his reaction, but then answered truthfully. "It really all depends on the family history of the mother and father. For instance my mother and father have only had 2 children in a single pregnancy. So depending on how many children your family created in a single pregnancy we can expect to have any where from 1 to maybe 3 or 4 children in a single pregnancy. Sadly not all make it when there is a large number of children, but at least 1 or two always survive." Nalla looked to the little girl in Taneir's arms and gave him a sad look before she went on. "She sadly lost her twin sister during the birthing. She was too small and couldn't survive outside of their father's stomach and passed away just after she was birthed."

Taneir's eyes widened, then he let out a sigh of relief. "Our families commonly have 1-4 per pregnancy, with 2 the most common number and 5 or more quite rare." He shifted the bundle in his arms to make her more comfortable. "Hopefully all the children we may have will be healthy..."

Nalla Sheridan Bride Nalla smiled as she walked back into the dinning room/kitchen and sat down at one of the tables after grabbing a snack and drink for them to share as well as a bottle for the little girl. She placed everything on the table after pulling the chair out for Taneir. She knew how hard it was to do that when holding a sleeping child so she wanted to help him as much as she could. She nodded her head to his comments and spoke softly. "I hope so too Taneir, I hope so too. I am saddened every time I have to prepare a child to be buried, it is a very sad day when you have to say goodbye to someone so young."

He nodded his thanks and sat down, taking the bottle for the little girl.
"It's an unfortunate part of our kind. We have more children than others overall, but at a cost. Still, you have to wonder what those lost children could have been. Great hunters or maybe even artists, explorers... we'll never know." He rocked the child gently.

Nalla Sheridan Bride Nalla smiled slightly and nodded her head at his words. "That is what makes it so sad. All of them had great potential but it was taken away from them before they could even start to explore it." The little girl in Taneir's arms woke when she felt that Taneir was no longer walking and was about to cry when she saw the bottle in his hands. Her little hands reached out for the bottle as she made cooing noises trying to get the attention of Taneir. Once she was given the bottle she drank, her eyes closed as she held the fingers that were holding the bottle to her mouth. "It seems like you are a natural at this Taneir. You will be a great father when we have children, I am sure of it."

Taneir supported the girl as she drank, her tiny fingers grasping against his own, and looked up at his mate. "I... Don't be so quick to heap praise upon me. I've never thought I'd have any sort of role like this. I could be horrible when it comes down to it..." He gently pulled the bottle away when it emptied.

Nalla Sheridan Bride Nalla just smiled at him as he supported the little girls head like he had been feeding children for years. He was already acting so natural at it, she was sure he would be great with any children they had or took care of. "I am sure if you were horrible at it you would not have been able to get her to relax in your arms long enough to sleep or eat. She only likes certain people from our tribe, she barely likes being held by her own parents." Mia, the little girl looked up to Taneir and gave him a childish smile as she tugged on his fingers. She squirmed happily in his arms as she cooed and giggled. "If you can get Mia to burp without her fussing at being patted on her back that will be your proof that you are a natural at this. She doesn't like being patted on the back normally."

Taneir's eyes widened. "A... natural? I don't..." He looked back down at the girl, happily squirming, and gently propped her up against his shoulder. "I can't believe I'm treating this like a challenge..." He gently patted Mia's back, her tail bouncing slightly with each bounce, until he heard a small burp.

Nalla Sheridan Bride Nalla smiled to him as she laughed a little. She grinned as she heard Mia burp. Mia giggled after she burped and lightly tugged on Taneir's ear as her tail twitched and tickled his nose. "Well there you have it dear, you are a natural. You have made Mia burp without a fuss, and she seems to actually enjoy getting patted on the back by you. She doesn't even like it when I have to burp her, but she doesn't fuss nearly as much as she does when anyone else tries to burp her." Nalla looked out the window and gave Taneir a shocked look before she stood and spoke to him. "It is already getting late, I think we should put Mia to sleep and head back to our home." She looked to him as she waited for him to follow her back to the front room where Mia's crib was.

He chuckled as the little one bent his ear in her grasp. "Hey, now. That's not a toy." He caught Nalla smiling at him from the corner of his eye and suddenly blushed. "It's a fluke. Maybe..." He cradled Mia and walked with his mate back to her crib, setting her gently inside and giving her one last pat behind the ears. "All right. Let's head home."

Nalla Sheridan Bride Nalla smiled and shook her head as she lifted Mia out of the crib to give her a hug and a kiss. As she hugged Mia she lightly patted her back and as soon as she did so Mia started to whimper slightly and reach her arms out to Taneir. Nalla saw this and looked to Taneir and raised an eyebrow and spoke softly. "Still think it a fluke dear?" She handed Mia to Taneir to have him calm her down once more and then motioned for him to lay her down once more. She smiled to him and lightly took his hand to lead him back to their home away from the village. Before they reached their home though she lead him to a small lake that wasn't too far from the back of their home. She looked to him and blushed slightly as she walked to the edge of the bank and slipped out of her outfit to be in just her gown. She looked over her shoulder as she quickly dove into the water, surfacing in the middle of it facing Taneir where she had left him.
