Tensai bowed his head in thanks, grinning the whole time. It was so nice to be appreciated! When he lifted his head he was awarded with the sight of Minami approaching and then walking right past him. Her head was lowered coyly but Tensai overlooked this and decided to make her as comfortable as he could. He didn't request their instruction to make friends but the least he could do was allow her to teach him properly.
He stalked after her with his eyes tracing the faint contours of the rafters hidden within the shadows of the dojo. When Minami stopped at the post, Tensai stopped at a respectable distance and stared 'past' Minami, so as to ease her feeling of discomfort.
"I have not learned any of my clan techniques as of yet but I have taught myself a few water elemental ninjutsu. I understand the concept but I like any true experience," he explained. At the same time he wondered how Minami would teach him any new techniques and where the water would come from. As far as he could see there were no sources of water in the viscnity...Then again the dojo was hidden within a well so mabye it rested on top of an underground lake of some sort. He constructed a fantastic mental image of an ornate dojo, actually a tower that connected an underground lake to a well on the surface. Behind his smooth gray hues, a maliscious light twinkled as his thoughts wandered without distracting hi m from the task at hand.

 Minami UnabaraOtogakure | Sp.Jounin | Soma no Ko | Teaching Master|| Suiton || Raiton || Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu ||When she noticed that the young Ushio's gaze was not directed at her but at the wall behind her, Minami smiled in gratefulness for his consideration. Relaxing a bit, Minami still kept her left hand on her right arm but from her body posture, it would appear that she was getting use to Tensai's company. Listening to the boy speak of his well of knowledge, Minami nodded her head in understanding before bending down. Placing her right hand gentle onto the wooden flooring, Minami began feeling the dark floors for something in particular. Believing that she found it, Minami knocked thrice on it and as if by magic, the a 30cm by 30cm square piece of flooring sank down and shifted to the side. The sound of soft gushing water could be heard as the newly appeared hole revealed a source of running water. Hey, they didn't fall down a well for nothing.
"This inn was originally built over a river many years ago during the creation of Oto. Just thought a Ushio might be interested in such knowledge..." Minami spoke in a light, reminesing tone of voice. Turning to face her student, Minami considerd the various suiton techiniques that she could teach Tensai and narrowing it down to a few useful ones, Minami opened her mouth to speak once more. "To start, I think we'll do a double lesson. I'm going to teach you the Mizu Kagmi no Jutsu and the Us Tsuba." Remaining in her croutched state, Minami brought both hands chest level and ran over a few simple seals, certain that the Ushio will be able to memorize it after seeing it twice. Adding chakra now, Minami used the seals to help focus the chakra into her lungs. Feeling the water gather into her lungs, Minami took in a deep breath before shooting a simple jet of water out towards the post. Landing next to the post, Minami smiled at its positioning. "A simple technique, the Uo Tsuba allows you to shoot out a simple jet of water from your mouth that if aimed correctly can contain enough force to momentarily stun opponents. Focus your chakra into your lungs and infuse the chakra with the moisture inside yourself to create a source of water. Next take in a deep breath and fire it out."
Raising her right hand, Minami pointed to where her stream of water had landed and then to the post that obscured their view of her sister and Tenza. "The Mizu Kagami no Jutsu, perfect for situations like these where your view is obstructed. Focus your chakra into the water and using your training in basic water manipulation, which I assumed you started with, turn the water into a mirror surface." As she spoke, Minami had simutainously infused her chakra into the water and hardened the surface. In doing so, she was able to create a mirror that allowed them to see Kita and Tenza. Though the view was not as clear as she would like it, it was still good enough for a demonstation. "Now you try..." Sinking back into her shell after a almost flawless lesson, Minami wrapped her arms around herself as she waited for her student to start.
Uo Tsuba (Fish Spit)

Description: A simple jet of water shot from the mouth. It can hit with enough force to stun you if it hits properly. It can be done up to 5 times in succession, or one jet can be shot. To give an example of its power, Mist academy students usually use this technique to play a game much like tag.
Mizu Kagami no Jutsu (Water Mirror Technique)

Description: A simple jutsu that allows the user to turn a quantity of water as small as a drop and as large as a small puddle into a mirrored surface. This can allow the user to see behind himself, and around corners with careful application of the technique. Does not requrie hand seals.

