"Well then, that's better." Roxanna grinned and turned to wait for him to lead the way. After all, she didn't know where his mother was. She only knew the general area her own family would be in. She wasn't a mind reader after all. "Very simple to prove, if you're right."

"I am," he insisted, sulkily. He started leading her through the trees, happily pouncing in puddles as he saw him. After all, there was no reason not to have a little bit of fun while they sought out his mother.

Alas, they were never to meet up with his mother. Instead, Roxanna heard a weird sound and suddenly stopped walking. She tilted her head to the left, and stared off toward the edge of the area they were standing in. She fluffed her wings out, and walked that way, trying to place the sound. It was like something small and fast rustling through the tall grass! But what was it?
"What's that running through the grass?"

Denji paused to stare at the strange filly. "I didn't see anything." He peered into the grass, trying to see whatever had distracted her.
