Bio Grew up on the small, volcanic island known as Cinnabar. He occasionally pestered Blaine, the gym leader, as a small child. Personality: Nami is rather very much like a two sided coin, or even perhaps the ocean itself. On one side she can be rather caring towards her pokemon, though oddly enough she reserves it for only her pokemon instead of with humans as well. Having grown up in rather strict conditions, Nami has grown accustomed to what is known as "tough love" and frequently expresses it even to her pokemon, only one pokemon has escaped such treatment which would be her first starter pokemon. There are only a few times where she will lavish all her attention and emotions on her pokemon but even those are rare. Aside from her love and affection towards pokemon alone, she can be rather cold and blunt. Especially when assigned a mission, which is the top of her priorities, completion and top marks are a must. However overall a silent type of disposition dominates the majority of her personality, only speaking when needed to. She does have a weak spot for pokemon contests however.
Bio In a rather sad string of events Nami was born. Though born near the sparkling shores of the warm sea her childhood was a rather sad one. Her father was a pokemon smuggler and her mther a hopeless drug addict. It was almost strange not to see either two of the horrors that she faced every day, being the cruel treatment of the pokemon that her father captured or the violent ravings that her mother frequently went on. School however saved her for six blissful hours but when she got home again it was the same thing over. Every few nights where her father would get drunk off of alcohol, she would often tend to the wounds of the captured animals and even feed them. This went on for a number of years until one night she was caught red handed. Her father, enraged that her very own daughter was taking care of these pokemon, beat her until she was nearly unable to walk. From there on she was forced to watch as her "friends" (the pokemon) being abused, any sign of sympathy would result in a smart slap to the cheek or even worse a beating. Time passed and Nami hardened her heart but never completely sealed it away. It was during a period when she could not even bear to live any longer did she throw herself on the sandy shores, ready to drown herself until...a strange egg came to be. Washing along side her feet she had picked up the rather clear oval like embreo. It began to glow, as the light died down the egg reveled itse;f to be a newly hatched Manaphy. On first sight it had imprinted Nami as it's mother. Determined to keep the young babe away from the harmful influence of her father, whom was still in the smuggling business, she made use of the lowly connections her father had to get a good enough reputation that in which the school graciously extended it's invitation to her. Now in hopes that she may lead a sucessful career whislist caring/protecting the little blue bundle of joy she hurridly packed her bags in the middle of the night and left, bidding farewell to her parents. Little did her father know, just before she left she released all of the pokemon he had managed to steal...

Description: Mariah has medium brown hair which looks kinda messy, mostly because she doesn't brush it often. her bangs cover her left eye and she always wears loose or sleeveless shirts (coming from a place where it always snowed, its pretty warm for her here) and jeans, weather they are shorts or pants (never capris). sometimes she will wear a loose tie, any tie, even with a shirt that has no collar. but she always has her skull cap on, its like she never takes it off.

Personality: Mariah is very bold and outgoing, not shy or timid. she's fun to be around and very calm and easygoing. abit of a rebel, she's got an anarchist attitude and can be semi-barbaric at times. she can be very curious at times and even small things will interest and take up her attention for a long time. she will be lazy whenever possible, so dont expect her to get work done quickly because she will procrastinate. but even with her procrastination she always gets the job done and will live up to your expectations. on the outside she doesnt look like it, but she is actually very smart and will sometimes build little machines for herself (though often they're just domino effects that make her room messy because she is to lazy to clean it all up). she is a tomboy and definitely not a girly girl, so she would rather go hang out with the guys and play football in the mud than go with the girls and paint eachothers nails at some kind of sleepover.
Bio Born and raised in Snowpoint, she never knew much of the world beyond her due to the heavy snow and wild pokemon making it hard to travel. one day a man came to stay at her parents inn and abandoned a pokeball, saying in a note that he did not wish to keep it. Mariahs parents were going to ship it out to a daycare because they had no knowladge of what was inside, only that the letter said it had never been released. Mariah refused and released it, revealing the Tropius inside that her parents were forced to keep. their bond grew but she could never train it to fight the pokemon blocking off her route to the other towns, it was near impossible to train a grass type in the snow and the pokemon outside were of a much higher level anyways. an Academy recruiter came to her town one day and stayed at the inn her parents ran, he saw Mariah and her Tropius and decided to give them a chance at the Academy. but her parents were low on funds because of the fact that not many people came to Snowpoint because of the cold, much less stayed at the inn. because of this she has ended up in Treecko class. but hey, she isn't complaining.

