I'm curious to know more about his motivations~
In enrolling in the school, what does he hope to do? Are there any classes or clubs he wants to participate in? Does he want to dabble and try to find out what he is good at? He is excited to make friends, but are there certain types of people he is drawn to or looks for?
Also, I think he should garden. |D
For his natural ability, what is it like when he talks to the crows? Does he talk out loud to them like to a person, or use telepathy, or something totally different that only scarecrows do?
Ton of questions, but maybe some of those will trigger something. smile

"Breck's shed?!" The postal gnome exclaimed when he looked at the sender information. "Uhhh.....uhhh.....oh man, oh man, can't let this get lost. Who knows what he'll do to me...maybe...maybe he'll look at me. With that dire stare of his." The gnome shuddered and began to flail a bit. "Oh jack...can't mess this up, can't mess thi-AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHNOOooooOOOOOOOOO!!"
Unfortunately for the gnome (but nonetheless lucky for the student) he brought his hand a bit too close to the Bin's mouth, which was more than happy to take the letter off of the gnome...as well as his hand.
