When all the students were done, Rain pocketed the d100 and looked at her notes. "It appears that the highest roll was an 88 by Tahki and the lowest roll was an 8 by Siddie. Huh, that's so weird. I wonder if my die is possessed by the number 8?" Rain pulled it back out and shook it. Was it broken? "Congrats Siddie and Tahki! Let me get those silver pumpkin seeds for you. I know I have them somewhere. Now where did I put them..." She searched her pockets for them but to no avail. "Oh, that's right, how silly of me!" Fishing in the bandages of her left arm, she pulled out two shiny silver pumpkin seeds. ----- goes to Prolixity and Chobi_Chocobo!

"Do numbers possess things? Huh." Siddie looked thoughtful for a moment. Then Rain handed her a pumpkin seed, and she grinned and accepted it. "Thank you so much!"

She was starting to suspect that she was cursed.
This was yet another thing she was somewhat-but-not-really late for! The small Vetala shuffled slowly into the room just as a game was ending! Oh well, it happened. Instead of whining over lost events, she stared at the crowd that had formed, recognizing a handful of people - both friends and class acquaintances - and wondered where to go from there...and more specifically, who to go to!
There was Israfel, but he was talking to someone so he was out...that left Tahki and Lucien. Of the two, Lucien seemed to be the one who wasn't busy, but past experiences told her that he made her head hurt more often than not...though he did always make it better after! Still, Tahki was her best friend! Oh the dilemma!
By the time she made her decision she was twisting her hair so tightly with her reversed hands that it was practically a coil right up to her scalp. When she let it go to wander over to Lucien first, the coil dropped pretty quickly, but left a telling curl.
"Umm...Hi?" Amrita murmured to her ghost friend, tapping on his arm to get his attention.

Lucien was rather disappointed that he didn't get to take a shiny silver pumpkin seed to the bank later... but he'd get over it and move on eventually. He'd be able to grow his collection of seeds that he had stored away in the bank, he would survive without that one silver seed he missed out on getting. His thoughts were consumed with the thought of pumpkin seeds until finally something grabbed his attention... well, his arm.
He found himself snapping out of his silver seed daze and he turned around to find out what he grabbed him. He didn't see anything at first... until he looked down and seed a head of black hair. He recognized this head, it was that small creature he met at the maul and had an adventure with. Good times, good times. He smiled down at her, floating contently. He thought on it quickly, and finally her name dawned on him.
"Greetings Amrita," he said, pleased he was able to remember her name. "What brings you here?"

Tahki's face lit up. She won something? The gryphon almost hugged Rain but didn't being so self conscience. In stead she gave the undead girl a big warm grin.
"Thank you so much Rain." She pocketed the seed for later and turned her attention to Siddie, "You did great. Congratulations on winning as well," Tahki flashed the shadow girl a warm smile as well. Those were rare coming from Tahki. Usually her smiles were quite awkward and uncomfortable.
Then in the back ground of it all Amrita came into view. Her best ghoul friend was accompanied by a ghost boil she'd never seen. Tahki smiled at the pair and found her self wandering over toward the two of them. Tahkis arm was extended in a friendly wave.
"H-hey Amrita !" She greeted her friend first before turning to Lucian. "H-Hi." Tahki felt awkward not knowing the boys name. But if Amrita seemed to be able to get along with him then Tahki was sure that he was a good person.

The she-wolf smiled at the gryphon. "Pleasure to meet you Tahki." She said quietly before blinking and moving off towards one of the walls. The one ghoul, Rain, was announcing a game of sorts. LW wasn't sure if she wanted to jump in just yet or not. Brows creasing slightly, she decided to stand against the wall and watch the other students. That big red tail of hers lightly wrapped around her legs while violet eyes calmly took in everyone and everything.
She was up to three names of ghouls now! How many more creatures could she meet before the end of this little party? The she-wolf was determined to find out.