Hometown: Well, she was born and initially raised in Lilycove City.
Personality: Considering her parent's rather wild and odd persona, Eirlys seems to be quite mild in comparison. Though whether that is a good thing or not, still stands to be tested.
She, though while stubborn and stands firm for her thoughts and ideas, is taciturn and often voices things in thought and action alone. Like her mother, the young teenager harbors very strong emotions but her facial expressions often speak little of those feelings. From her father, Eirlys has been gifted with a good head on her shoulders("Though is nowhere near 'genius', thank Arceus"--Quote, her mother), quickly gauging situations and imagining scenarios at a speedy rate. At times, she might seem oblivious to certain social norms.
However, Eirlys is quite unsure of who she is at times...She does not know where she falls in the niche of things and struggle to juggle duty and heart and mind--things her folks separately control in their lives with such ease.
Fond of fine art and literature. Especially enjoys sweets.
Bio: Eirlys is the 13-year-old daughter of Moralye(Now age 34-35) and Zavier(Now age 38-37).
She came into their lives just 3 years after these two met under the strangest of circumstances:
On completely opposite ends of the Alignment Pool.
While Zavier, or "Zitchi" as he was more popularly known, willfully worked with a high faction of Team Rocket at a young age as a Head Scientist, performing grueling experiments and knowingly causing hell for most of the Pokemon World in the old days...Moralye completely abhorred the idea of hurting Pokemon or people for fun or monetary profits. Moralye was usually level-headed whom could easily show her side of things while not belittling others while Zitchi...well, Ztichi did whatever he wanted, scaring others with his supposed insanity, and always worked ahead of schedule.
So how did these two end up falling in love and marrying? . . .Hell if I know. They were enemies in the beginning, but somehow the two couldn't help but feel their hearts go all a-flutter around the other...And when the world began to change dramatically into what it is today, they found a solace within each other that could not compare to anything else.
Zitchi mellowed out, stepping down from the major and insane projects he had become infamous for, and Moralye stepped down from her adventuring will and accepted the man in all his...weirdness. It was a clearly strange love, but one so very strong...and that love became their daughter, Eirlys, just three years after they met.
So Eirlys grew up in their loving care, moving a few time due to her father's Rocket work...and much to her chagrin, lived a very unusual childhood with her equally strange folks. Though at times she doesn't understand them, feeling like the only normal person in the household, Eirlys does care for her mother and father dearly.
At the moment, her mother Moralye is on a journey and has not been home for the last 3 years though keeps in constant touch with her daughter and husband.
On her father Zitchi's wish, Eirlys has been enrolled into Akumu Academy...though the path she will take in the end, is all up to her.

