Sh moved along side him. Her familiar, having trouble keeping up jumped, and landed on the mirror, which was now flying level to the ground along side them. With a small trill of laughter, the raccoon stood and "surfed" the mirror. Mary grinned and brought it circling around them. Could they keep running at this speed, without crashing into it? Could she keep it orbiting them even as they moved? FUN!

Hyde seemed to share little enthusiasm for Mary's antics, and less for that of the raccoon's. He seemed focused, driven as he pounded the ground, his head swaying from side to side, occasionally slowing just a touch to smell the wind. And then, finally, there was a flash in his eyes and the manic smile that seemed to threaten to pull his face apart.
The scent was close, and a moment later, he had broken through the treeline of a tiny settlement of two-legs. A closely nestled group of lean-to's huddled around a fire.
"Perfect!" Hyde roared as he galloped towards them.

Mary gasped as she saw the structures. The mirror wobbled and stopped. Never before had she seen a human settlement. What...was this odd place? Or these peculiar smells? But... Hyde was charging ahead.... so... She steeled herself, reminded herself that Gods and Goddesses were immortal, then ran up behind him, intending to join in the fun. Whatever it was he had planned.
Taphos... was less convinced. Looking for a place to hide, she ran into one of the lean-tos.

All of the pent up frustration. All of the seething, unreleased vendetta that Hyde still had remaining from his time across the seas... before Jekyll put them on that boat and severed him from those that he still intended on introducing to his hooves.... Hyde visited on the tiny village.
Shouts and yells - first of confusion, then of anger and fear arose as he plowed into the settlement, hooves flying and eyes rolling. With a sledgehammer-like kick, he knocked over the flimsy lean-to's. With a rearing, pawing, he tore down supporting ropes and sticks.
It was all so wonderful. These were homes, and yet they were homes that he could tear apart. Not like the stone and metal structures of his homeland.
Hyde was like a force of nature.

She laughed as she heard the destruction, and the despair of the pitiful flimsy two-leggers. She joined in with abandon, kicking and pulling anything she could lay hooves or teeth into. This was what Gods and Goddesses did, right? This was how they showed that they despised those too lowly ever to be their children. This was how they blew off steam. She let her rage at everyone who had balked her, taunted her, denied her channel through her temper. And she destroyed. Along side the male who had so caught up her attention, she helped cause chaos and fear. It was good... being a Goddess. It was delicious. And so was he.