Nuk narrowed his glowing gold eyes in Sammy's direction, shifting a little from behind the pricolici to stand beside her, his arm still around her mid-back to keep her upright. Shehk's attempts to knock him over were, of course, uneffective -- being a Bloodball player, he couldn't afford to be scraggly in any way. Not only would it lead to the rest of the team ruthlessly humiliating him in awful, horrible ways (like he'd allow THAT though,) it'd also end up getting him killed. And then he'd be an undead skinwalker.
Then again... undead skinwalker meant being transfered to the undead dorm...
"Hello Zombie, go crawl back into the dirt where you belong," Nuk replied sarcastically, nearly completely at odds with the toothy, slightly devious grin curling the corners of his mouth. Turning to face Shehk for half a second, he held her shoulders and released them slowly before half tackling Sammy, grabbing her around the neck with one arm and snatching off her army-hat with the other, noogie-ing the poor zombie-girl vigorously. He couldn't keep up pretenses for long -- with Sammy as his Famine, it was hard for the skinwalker to pretend he didn't trust and like her, although he did his best. Especially when she seemed to always be stealing away his girlfriend** for 'girl time.'
"You're just complimenting me so I'll let you go," Nuk smirked, although he did finally release his friend, shoving her hat back down onto her head and pushing the brim down over her eyes, "Luckily for you, I have to 'mingle' or something like that. You know, make other students feel 'welcome.'" He made air quotes around the word welcome, rolling his eyes, still wearing that same smirk. "I'll catch up with you guys later. Unless you want to come help me~"
Laughing under his breath, he didn't wait for their reply, not really expecting them to follow. Instead, he meandered over to where people had been rolling the die for a chance at a silver pumpkin seed, his eyes drifting over the forms of Alcyone and Igneous, leaning up against the table they had used to roll. They seemed to not be too tied into conversation as of yet -- a perfect opportunity to be 'friendly.' Or try, anyway.
"Having fun?"
His voice, however, came across more as creepy than friendly, unfortunately.

fa;skld. Shehk had to regain her footing a bit when Nukpana moved, her ears flattening back a bit (was she protesting the move? Nah, it had to be that arm around her still. Clearly.). Yeah, planting herself on the floor probably would have turned up horrible. Then again, it probably would have made the skinwalker feel bad to let it happen.
"Try to not creep 'em out." Shehk said as the skinwalker took his leave, offering him only a half-wave to take his leave by. Hey, if he wanted to go chat up OTHER GIRLS, she wasn't going to be offended. In fact, she soon seemed contented to just link arms with 'girlfriend stealer'.
"Well, who should we go harass next?" she inquired, looking between Rain and Kasumi. She hadn't even SEEN G or Chuppi yet. So that was pretty much their options there...
and to be honest, Shehk was inclined to go chat up Rain.

Igneous watched the crowd from her safe spot along the wall. She didn't see either Tess or Lizzy here or any of the other students she was familiar with and the stone girl was feeling distinctively out of place.
She did recognize some of the other participants from the band competitions. Perhaps some of them would be friendly? But what if they weren't? She hated not knowing what to do! It was enough to make her want to go back to her room and the safety it offered.
She wasn't sure at first if Nukpana was talking to her. She had never met him before though she had seen him around the campus - and he had won one of the student council positions! She looked around to see if there was someone else he could have been talking to instead, but no, it must have been her.
"It's OK," she answered. Her feathers were slicked tight on her wings at the sound of his voice. She wasn't exactly afraid of him but she was a little nervous. "There's a lot of beings here that I haven't met yet. I'm Igneous, by the way."

Calder wasn't sure what he thought of the student council. While very glad that some of his friends had made it to official titles as they had wanted, he wasn't as thrilled to find that Nuk had managed to also slip his way into the council as well. It was just another piece of the image that the kelpie had for him, being the power-hungry, dodgy-looking creeper out to trick women – namely Shehk. But a party was a party and he never liked being left out.
Slipping in, he lingered by the door, looking about for any sign of his friends and slowly moving in more, navigating around the outside of the groups as he tried to find a place to stand.

Nuk's smirk broadened when he noticed Igneous look over her shoulder, clearly amused that she would think he wasn't talking to her. In all honesty it didn't surprise him -- he normally wasn't the most inclusive person ever, and he knew there were a great many students who were more than shocked that he'd signed up to be the PUBLIC RELATIONS guy, let alone signed up to campaign for a student council position at all. A bully like him in the PR position? It was almost hilarious. Along with Tristan, he was one of the least-personable students he knew. Still, seeing the living-statue look surprised and check if he was really talking to her was a rather cute sight, actually, (something he'd never ever admit to thinking,) and for the moment he merely watched her, waiting with remarkable patience and somehow managing to not say something along the lines of "Yes, I was talking to you." He could see how nervous she was, something probably not aided by his image in general... it likely wouldn't help to be sarcastic. He really was trying to be friendly. Honest.
"Nukpana," he offered, lifting his glowing amber eyes to the rest of those meandering around the room before returning to Igneous, unworried and still clearly amused, "I wouldn't worry too much about that, it looks like you're not alone." Resting an arm on her shoulder, he motioned in Shehk and Sammy's direction, "Though if you're lookin for friendly, those guys are too nice for their own good. Talkative too. Dunno if you like that sort of thing. At any rate, relax, have some... fun..."
His voice drifted off as he noticed a certain white-haired Pony-boy enter the room, laughing a little to himself as he noticed how Calder was looking around so suspiciously. Oh this was too good to pass up. He could possibly tease him and include him in the party. Smirking deviously, Nuk patted Igneous' shoulder, holding up a finger as if telling her to wait.
"Excuse me, I will be right back."
Crossing the room, it took a certain bit of skill to creep up behind Calder, hoping he wasn't spotted before he could wrap an arm around his shoulder and try to herd him (get it?!) back towards where Igneous was standing. Hey, he was trying to be inclusive. That was his story and he was sticking to it.
"Hey Calder~"
Even his voice sounded suspicious as he grabbed the white-haired boy around the shoulders, urging him towards the little group he was (forcefully) trying to create, "Come join the party. Relax. Have fun. Stop being so antisocial~"
(THIS IS A WARNING -- ANYONE WHO DOESN'T START TALKIN TO OTHER PEOPLE GETS NUK FORCEFULLY HERDING THEM INTO HIS GROUP ;D Incentive~)

