Ah, yeah. I have a bit of an obsession with Latin going there. =P I like that sort of creepy demonic thing, and it's always magnified when Latin is involved.

Oh yeah. I don't know what it is about Latin, but it makes everything seem so much more awesome/scary. Japanese also has the same effect one me, but it's mostly awesome. Just walk down the street and go, "HADOKEN!", blowing up a mailbox. A lot better then something like, "BALL OF WHITE ENERGY!"
Anyhow, I'll post another boss soon. Gotta work on the finishing touches to my presentation tomorrow morning.

Ah, yeah. I know what you mean. Studying the languages so thoroughly kind of disables that effect a little, but it doesn't stop me from obsessing. =P I think, interestingly, hadou-ken actually means "undulating fist" in Japanese. -cheats and looks up kanji- Yeah. 波 (wave) + 動 (motion) = hadou (undulation) and 拳 (-ken) is fist. 波動拳 or hadou-ken. The only reason I hyphenate it is because it's not a regular compound, like the first two are. That's just my freaky-deaky method of romanization. So there's your Japanese lesson of the day. =P Also. @ThatzMrOcelot I'm glad there are at least a few people who like it. Means I'm doing something right, right? =P The more I look at it, the more I want to add things here and there. Blah.

Name:Tyrant 666 Genre: Survival Horror Appearance:Gorilla like frame, 8.5 ft tall, big eye on each shoulder and one on his stomach, 4 ft long claws, feeding tubes still attached. Arena: Subbasement of the Umbrella research lab Austin branch. Fighting style: Tries to claw/pound you. If you get to close he can cut your head off or impale you. Has the ability to spit acid, and is incredibly fast. Has great resistance to handgun, shotgun, and submachine gun bullets, only weak point is the head. Fight theme: something scary to fit the vibe of Tyrant 666 Story: A rich man bent on becoming immortal, Peter Schloffigan (lol), went through great lengths to procure DNA samples from umbrellas B.O.W.s. In the end, he wound up with Nemesis, William Birkins, Alexia Ashfords, and Albert Wesker's DNA. For 10 years his researchers tested and tested until finally they found a way to stabilize the mixture. A lowly guinea pig (who wasn't tested on as they found a good mix before they got to him) stole the stabilized virus and replaced with with a first batch. When Schloffigan injected himself he almost instantly felt the power. 2 days of stewing later Tyrant 666 came to be. The scientist's quickly subdued and contained 666 in a suspended state with life support. They intended on selling him to the highest bidder but something went wrong. A young scientist who had just begun working for Schloffigan along with Leon Kennedy (a U.S. Special Biowar Agent) cut the power to the machine containing 666 thus releasing him. He quickly kills the young scientist and eats him. The battle for survival begins...
P.S. Only Leon S. Kennedy can kill him LOL.

Oh ho! A survival horror boss. I only have one question. Why is it that Leon is the only one who can kill him? Just because he would be the character you're playing as? That would really make it painfully obvious and therefore you wouldn't really need to state that, so I theorize that there must be another reason.

That would really make it painfully obvious and therefore you wouldn't really need to state that, so I theorize that there must be another reason. Leon has been shown to have the best aim of the Resident Evil characters but thats not the main reason.. I wrote a RE fanfic a while back and this was the "Final boss". At that point in the story, Tyrant 666 had infected Claire and Chris with his uber virus. They hadn't turned yet and Leon ends up saving them (with Claire's help they find the "antivirus 666" In the story, Leon (being the only one able to wield a weapon) was the only person who could kill Tyrant 666. And Leon is the most bada$$ RE character ever lol

umm I'm gonna give it a shot if no one minds redface
Game survival horror with those puzzles that take you forever to figure out Name: Nephthys Appearance: throughout the game she is part of the party, a middle aged woman who is good friends with your boss right up until the end when she is possessed by the temple goddess and takes the form of a preteen girl with snake eyes and claws (think lady deathstrike) Arena: dark Egyptian temple, right there with the exit door (light at the end of the tunnel) in sight Fighting style:she gets out of your range and screams, bringing out the same freaking mummies you've been fighting all game to distract you while she mutters spells to hurl at you. Fight theme:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=10_bXL-ciwI probably the beginning of this until you kill her, and then that would be where the goddesses join in. Special moves: If you get her low enough in health she attacks you outright and if your not fast enough latches on to you to drain your health adding to hers. Finishers:she rips your heart out and starts eating it. Story: Back in ancient Egypt the temple was to the goddess of the underworld, Nephthys. she grew vain and insulted the other gods so they trapped her and all of her priestesses in the temple and buried it beneath the sand. She waited in the familiar darkness for thousands of years waiting to be found. Aren't you freaking lucky.
good idea? biggrin

I concur. Perhaps a little more depth in the story description? How did the goddess insult the other gods and why can't the goddess use her powers to simply escape from her entrapment?

ok ummm....
you are an archeologist student for the university of Cairo studying under Dr. Siiri who is on the spry side of 50. He offers to let you intern on a big dig he is excavating with one of his prominent friends who is an older lady who insists you simply call her martha.you help dig up what is believed to be an ancient tomb however this is unfortunately the temple and once you and the party consisting of you,Dr.siiri,Martha, fellow student Elayne and two hired Egyptian workers (who are wearing red shirts..muahahaha) are inside the door slams shut and the priestesses are awakened by the smell of your fresh blood.
why is she imprisoned?
Nephthys helped her brother/husband Set kill her sister's (Isis) husband Osiris. When Isis revived Osiris and became pregnant with Horus, Set betrayed his wife and told all the other gods it was her alone. He even helped incarcerate her.
why doesnt she zap herself out? (Dr. Siiri gives you this hint)
Nephthys is the goddess of the underworld, she cannot appear on the above ground in her own form, she must take the body of a human female which is why there are no priests in her temple however if she left her temple then her brothers Ra (the sun) or Set (the moon) would strike her down.
mmm i hope i did a good job at continuing, i thought no one would be interested...(i'm so excited!) whee
