henrytownshend4235 byakuya senkai Well no info on when the movie is coming out or much more but I did manage to find some information that has been released and put up on the Silent Hill Wiki. Here it is for anyone who is interested.... 3nodding The siren will be heard in the movie almost certainly. ■Robbie the Rabbit will be featured in the movie with many little Robbie the Rabbit dolls that have been spotted by fans at the set of Lakeside Amusement Park. ■ Pyramid Head has also been spotted, possibly at Lakeside Amusement Park turning valves. ■ Heather Marks is playing an all-new character named Suki. ■ The Nurses will return. ■ Valtiel seems to appear as a statue. ■Adelaide Clemens was seen with a black wig and heavy makeup, suggesting she will also play an older version of Dark Alessa, or Memory of Alessa. ■The Cult from the first movie will only be seen in flashbacks. The film will focus on their rival cult, the Order. Hmm, I feel a few rather estranged feelings towards this. For one, it certainly should not be Pyramid Head turning the valves, but rather Valtiel... and while it is certainly possible those who witnessed this misunderstood, because Pyramid Head is said to closely resemble Valtiel... and in all honesty, his body shape in the 2nd game does resemble the body shape of valtiel... If Valtiel is merely a statue, I would be concerned to find what role he truly plays in the new movie. Not only that, but I would wonder as well what their perception of Valtiel looks like. Umm other than that, I am pleased to see the Robbie dolls, and I am also extremely psyched to see The Order twisted Sorry if you get any weird notices Henry at first I hit edit instead of quote but everything is back to normal now anyway.... I hope that Pyramid Head plays a larger role than just turning a valve if he is kept. Alot of this stuff is just info that has been released or bystanders saw so it's incomplete. And by play a larger role I mean serve a purpose other than turning a valve like in the first movie where he served as Alessa's anger and punishment for the cult (though everyone says it was just a fan apperance *sigh*) As for Valtiel maybe he'll play a role as a sort of demi-god or angel to the order in the film. I'm just assuming but considering Leonard is sitting in a throne in the shape of valtiel it's the best I've got for assumptions as of now. I do hope he makes an appearance though as he is one of my favorite monsters. I like him more than Pyramid Head in all honesty since he is the angel sent to ensure Gods revival and all you see is him throughout Silent Hill 3 just watching you and going about with his business. He is a truly mysterious monster to me even when I know his purpose. Some stuff I am a little concerned but also excited about if it is executed well is this new character Suki and what role they will play along with Leonard appearing as a human instead of a monster or appearing as one to Heather.

Well my major concern with Pyramid Head turning valves is that it completely devalues what his true purpose is, and that is to serve punishment. Unless the valve is activating a pit of boiling lava to decimate someone, it could really damage some serious structure... one would almost have to believe pyramid head is further complex than already imagined, and that he plays more roles than that of his previous incarnations.
Valtiel SHOULD appear as an Angel, because he is one to The Order. So if that is what they depict him as in the movie, clearly they are on some sort of track.
And I'm honestly glad you recognize pyramid head's true function in the last movie. I agree, only irrational people would deem him simply fan fodder. Silent Hill, movie or game, is never that simple.... stressed

byakuya senkai So recently online the new Silent Hill movie was officially announced! The film will be titled Silent Hill: Revelations and will most likely follow the basic plot of Silent Hill 3 since the main character is Heather Mason. The original team who worked on the first film is said to return with a new director since the director of the first film is in prison. I won't put a link since there is no official trailer or sight yet but considering the amount of info I know it's true. You guys will just have to look iy up for yourselves! Haha sorry. sweatdrop Sweetness. Now that u mention the movie, I want to watch the first one. I watched it for the first time when I was 11...with my extremely christian and hates violent video games mother. So needless to say she wasn't too happy about it. (That's actually how I got started with SH. I was a very sheltered kid. I didn't even have an actuall video game system until 2000 when I got an n64. I as stuck with that until three yrs ago when I got my ps2.being poor sucks)

Because that was the most brilliant scene ever in my oppinion! twisted yup that was the exact scene I was talking about. But she's like fifty know and has a bad memory....so she didn't make the connection when I bought sh 2 the other day. I found it scary....but I was 11. Going on 20 id prolly like it. Bu I haven't seen it since then. So my memory of it is there but vaguely. That movie made me love ph. I was like omg that is the coolest thing I've ever seen!

Hahaha the movie played a huge part in my interest in the deeper levels of silent hill... I always used to look for facts and trivia, but when the movie came out, there were a lot of questions people had about certain canon aspects.... I was instantly inspired to start shredding every game and movie to pieces for every single tiny clue, info, trivia, and detail.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who sometimes just randomly puts in the DVD and watches that scene over and over somedays? twisted The cult leaders slow agonizing death amuses me! twisted I hope to see another great one with Claudia in the new film twisted Oh trust me, not only that scene, but I could never get enough of the movie.... sometimes I feel like the movie was never granted the true credit it deserved. In fact, I think 80% of the people who saw it, and were silent hill fans, were pre-programmed to think the movie was junk right off the bat because it was not picture perfect to the 1st game. That simply will never do. i dont want any movie based on a game to be exactly like the game, otherwise I'd jsut watch someone else play it. But I will say when that church scene happened for the first time, I remember yelling out "Take that you son of a b***h! Thats exactly what you get!" It was just the perfect build up to the ultimate revenge scene.

Oh I look forward to the movie, The silent hill movie while it differentiated from
the original game was wonderful and by far my favorite movie of all time. The only thing that got me was the ending, how where Cheryl and Rose are still stuck in the other world? I wanna know how the second movie if it continues from the first tie in that whole mess. I was rather disappointed with that ending.

Oh I look forward to the movie, The silent hill movie while it differentiated from
the original game was wonderful and by far my favorite movie of all time. The only thing that got me was the ending, how where Cheryl and Rose are still stuck in the other world? I wanna know how the second movie if it continues from the first tie in that whole mess. I was rather disappointed with that ending.
I'm becoming Insane. as far as I can tell, perhaps it is possible that Rose, after being tainted with Alessa as a vessel was sort of trapped in that world.... and even more possible is that when she was stabbed to release Alessa into the church, it's possible still that Rose actually died there, but only in the real world. It was a complex ending, and I'd be interested now that you mention it to watch the movie again and scan for clues.

So.... I didn't know Sean Bean was going to be in the new movie twisted That made me happy to find out blaugh I love him in every movie I have ever seen, and so that might pose an additional bonus to the overall turnout of the movie 3nodding
Also, the way they mention that her identity and her origins are determined to be false, and that Harry is in it, almost leads to believe that maybe when she enters silent hill she discoveres that Harry is her true father, much like it was supposed to be. It's certainly a nice twist if its true, and I'll love to see it. Looking at the overall cast of people for the movie, I think they did a relatively good job matching people up for their roles.

I think it was on the Silent Hill Wiki page for the film I am going to be slightly confused as to what important part Rose could play, and even more so the statement that Dahlia will be in this one again when she wasn't in the 3rd... so I think overall whatever they have planned is really starting to get the gears turnin in my head for theories xd

shouldn't the next movie maybe make sense of the end of the first one?
i would be more excited if they weren't using the game storyline and characters, that's where the resident evil movies went wrong after the first one as well.

Im going to try to forget the games while I watch the movie when it comes out. Don't really think i could stand it much otherwise.
