She continued to frown as she listened to his explanation, her brow furrowed as if she was thinking, or concerned about something. So he had left Galactic, and was using Rocket to try and keep himself safe from them.
.... A lot of what he was telling her was very troubling, especially when she came back in remembering that the Elite don't know. "You should tell the Elites" she told him, lowering both her arms, despite the one still dripping slightly. "They are not stupid either, and they are already under the impression that we have a mole in the ranks, if the elites find out by themselves that you were once a part of Galactic, and they will, you will have more then Galactic to worry about." She didn't make this sound like a threat, if anything one could say she had a hint of concern in her voice. despite that, she just frowned even more, eying Lucus before her entire demeanor perked up with a sudden realization. He had been a Galactic Elite! "You should provide Intel in return for asylum." if he was not going to be loyal to Team Rocket.... something that made her feel extremely uneasy and distrustful, then he could at least exploit what weaknesses of Team Galactic he knew, it would certainly help the project she was working on along.

Lucas was well-acquainted with the nuances of human emotion, and he could see that Faleen was concerned by his words. He took in her suggestion, considered it, and frowned slightly.
"I know I should," he said, dancing about the thought as though it presented some physical danger, "but the fact that they suspect a turncoat is all the more reason to lay low, right? Seems like the mole would be the first person to insist that he wasn't a mole..."
Her sudden change in expression, though, derailed his thought, and her next proposal was one to which he gave serious thought. "I could do that, couldn't I...?" he wondered aloud. "I don't know if I remember enough that would be useful, though... But it's worth a shot." He had been meaning to see an elite over the issue of the allowance of firearms, after all. It would be two Pidgey with one stone if he sought one out now.

shaking her head softly. "you misunderstand my reason for bringing that up" starting, she tilted her head and looked down the hall a couple of times, half expecting someone to be walking down it, but when she saw that it was completely empty she looked back over to him. "You going to them first and explaining the situation would save from later punishment from being found out. I'm certain the results would not be good."
When he voiced a more positive remake toward intel, Faleen could not help but perk up a little, she certainly liked that ideas. "It would be great if you would, I know the robotics division would really benefit from anything you could tell us." she wasn't sure why he wouldn't be able to tell them a lot, that part confused her, since she did expect elite to know quite a bit about the organization, perhaps Galactic worked differently.
She did have her concerns on just how the elite might respond to an ex-galactic. She knew loyalty was going to come into question, and his certainly seemed to be for self serving reasons. The best way she could think for him to present it, was to offer more of a service in return, telling elite valuable information about the galactic would be very definitional to rocket, in terms of fighting back if the time came.
"... do you want me to come?" she asked,

"Ahh, that's true..." There was no arguing that they would find out, and if they didn't find out through Lucas himself, it would definitely appear as though he had been hiding it. Perhaps because he was hiding it.
"Hmm, I was more involved with weaponry myself, but I think a lot of the mechanisms that went into it were used by the robotics team as well. I'm sure I could dig up something good to share..." he considered, internally sorting through his memories of his workplace. He wasn't sure how much of it Rocket had matched or surpassed, but it surely couldn't hurt to tell what he knew.
Her sudden offer surprised the man and, much as he wanted to accept, fumbled with the words to decline, "I couldn't ask that... I mean, you know... The infirmary and stuff. And, uh... Well, I mean, you shouldn't have to help me deal with it, you know? It's my own problem, you know?" Smooth.

She truly beamed when he said he worked with weaponry, seeming extremely excited about this idea. "I could work with anything you give me. really." she paused "You worked with Weaponry then? what kind of work did you do, did you build them?" This seemed to be a subject that she was rather fond of. Weaponry might have been the main focus of her talents, but it was at least part of it.
At his hesitant stuttering denial of her offer to accompany him, lead her to believe that he wasn't being entirely honest, seeing as this was the first he had reacted like this. To be honest she wondered what kind of position that would put her in, it might be a bad idea for her personally if the Elite did take this badly, but if it was beneficial to Team Rocket... to help show that Lucas is serious about this, maybe its worth it. She certainly wanted that information in his head. "Well, I certainly wouldn't be going to the elite looking like this, thats for sure" she said, gesturing to her damp uniform. "You are a part of the team now, if your serious about willing to help us out, then I'll do what I can to help you out... even if I am just a grunt, thats not worth much I'm afraid." this made her ponder.

"I worked alongside the building team, but I didn't do any building myself. I helped out with testing and troubleshooting, but on paper I was more like a maintenance guy. I'd submit design ideas every now and then, but they didn't even take them into consideration until I was a higher rank." Not that he could blame them. At best he looked disorganized and scatterbrained. Who would trust a guy like that with designing high-powered weapons?
"Well, I mean, I don't want to impose..." She used the word team, he reminded himself. Hell, that was the name of organization. Team Rocket. "...I'd appreciate it. I've got no reason to keep secrets. If I can help out Rocket by sharing what I know from Galactic, all the better." Best case scenario, he could relish the looks on their faces if he ever had the chance to see them staring down the barrels of their own guns.
Worst case scenario, he'd be shot on sight for treachery. Lucas tried to ignore that possibility.

"Well, I would have interest in those design plans" if she could see the kind of things that Galactic was playing with, She could get a better idea of what they would bring to the next knife fight. Galactic might bring guns, but Rocket was going to bring Rocket Launchers! ... okay she was getting a little to excited about this figure of speech going through her had.
She shook her head, holding her hand up again. "Then I will help you." they have just reached the steps that would take them to the inferiority though, she paused for a moment before trotting up them.

"All right," Lucas said with a nod and a smile. "Well... Thank you. And see to it that you get treated properly." He'd known infirmary to slack off from time to time, prescribing generic antibiotics for serious viral infections or throwing bandages on broken bones. He watched as she proceeded into the clinic and turned to leave, burying his hands into his pockets thoughtfully. Hopefully things would turn out all right...

She paused on the steps, turning to address him once again. "Thank you for your assistance, I will return the favor. See you soon" She hoped he would not run off in the night, that... seemed unlikely though.
Bowing her head to him, and giving him one last friendly smile, she turned and continued up the stares.
