Max grabbed hold of the bottom of the sleeves of her to big of a hoodie. She looked behind her, hearing a little faint scream. "Did you hear that, or am I going crazy?

Ace tuned around, "Rachel!" He said and grabbed both of her arms, pulling.

Rachael pulled, too, and was able to get her foot out. She clutched Ace's arm tightly, like if she let go she would fall to her death. "Hear what?" Jake asked, looking over his shoulder at her.

Ace stepped to where a good part of the floor was and sat down, taking her with him. "You alright?!" He asked

"...I thought I heared something..." She said, looking back to were they were going. "Its freezing in this house!" She sighed. "We are gonna need to buy a heater."

"U-uh-huh." She said, still holding on for dear life. "Yeah. We will." Jake agreed, then stopped walking. "Did you hear that?" he asked.

"Huh, Now I think your going crazy! I didnt really hear anything." She said, and stopped walking about 3 inches away from Jake.

Shaking, Rachael slowly let go of him. She still looked frightened, sitting on the floor. "No I'm serious. Listen." Jake said quietly. There was a very soft sound....Music. Piano music.

Now she listened, "I kinda hear... a faint... piano?" She whispered. "Should we...check it out??" She said, with a little gulp.

Ace stud up and held out his hand. "Come on, I bet we can find some where better to sit then the floor." He said with a faint smile.

Rachael slowly took his hand and stood up, not steady. She was easily scared. Snickers, frightened by the sudden descend when Rachael fell, had lept from her arms and ran out of sight. She just now noticed he was gone. "S-Snickers!" she gasped. Jake nodded slowly, and carefully proceeded down the hall, following the music. It kept getting louder....

"Wait for me!" She said, running to Jake. She stayed a little bit in the back of him, just in case, and she would peek up from his shoulder now and then.

Ace picked up Rachael and held her bride-style. "We will find him, you just need to calm down." He said and looked down the hall. "We should look that way, but for now I will carry you."

Rachael blushed deeply, but was too worried about Snickers, and afraid of this old mansion, that she wasn't as embaressed as she would be. She nodded, her arms around his neck. "S-sorry." Jake pressed his ear against a door, when the music was extremely loud. "It's coming from here." he declared quietly. Slowly, he pushed open the creaking door.
