Her scream was cut short and agonized...but Sailor Alcyone...sorry, SUPER sailor Alcyone, could perhaps never understand what she faced. Perhaps it wasn't in them to understand what they faced, or it might have made it harder to continue the war the way some of them had... they were after all students first only later becoming sailors and soldiers.
They fought their classmates, and what high schooler ever really 'understood', if they did, perhaps suicide and homicide would not make the news quite so often.
Lieutenant Moonstone prayed that bolt would kill her, she just couldn't admit it to herself because she was human, because she was afraid...
She was also unfortunate, the only oblivion that claimed her was unconsciousness...

Just as soon as the lightning struck its target, did the rain suddenly halt. Any trace of clouds had dissipated back into the humid air, and lieutenant Moonstone lay in a heap on top of wet and slippery concrete. Alcyone nearly fell from a sudden light-headedness and a different kind of shock: never before had she been able to strike with electricity.
Her shoulders grew heavy and slowly, she was beginning to feel every bruise and scratch from the fight. Her neck was swollen and tender to the touch, and any amount of energy that she had felt before the storm had been cleanly drained from her. It was a struggle to stay standing, but she knew that if she succumbed to lying down, she would not be getting back up any time soon.
To distract herself from her pain and exhaustion, she limped to Moonstone's body to assess the damage she'd done. The lieutenant was not yet dead -- her breathing was shallow and widely spaced, but breathing none-the-less, and very much alive. Her face was still streaked with blood. Alcyone's blood. Her victim's blood. Maybe even a little bit of her own, though the super senshi of storms couldn't recall drawing any from her.
Looking into that blood-smeared face caused a deep loathing to simmer within Alcyone. How could anyone who claims they don't want to be apart of the Negaverse do such a thing to a person? The corpse, unmoved and still a few feet away from her, had no recognizable facial features. The kind of violence that would do such a thing could only belong to a monster, void of any empathy and mercy.
Monsters such as those should not be allowed to live, lest they kill again.
Alcyone stood right above her, her hatred boiling hot. It would be easy to break her neck with a swift stomp from the back of her heel.
Between her temples throbbed the beginning of a migraine. Her hand reached up and rubbed at her forehead, unsure of what to do.

It was done, it was over.
The lightning bolt struck its target point blank.. the body of the broken negaverser cold on the wet pavement, not moving. Was she dead? The deed done? Was the Negaverser alive? While faint... a slight dark aura was still pouring out of the girls pores. Shame really, this negaverser once was a girl...normal, naive, human.
Alive.
"Shes not worth it." Chloe said suddenly standing next to the senshi. From all the hurt Alcyone ahd been through tonight... she did not need more blood on her hands. "Your last attack... shes dying anyways." Chloe really did believe this... her power sugnature was so low, it was a miricle she was not dead yet. "It would be a small miricle if she survives... and even if she did? She would have lasting trauma... That lightning bolt would have fried her system." Chloe placed a paw on the senshis boot, looking up at her. "Lets go."
