Damn, the Vegetarian role is overpowered as hell.
It's like a symp, except the Mafia is in contact with them. Oi. That's got to be our first priority.

I don't think the Vegetarian role is overpowered. I mean, not at first, only if the actual mob boss dies, because then it'll be really tricky finding them. ...What's a symp?
I think what'll be hardest for us will be the Cranberry Sauce and Santa. We can't lynch the Jester or he'll win solo, and we plain can't lynch Santa. Mafia'll have to get the serial killer before we can win. We don't have a vigilante on our side, right? Thank goodness for turkeys. biggrin

Sympathizer. They turn up innocent when investigated. That's a threat, no matter what, ESPECIALLY if they can communicate with the mafia (which usually doesn't happen.)

The Symp, in games I've played, count towards the mafia voting block, but comes up as innocent. They know who the mafia from the outset, but the mafia is not aware of who their Symp is.

The mafia are not told each other's roles Allegro, who said they were?
Do people run games that way? I only ever tell the mafia who their fellow mafia members are and not what any of their roles are except their own.

@Dess: Oop, what? I didn't say anything! *wishes she could delete posts* lol

They're told their roles, and the names of the other mafia, but not the symp.

So the mafia would have to kill the Symp hiding in their group before they can win, right? Or am I totally missing the point here?

Allegro They're told their roles, and the names of the other mafia, but not the symp. Okay...let me see if I understand what you mean.
The mafia is told who every mafia member is, including the symp, but not that that person is the symp.

Allegro is using the word "symp" which we never use. The Vegetarian is just like any spy in any other game, and I just checked our archives and every game with a spy had it be Mafia. I don't know why Allegro is saying "symp."
