I use the electric a lot more and i think oit is better because you can make it useabkle for pretty much all kinds of guitar music.

Electric, it's just easier for me to handle, and I love the sounds it can make. I also get pissed off at acoustics when my pics get inside the hole by accident. Other than that I find their sound soothing and it blends nicely together. I love both, but the electric is my passion.

I'm gonna go with accoustic. I've been playing for five years and I started with an accoustic. I like to wander around playing, you know, on the streets, in school, etc. I think that accoustic is just better for my needs. Yeah, I have an electric, but I don't play it as often because I'm never near an outlet to plug the little 10-watt amp that I got for travel.

i like electrics cause they have better sound , yet acoustics are alot louder without an amp, but i still prefer electric .

hylianhero27 Definitely electric, although there's never any doubt in my mind that A good acoustic is unbeaten.

I'd have to say my electric bass. Just because of the loud noise. Yes, I know I'll go deaf just jaming out with the amp cranked to the max in my small room making the windows and glass I have on my walls shake like the worlds ending. But I do enjoy the occasional time on the accoustic guitar.

i'd have to say acoustic, because i go camping alot, and you don't take an expensive electric guitar camping to entertain a bunch of Boy Scouts!

i dig electrics because i can do so many different things with them and make just about any sound while with acoustic your limited. i do however like the acoustic because it puts out a good sound and you can play it anywhere without any equipment

depends on what gig im playing. see... im in two bands...a jazz fusion trio, and a blues/rock foursome. when im playing my blues i alot of times head for my acoustic/electric. but when im playing jazz...theres nothing better than my fender strat or my fender jagmaster.

Acoustic. It just seems purer. Like, if you have an electric, you can disguise your playing with effects and stuff, but you've gotta be pretty good to get stuff like that on an acoustic.
Also, this sounds weird, but I randomly sit there hugging my guitar. Not while I'm playing. I'll be doing something else, and I'll just pick up my guitar, put it on my knee and hug it. And acoustics are a LOT more comfortable to do that with.

My Tele is Puff the magic dragon, my pink strat is Frankie, and my Les Paul is Evangeline.
