tenigee Kai [In j00r pants] Yes, the music is emotional sometimes, but that's not what it stands for. I know way mroe about the topic of emo music then you do. Obviously. Emo=emotive hardcore. Scene/pop-rock/faux(false) emo (has it is sometimes called)=Emotional and sometimes (or most of the time whiny).
Stereotypes aren't good. Especially when you put them on music. And stop listening to what MTV tells you, and what labels tell you, they know nothing. Yes, Kaier, but the point is: no one gives a ******** class="clear"> The point is, I do, and it's annoying me. I could care less if you don't care, if it's annoying me.

You should go to the mall and find emo kids and give them some sort of pamphlet: "Your Emo is a Lie". And just walk off.

MST3Kakalina What song/band/genre can you absolutely NOT stand? No flaming people for having crappy taste or because they said you have crappy taste. (ie, "No, that band rules, you stupid f**!" or "God anyone that likes polka should jump off a cliff and die." isn't allowed.) Personally, I can't stand Bruce Springsteen, Neil Diamond and Stevie Nicks. I also think HIM and My Chemical Romance are WAY overrated. Also the entire emo genre drives me batty. Rap...... Hip hop.... Ewwwww

Stereotypes aren't good. Especially when you put them on music. And stop listening to what MTV tells you, and what labels tell you, they know nothing. I take both sides in this argument. Emo was once upon a time Emotive Hardcore. That's NOT what it is anymore. All it is now is Emotional pop. At one point, it was Emotive, but Emo is a totally different meaning, now that 90% of teens are emo. ~Proud to be a TRUE metal head~ Also, I like rap that makes me laugh. But it has to make me laugh hard. An example is System of a Down's failed attempts at rap. xd I love comedy music [The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny, Karate, Special Fred], so I am not a total hater of rap. Just "Imza g0nnaz b00stUrz a CAPZOR IN UR AZZ!" rap is what I despise. Serious. I rented that game Bulletproof just to do horrid things to 50 Cent. And horrid things I did! surprised Perhaps most modern emo bands come close to my hate for "GANSTAZZZ0RS" rap, but that idiocy disgrace of music takes the cake.

The one song I can't stand is Take Me Home Tonight. I don't know who sings it, but I really dislike the chorus. They sing so nasaly it grates my nerves.