Any person acquainted with horses would warn that you never approached them from behind, and while Calder didn't have any hooves at the moment to hike up and kick into Nuk's groin (which would have probably earned him a few cheers from the ladies), he did tense up and his ears shot straight up and then flat on his head. He could have forgiven anyone for being ignorant on the proper way to approach him, but when his swamp-green eyes settled on the face of the skinwalker, he decided that he didn't feel like doing that for someone like him. In fact, he downright felt Nuk moved up from behind him on purpose.
"Nuk." His tone short as he looked around for someone he knew that he could find reason to excuse himself and leave. It didn't help that his friends were now officials of the student council and were busy with other people. There was also the fact that his friend Chuppi was hard to spot, making it nearly impossible to find a reason just to leave and not look like a dork hanging by the punch bowl – which he had been doing until Nukapana came to trap him in a one-arm embrace.
When he noticed he was being lead somewhere, he jerked to attention and looked around, wondering what was going on. "I was trying to enjoy myself until you... - Wait? Where are we going?" He didn't know if he was going to be lead out the door or into some hole in the ground. He clearly didn't trust Nuk, and he kept his eyes on him. How he got his Public Relations position, he could only guess. Probably bribes. Yes, bribes – and blackmail.

..... :/
Shehk took a moment to unlink arms from Sammy as quickly as she HAD linked them up, rolling her eyes before crossing the room to attempt her own harassment upon the skinwalker who was dealing it out upon everybody else. Though her harassment probably wouldn't be as effective as it could have been. She certainly would have been more susceptible to it if it had been dealt upon her.
JUMPSTART!!
Or at least she attempted such a powerful grab upon the skinwalker, her ears flattening back as she leaned against his back and rested her head on his shoulder.
"Do I need to protect everybody from you, Nukpana?" she inquired with a frown. "Are you picking on Calder?"

Israfel's eyes noticed the kelpie from some distance. After a time, the Siren had begun to keep and eye out for his fashion...less fortunate friend. Calder would be a pet project for the Siren. The boy had a amazing complexion and such wonderful locks. It was always a shame to see him in rags with twigs in his hair. Well, mane and tail to be fully accurate. Before he could go to his friend, he saw one skin walker take him from behind. It was just like Nuk, always going in from behind. Pouting a bit, Israfel huffed. "Oh Yaya, Excuse me for one moment." Grabbing a cup of punch, he offered one glass to Yaya, as well as a refill for himself. It was only polite to serve someone before taking a refil or leaving, even for a short moment.
"If it wasn't for skullface on skullface action Mr. Nuk-PANNUH". Yes, the siren was butchering the name as he approached. "I would not have approved of your running." He gave Calder a smile before turning back to the skinwalker. "But as it stands, the peopled wanted action." Israfel gave Shehk a smile as well. "I hope the action was good."
A small tug on Calder. "Do you want to join me and Yaya for snacks and punch? I think they have lady fingers, but, I'm not sure."

Well, that wasn't too bad. It almost seemed as if he was trying to be nice to her, something that was not what she had expected of the skinwalker. While she hadn't met him herself she had heard rumors of his treatment of some of the other students.
He had told her to wait and waiting was something that the former statue was good at. If there had been a competition in waiting she certainly would have been a champion at it! After all, she had stood patiently in a cemetery for centuries waiting to come to life hadn't she?
She resumed her spot watching the other students interact with each other. She was fascinated by the way some of them acted one way when some people were around yet totally different when others were. Was this something that was unique to students or did adults also play this game?
