Riley took to the task of staying still as she was asked, not even moving for breath or to watch Junko's work. She also found nothing awkward about Junko's placement, being that it seemed necessary for the process - and when Junko suddenly called out that she was done, Riley blinked in fascinated surprise.
You're.. done? Surely you have the hands of a demon, to have worked so quickly and efficiently. She turned to look in a nearby mirror, and was equally as pleased with the quality of work as she was with the efficient speed.
Junko, I am very pleased. You have accomplished exactly what I had hoped for. I shall have to bring you something for payment. What kinds of things do you enjoy? She certainly wasn't going to assume Junko was the type to want the same things Riley did - like a nice, wriggling, live meal.

Riley was really laying on the compliments, but Junko felt she was being given too much credit. Surely her mother could have had this finished faster and in a better condition; Junko couldn't find them right now but she was just sure there was a seam here or there that just had to be fixed. Something. Anything. She wasn't as amazing as Riley was making her out to be! Junko blushed, smiling shyly and tucking some wriggling hair behind her ear. "I'm glad to hear that! Payment? Um, well..." Payment? What did she want as payment? Honestly, Junko was fine with doing this for free! Though payment was nice...it had been a challenge, after all. Might as well find a way to make it 'worth her while'?
Ummm... "Well, I like sewing...and I like...cute things?" Though she had a feeling Junko's idea of cute and Riley's idea of cute were two totally different things. The sewing would do just fine! "Honestly, you only have to pay me if you want to. I'm happy to help!" Especially since Riley had said she'd heard about Junko from other sources. People were talking about Junko and saying good things! Very good things, apparently.

Sewing and cute things. Sewing would be a difficult thing to look for, but cute things.. Halloweentown was rank with cute things, lately. Cute, fluffy, terrible little creatures. They made no sense, and yet there they were, looking up with their adorable wide eyes while begging for treats or pets. Luce was an excellent example of such a thing.
I will find you a cute.. thing, then. Riley resolved with a nod. It may take some time, but I'm sure I can manage.
She slipped out of the costume, and picked it up gingerly. With a few folds, she had it tucked neatly over her arm. She turned to Junko and her eyes crinkled in lieu of a smile. It has been a pleasure working with you, Junko. You have been quite informative in the art of sewmanship. Perhaps we shall have some time to discuss other matters at a later date.

Junko was rather surprised Riley was going to go through with it. Sure, she was somewhat worried about what Riley's idea of something cute would be but if Riley insisted then Junko wouldn't argue against it anymore. Fine, fine. Perhaps Riley would even forget if it took too long! Though Junko didn't see that happening anytime soon; Riley didn't seem at all the forgetful type.
"It's been a pleasure meeting you as well, Riley!" She told her with a smile when the mindflayer turned to her again, giving her a polite little bow. When she was straightened up again she clapped her hands beneath her chin and nodded, looking very pleased by the suggestion. "Most definitely! And I wish you all the luck for your audition, I hope I get to see it!" Junko wasn't sure if she'd bee to nervous to watch the other auditions before her or not. Maybe? She couldn't be sure right now. Just thinking about being on that stage made her nervous!
"Now get out." Junko's eyes widened and she turned her head slightly as if that would allow her to see Her.
"Stop being so rude!" She turned back to Riley and gave her another bow, lowering her head in respect as she did. This allowed Riley to see a glimpse of Her beneath Junko's black hair. "I apologize for Her rudeness and look forward to seeing you again, Riley! Take care!" As she stood up straight again She stuck her tongue out to blow an obnoxious raspberry. Junko groaned and rolled her eyes, shaking her head a bit. It was useless to fight it right now.

I look forward to seeing your performance as well. Riley turned to leave, and very skillfully ignored the rudeness that She had uttered. Junko certainly did have a burden in her life, with something like that always making her look bad. She took the doorknob in her hand and gave Junko a nod goodbye, only slightly cringing at the raspberry. I will see you again soon.
It would be best to get out of there quickly before She embarrassed Junko any further. So Riley did just that.
Hours later, when she would be alone in her bedroom, Riley would try the costume on again, and use it to thoroughly scare her Cthulhu into submission. She considered this the best kind of praise for a costume well done, and was satisfied.
