The Ditto was sent skidding backwards .....a bruise from the attack appeared on the side of his face ....as he spit out a bit of blood from biting his tongue. Being a Bagon was never fun, but, he could fight ...fire with fire ...as he open his mouth and the flames would roll in his mouth ...
it would burn away the taste of blood from before ....as the pokemon charges forward with Fire Fang.

Flicker would land at the very edge of the desert to let Toal off as he lower his wings. He knew the boy would have a tough journey to the center, and he thought nothing of helping him off at all ....as the moment he would clear ...he would lift back off and away.

Jack's helicopter begins to land down on the barren desert. He jumps down from the helicopter and lands on both feet unharmed and unfazed by the fall. His thoughts still on the professors words, he doesn't fear her, but respects her strictness. His feelings of rage cooled and with that he brings Oru out of her pokeball. He pets her softly, as he did Oru crawled back on his shoulders.
"Hope you had a good rests, cause this is where the real fights begin..."

A quick movement of something in the sands would be the only warning of the Zigzagoon's movements. One paws after the other, he allowed his belly fur to drag in the dirt as he makes each step towards his opponent .....as he looks over at his opponent quite angrily. His tail rattling from one side to the other ....as he send the sands to either side.
Most pokemon don't bother to worry about new comers that came into their areas, but this Zigzagoon is territorial. In other words, he didn't like to be bother by those that don't belong, and he hated it with a all of it's being as it raised and rattled it's tail like a snake type pokemon.

As the helicopter lands on the desert plains, Bishop jumps out holding the egg carrier. He smiles to the pilot the turns to the desert and sighs. He looks at the egg then reaches in his pocket. He releases Trooper and uses the potion on him. "I swear Trooper, loosing to that rat was disappointing. Don't do it again." He said sternly to Bagon and Bagon nodded, angry at himself. "Now lets go, we have to get a new member for the team." He said then started towards the volcano.

Jack notices the sounds of a pokemon nearby, so does Oru. He points in the direction of the sounds, Oru looked in the general direction with her attention directly at it.
"Oru.... standby."
The Dratini stood alert, still on his shoulders. Jack began running, still directing his focus in the direction of the sounds, Oru stood guard.
Whatever it is, Jack hopes to run away from the unknown pokemon.

Though maybe running through a desert wasn't all that wise as the heat would glare down upon him, and his feet would find in those sands the back of a ekans that had been resting in the sands. It's hiss was an anger one as it seemed to try and turn upon his opponent, and his eyes narrowed in anger of the intrusion as he turned to attack his opponent ...
The boy's leg was open as the Ekans seeks to strike it.

Though the Zigzagoon's only wish was to drive them off, and seeing his success he felt no need to follow. His tail up and his head raised in pride of what he had done ...Jack would get away without any pursuit.
[Runs - in this guild like with everything else, running away is decided by the dice roll. IF your run fails, your pokemon is immediately forced into the defensive phase whether it is faster or not. And the battle will begin, if you attempt to run again ...it can only occur during your pokemon's attack phase.]

Jack's attempt succeeded, he no longer heard the pokemon at all.
"Oru, just be alert to any sounds or noises. This desert isn't a haven for us."
Oru nodded as Jack continued with his task at hand.

Bishop heard a hiss and looked around. he looked down and grew wide eyed when he saw an Ekans. he gulped and jumped away as he saw it try to attack his leg.

The pokemon's fangs would score a hit ....as he would receive his first injury on this mission not more than just a few feet from the drop off. Now the question was whether or not, the pokemon had had poison in it's bite or if it had simply been a regular bite ....as the Ekan's tail rattled and the battle would begin.

Though Jack would find nothing this time ....as the walk would be a more peaceful one as the heat of the desert beamed down on him. The sun seeming to wavier in the sky even as it the air seems to become hot and dry in one's mouth. This was Purgatory island, the place of the desert heat and where the land was as dangerous as the pokemon that lurk with in it.

Jack returned Oru into her ball. He didn't want her to suffer under the extremes of the island. Jack continued his long walk across the sands wishing he had goggles to protect his eyes if any winds start blowing. Step after step, all Jack can think about is getting out of the island.

Bishop fell down onto his butt as the bite hit. He cursed in his head and held the bite mark. "Stupid snake! Trooper, get ready to fight!" He hissed in anger then wiped his blood on his pants.

[Wow, Ekans are out today]
A loud hiss was heard ...as the ekans reared is head as it stared at it's new opponent. A human it would seem that had almost step on her eggs as she moves to protect her clutch. She wouldn't lose to this human as she hissed even more loudly.
It was that wish to protect his eyes that had started this. The Sands that blew that grit everywhere ...was also what kept him from noticing those pale purple eyes in the heat of the sun ...covered over with sand so that they would not roast ...as their mother made the challenge in her hiss clear.
