"Well that's a relief!" He sighed enthuisiastically. He stretched back his neck into an awkward to position to get a better look at the filly. With a raised eyebrow he asked "Did you say what you were doing here?" Though he wasn't but a bit larger than she he added "A lovely little lady like yourself shouldn't be roaming these woods by herself."

She smiled softly and nodded, "Yeah... it's good to be out of there." She added, her red tail flicking lightly as the colt stretched his neck. At his question, she started to feel a little embarrassed at the fact that she was lost. His last comment made her blush, but also made her a little more forlorn. It sounded like something her father would say when talking to a mare. Kicking the ground softly, she mumbled gently. "... I'm lost."

"Oh, I'm terribly sorry Ms. Kihaku, may I be of assistance?" the well mannered foal smiled politely, with a hint of playfulness that he strained to hide. "I'm the keeper of these woods!" he boomed with mock seriousness "I can help you find your way!" But in all actuality he was in a way the keeper of the woods. He knew all the paths in the region that he stayed like the back of his hoof. After all he had been living there by himself for quite some time . . .

Kihaku perked up hopefully when he offered to help her. The keeper of the woods title caused her to quirk a brow, as if silenly asking, 'Really?' but if it meant she can find her way to the meadow or to her father, she will take anything. "Oh... I sure hope you can. I was separated from my Daddy when we were attacked by wolves and I don't know where I am. If I can find him or the meadow... I-I would be so happy." She said, her voice trembling softly as tears started to well in her eyes.