Tensai sensed rather than saw Minami's movements from the corner of his eye. When her small figure dipped and swayed on the floor he held his gaze on the wall behind her until the small piece of flooring sank beneath the ground. He blinked in admiration of the dojo's architecture, a combination of subdued simplicty obscured behind what seemed like inumerable secrets.
As he predicted, the dojo and inn were built upon a source of water; an active river by the sound of it. He wondered where it led and if it connected to the river that flowed through the rice patties near Kariko Village. Tensai bowed, wordlessly thanking Minami for the informatioon she bestowed onto him and respecting her for understanding his innate craving for knowledge. He made a mental note to find records of Kariko's historical records. He was particularly interested in the Village architecture records.
At Minami's voice the Ushio turned his gaze to the wall behind her and focused his attention on the lesson. He was already familiar with the basic water manipulation and as he watched Minami perform a set of handseals, Tensai was already moving his hands in the same pattern. Liquids in his body were suddenly permeated with chakra and began to swell upwards. His cheeks bulged as Minami fired the jet of water towards the post. When she countinued onto the next technique Tensai approximated the amount of chakra necessary for such a technique before countinuing.
Without warning he craned his neck upwards and fired the jet at the ceiling where it splashed noisily and droplets began to drop towards the post. As the first droplets rained down, Tensai's chakra contained within reacted to another signal from his core. The water froze into a mirror instantly, suspended by pillars of ice from the ceiling and angled to provide another view of Kita and Tenza.
The Ushio's clan innate skill in suiton techniques were clear in Tensai and he knew it. He wasn't usually one for theatrics but for him, water manipulation was a method of expression. An art.

'Impressive,' Eyeing the reflective image from Tensai's made-shift mirror, Minami smiled gently at the image of her sister teacher. It was always like this, Kita was the outgoing one, headstrong and energetic which she was the quiet, shy one - the wallflower. It didn't bother Minami though, instead she respected her sister more for her personality and is glad to know how protective and sensitive her sister is of her well being. Like their names, the two are as different as North and South but are still connected in the middle by their bloodline.
Standing up, Minami decided that it'll be best to relocate for the next part of their training. Facing her student, Minami called out in a soft voice. "Ushio-san, I think it'll be best if the two of us relocate ourselves for the remainder of this training session." Not saying anything else, Minami allowed her slate blue chakra to engulf her. Concentrating the chakra to her feet, it would appear as if Minami were about to perform the wall walking technique. Minami took two steps backwards so that she was standing in front of the hole leading down to the hidden water source. "Familiar isn't it? In order for us to train in the new location, you'll have to first master this technique. As to why this is so familiar, its because you are now to learn to walk on water."
Pausing a bit, Minami gave Tensai a moment to absorb and break down her words the way most Ushio are said to do. "The Suimen Hokou no Gyou, also known as 'The Art of Water Walking'. This technique enables you to walk on the surface of the water. Similar to the wall and tree walking technique, you focus chakra to the soles of your feet but due to water being of a liquid state, the difficulty of this technique increases greatly. You must be cautious to keep careful control over your chakra." Glancing down into the dark midst of the hole, Minami could hear the sound of running water and returning her gaze towards her student, continued to speak. "I'll go down first and produce a light source. You are to then follow whenever you feel ready. Throughout this whole procedure I'll do my best to assist you if you are to ever loose your footing."
Jumping backwards, Minami gracefully fell down into the darkness and within seconds landed safely on top of the running river. Raising her right hand, Minami gathered chakra to her hand and produced a glowing ball of light. Now if Tensai was to glance down into the hole, he'll see a thin stone hallway containing the river and several wooden post to help support the inn in place. Glancing upward, Minami gave him a small nod of her head in signal to jump down. Keeping her left hand outstretched, Minami prepared herself to support her student if his first attempt was to fail.

Description: A technique that enables the user to walk on the surface of water by concentrating chakra into the feet. It is also used for training; it allows an individual to learn how to control the release of chakra.
Chakra Hikari no Jutsu (Chakra Light Technique)
Rank: D
Description: This jutsu allows the user to make a ball of chakra that produces light. Although it can’t harm anyone it’s useful for when going in dark areas and good for letting your comrades know where you are if you get lost in a foggy place. The light cast by the chakra ball illuminates an area up to 30 feet in all directions around you. Once created, the light will automatically follow you wherever you go and can be moved around you to illuminate different areas. However, the light cannot be moved more then 5 feet away from the user, or it will disappear. The light lasts for 5 posts at which point the chakra condensed into the ball of light fades out.