--Recovering from Sanctuary--Name: Kayitiana (Kay - tea - Ana) Aves Days at the academy 9 (Or something; I haven't been keeping count) Age: 13 Sex: Female Description: KayHeight: 4' 11" Weight: 74 lbs Hometown: Blackthorn City, Jhoto Personality: She knows when to take charge, or when to shut up and act respectfully. She can change her emotions in a heartbeat depending on the situation, usually. She is a bit of a softy, and does her best to be true to what she says. She acquired a Suicune egg some time after she entered the academy, and has been regretting it ever since. To have a legendary like Suicune is amazing, but, she feels bad about everything that happened to get it, and wishes sometimes she could undo her unthinking behavior. She's been questioning that recently however; and since her entrance at the Academy has become more uncaring towards others, and almost numb to the deaths she causes. Bio Blackthorn City is definitely a changed place. Kay doesn't remember how 'it used to be' but loves the stories. Growing up, she heard all the stories, and loved the legendaries. She also heard stories about her own family, and her monster of a first name. It appeared, before her family settled in Blackthorn, several generations ago, more than anyone can clearly remember, her ultimate grandmother was a pirate, who went by the name Kayitiana. It's been a tradition that the first female child is named after her, though, Kay would have really been happy otherwise. Though honestaly, Kay can't say she minds that much, considering her current goal is to find the Rose Thorn, the original Kayitiana's flag ship. She also seems to have a hatred of flying types, or at least, flying types that look like birds... how irrational this hatred is is unknown for now.. Pokemon: Roserade [F] Name & Level: Shizuka & Lvl 8 Gentle Ability: Natural Cure Stats: HP: 30 PP:37 ATK:18 DEF:14 SPD:21 SP-ATK:27 SP-DEF:26 Moves:Mega Drain, Weather Ball, Pin Missle, Sweet Scent Exp: 240/700 Bio: Kay met Shizuka as a Roselia on her first mission. A partner of a Stantler, now named Faxon, it was being forced to wear a spiked collar, with the spikes turned inwards. Kay and Rikken helped to remove the collar, and Shizuka chose to travel with Kay, while Faxon went with Rikken. At the First Blood tournament, she nearly died, in a battle with a Yanma, and was barely brought back to life. Later, Kay had obtained a Shiny stone, and allowed Shizuka to choose whether to evolve or not. He wears the scar as a badge of pride however, and seems to hold the pokemon in high regard. Though he knows his egg was taken from where he was born, he sees Kay as akin to his mother, even if that fact isn't necessarily true. He's picked up a lot of traits from Kay, but only time will tell if that's a good or bad thing.. It fought Kakera for a short time then... just long enough to keep it distracted for Kay to catch it with her pokeball. It realy isn't happy about that... Pokemon: Pichu [F] Name & Level: Flow &Lvl 9 Docile Stats: Hp: 25/25 Pp: 23 Att: 14 Def: 10 Spd: 18 Sp Att: 14 Sp Def: 14 Moves: Thundershock, Charm, Tail Whip Exp: 346/800 Bio: Inside the base of Silverwind forest, Kay and Rikken met a Pichu and Sandshrew. They at first got into a fight, but, when the Pichu saw that Sandshrew had left it, she asked for her death, in which Shizuka refused to kill another pokemon. Picking up the now scared and injured pokemon, Pichu decided to accompany Kay, showing an amazing amount of loyalty, staying with Kay though she didn't have another pokeball to use. Description: Looking much older than a simple thirteen year old, Spencer hit an early growth spurt and probably towers over most the other students. He prefers loose shirts and tight jeans, minimal accessories and his ever present beret which rarely leaves his head.
He is a natural redhead, freckles and all, and more often then not he'll have long sleeves on to keep from being sunburned despite the heat. His eyes are brown though it's hard to tell behind his glasses which are rather thick-lensed thanks to his horrid eyesight.

Personality:
Spencer is a loser. Yes, that is the best possible term to describe him. Spence is also well aware of the fact and takes his loserdom with pride.
He fumbles his words more often than not, and has been known to throw a bordline tantrum when things don't work out.
His dry, sarcastic sense of humor makes him a very difficult person to get along with.
He's constantly striving to prove himself.
There is always someone watching him, he thinks, waiting for him to slip up.
He's persisten, in a bad way. Even after realizing something can't be done he will CONTINUE to attempt it, and it usual ends just as you'd expect. Badly.
He's clumsy, awkward, constantly tripping over things that do not exist and to make matters even worse he still lives with his parents.
Yeah, you guessed it, in their basement.
This was, of course, before he discovered his love of Pokemon, after finding out that he was still eligible to recieve a starter from the academy he left home immediately.
You wouldn't expect much from the scrawny, ginger kid who constantly battles with gravity, but he's proven people wrong time and again.

He always tries to see someone for who they really are before commenting, but is never too far from smug remarks on other's actions, especially mistakes or brain farts.
