Well, at least her vocal chords weren't ripped out then! Kaoru smiled a little more to the female demons. She would just have to remember to stay on their good side! Despite some obvious tension between Belt and Kneesocks.
When she glanced over to Cappy, Kaoru waved, with a little smile.
"Ne, perhaps we should get something to eat? That might take the tension out of the air a bit. We don't need to fight each other~! The beach is a peaceful place, today."
At least, that was what she had come here for.

She'd give belt yet another smile,knowing good and well what her true feelings towards her previous question was though rather than letting it she'd happily play along"oh by no means at all..I'm quite positive you can handle yourself i merely asked you cause i really don't feel like scrapping a dead carcass of my own off the ground" as she spoke to her there would be no sign of her ego in her voice rather a more concerned tone,crossing her arms she'd look to her for a moment before letting her attention slightly change to Cappy,lowering her gaze she'd think to herself ~{.....she feels like those detestable angels..though..it would be fool hardy of me to confront her with just an assumption...}~

Kaoru would walk a bit closer to Kneesocks, her head tilting a bit. Hm. Why did she lower her gaze? "Are you alright?" She asked softly. Maybe Kneesocks wasn't feeling too well? The air got a little chillier, after all.

She'd remain silent for a while,her gaze still locked on cappy,give or take a minute or two she'd finally look to kao and nod slowly"...I'm fine"

Belt narrowed her eyes at Kneesocks her tone sounding quite concerned. But it was hard to believe for some obvious reason. 'Says the demon who could not defeat Panty and Stocking...' Belt thought staring at Kneesocks for a while. Don't get Belt wrong, she did respect Kneesocks but she was very edgy on people thinking she couldn't protect herself. Tilting her head Belt crossed her arms behind her back. "Same here." She said in a concering voice. Though she wasn't very concerning. Belt looked over at Cappy when the nurse looked over there. The girl did have an odd...feeling about her but even if she was an angel, it wouldn't matter to Belt.

Kaoru smiled in relief, when Kneesocks answered her. Folding her hands behind her back, her cowlick twitched, as she thought of something to say...
"Would you like to sit again? I was enjoying that conversation we were having before~" It felt nice, being able to talk about her line of work with someone who took genuine interest. Admittedly, it made her little heart swell a bit.

A vein would pop her head as she began to think one each and every aggravating attempt,slowly her fist would clench tight to the point of blood trickling down between her fingers,trying her best to calm down she'd look to towards belt,her calm demeanor changed to a more blood thirsty feel"...if you think you can kill those -insert vulgar curse word here- angels then by all means...I'm quite sure father wouldn't mind a limb or two missing..."opening her fist she'd reach up and put her hair back up in her usual way"..if you'll excuse me..there are pressing matters i must attend to"turning towards kao she'd pat her head"...maybe some other time"walking away she'd go right past belt and softly whisper so that she'd only hear"..the other one...keep an eye on her..."proceeding on she'd continue walking till she was out of sight
[and that will be my final post till i wake up = u =;;; don't mean to cut short but...real tired X3 ' ' do rather like your Belt OC great work ^ ^]

 Cappy fixed her hat, and walked over to Kaoru. "H-Hello again." She knew Kneesock and Belt were on to her, but her act shouldn't be to easy to see through. "They're pretty clever... but no matter, as long as there aren't any ghosts today I should be fine." She though to herself.

Belt's composure stayed the same as Kneesocks seemed to be quite angry now. Oh my, what vulgar language...she wasn't sure if Kneesocks would say such a word. Belt watched as Kneesocks said that she had to be somewhere else. But she did whisper to Belt that she would need to watch out for the one weird girl over near Garterbelt. "Okay..." Belt said thinking she might as well do as Kneesocks asked. Even though her job was to destroy Panty and Stocking, not looking after a different angel. As Kneesocks left she looked at Kaoru wondering if the girl still wanted to talk. "Ah....hello. Hmm...do you like Scarf's shop?" Belt asked Kaoru thinking she must talk abotu something. As soon as she said that though the one girl from before came over and said hi. Belt looked at her for a moment and sighed with an annoyed tone. She did not want to look after her.

Kaoru would nod to Kneesocks, and watch her walk away. Perhaps another time, they could talk again! A smile formed on her face--Kneesocks had patted her head. It was a nice feeling! When Belt approached her, the nurse looked to the other demon girl, and grinned. "I sure do! The truffles are amazing! It's hard to find high quality treats anywhere...but this city is really lucky!"
When she had answered Belt, Cappy came over, and Kaoru turned to her. "Hello, Cappy! Been a little while, ne?" The nurse giggled,s eeing how Cappy was as shy as ever.

"It sure h-has. H-How have you been?" She looked over to Belt, and glared under her hat, making sure not to be seen. She then took her hat off, and fixed her messy ponytail.

"I've been great~! How about you, hm?" Kaoru smiled, and felt tension once again. Aware of it between Cappy and Belt, but she chose to verbally ignore it.
" Get any more sweets lately?" Kaoru asked, with a playful grin.

Cappy reached into her pocket and brought out a hand full of the taffies from Scarf's shop. "Yep!" She giggled. "I can't seem to get enough of these things..." She offered one to Kaoru as she popped one into her mouth.

Belt stayed silent just watching the two. She didn't really want to go into their conversation they were having. Truthfully, Belt would rather talk to Scarf, at least he was interesting to talk to. Trying to get a smile out of that guy was a challange, for her at least. Though Belt likes challanges. But her challange right now was to keep an eye out for this pony-tailed little girl. Why her? They girl didn't even offer her a treat...how rude!

Of course! Kaoru knew that Cappy would have a pocket full of treats, and those taffies were proof. Mmm, they looked so darn good! When she was offered one, she would take it, and unwrap it, putting it into her mouth.
"Mm! This is good!!" It made her cowlick twitch slightly, and curl. Looking to Belt, she'd smile. " Ne, do you like taffies?" She asked, kinda feeling bad that belt got left out there for a bit.