((Sorry for the late reply, I've been a little busy off the computer. I apologize for any spelling mistakes))
Tensai was confident that he performed well and he sensed Minami's approval even as she stared into the reflection of Kita and Tenza. He believed she was examining his handiwork and waited patiently for the next lesson, which she announced in her soft voice. He frowned when blue chakra flared along her feet and watched her pause before the hole leading to the underground water supply.
He nodded at her instructions and watched as she jumped down into the darkness. He heard the splash of water as she landed and then observed a bright light illuminate the dark depths. Inhaling deeply the Ushio funneled his chakra into his soles as if he were performing the wall-walking technique. He knew it wasn't what was required to successfully perform the new technique but the Water Walking Technique was clearly derived from the technique he learned previously. [1/5]
Confirming his hypothesis to be fairly logical Tensai leapt into the hole feet first. It wasn't a long fall and he kenw the river would not be moving fast enough so he would quickly lose his footing and be dragged away by the current. While Minami landed gracefully, Tensai's arrival was marked with a loud splash and small waves of water as he almost instantly sank into the chilly depths. Although he was correct when he decided the current was now strong enough to drag him away in an uncontrollable roll, he found it difficult to regain his footing and balance as heavy waves assaulted his body. Thankfully he was built a little sturdier than more of his peers, with brought shoulders and clearly devloped muscles. [2/5]
He declined Minami's offer to help him and instead began to tread watter in place. He coughed a lungful of water back into the river and swiped a bare hand across his lips in mild irritation. The wall walking technique was vastly inferior to the advanced version, only keeping him afloat for a second before the unpredictable motions of the river overcame his remedial chakra construct. Now, he had an idea to bring him back onto the water surface but it involved channeling chakra to his arms which was easier than funneling it down to his legs. As the chakra bubbled onto his palms, Tensai placed his hand onto the surface of the water and pressed down lightly. Instead of creating a static 'wall' of chakra with adhesive properties, Tensai allowed the invisible construct to be more flexible. Unfortunately, his hand still plummeted but maintained its balance for several seconds longer. He was making progress. [3/5]
"I need to conserve my chakra but treading water will tire me out eventually," muttered Tensai and he took a deepth breath and plunged beneath the surface. He kicked his way towards one of the wooden posts that supported the inn and wraped his left arm around the sturdy beam. The current tugged at his body and Tensai felt his sandal escape his feet and quickly rise to the surface where it lazilly floated away. As he watched the worn garment drift away, he noted how it was able to float even though it was definetly more dense than the water....Buyouancy! A lightbulb came to life above his head and Tensai wrapped both of his arms around the beam. He began to scale the wooden post until he brought himself, dripping wet, from the rivers grasp. [4/5]
His feet were tinged with a light violet aura but the low concentration of chakra quickly faded from the visible spectrum. Now suspended a few feet from the surface of the water, Tensai planted his feet onto wooden post and he could feel the low traction as a result of the chakra rippled across his soles. It took several tries to plant his feet but Tensai managed to gain a sturdy grip and then kick off the post, soaring backwards a few feet before landing tentatively on the water. He rose and dipped with the waves he created and nearly lost his balance as the alien experience overtook his body. [5/5 Water Walking Technique LEARNED]
Tensai was beginning to notice the intricasies of chakra manipulation and coming to terms with his own proficiencies in manipulating the biological energy. For example, he was already fiddling with the layer of chakra covering his soles in a fashion to create less ripples only a few minutes after learning the technique. He had yet to master it, and caling upon the art the next few times he used it would be tough but he was sure it would quickly be mastered once he developed it enough. Grinning widely, Tensai altered the layer on his sole once again and by simply sliding his legs he was able to skate across the surface of the water. It wasn't graceful and geysers of water burst behind his body every few seconds but the act of further enhancing the technique by itself was enough for praise. Tensai entertained himself by skating circles around Minami.
"How was that?"

Tenza nodded nodded, grabbing the cards that the girl handed over to him. -" Thanks." Tenza said as he placed the deck of cards within his jacket, save for a single card he held on to in his left hand. ' Writting information in cards with chakra? That's a pretty cool, and useful trick." He said as he sat down before his teacher. Tenza placed his left hand on the ground, along with the card. ' If these lessons came with instructions... I'd be so happy...' Tenza then thought as he closed his eyes and allowed his left hand to hover above the card so that he could begin to place chakra on his hand before he would start to engrave anything on it. And like the girls said, he would engrave his own information, nothing mayor, just a few simple things about himself. ' This should be fun.' He then thought as his left hand began to glow black, this being his chakra.

Tenza placed his index finger on the card, trying to see if he didn't need to actually write on it, that would make his life better. The boy's chakra raced toward the card, falling from his finger. The card began to glow black, but no information was written on the card. " Damn it." Tenza said as he pulled his finger away from the card, sighing a bit. ' This isn't going to work... I need to find another way to do this.' He thought as he began to concentrate chakra into one finger once more. ' I guess writting on it is the only way to do this.' The boy then thought as he pushed the card on the ground a bit to the front, he had an idea, but he needed a bit more space.

With the card a few inches away from his body, Tenza looked on toward the wooden floor he was sitting on. ' Alright, so if making my chakra give the card a bath won't work, maybe I'll need to carve the information into the cards.' Tenza thought, this was a viable idea, to use anywhere but within the cards, they where way to thin to be able to carve the information into them. The boy placed chakra upon his index finger and he then placed his finger on the ground, leaving a small hole there. ' Okay, if this works it means it must work on the cards.' He thought, but first he had to tune his chakra down a bit so two things could be done with this; one was obviously write the card, and the other was not breaking it. The boy continued to place his finger on the wodden floor, tunning his chakra, making it thineer with each time he did this, up until the point which it almost wasn't visible on the wood.

Tenza then moved his finger, from the wood to the card, and sighed. " This better work..." He said, gently placing his finger on the top right corner of the card. Once he did this he moved his finger, writting his own name with the chakra. ' Zangetsu Tenza' The right part of the card read. As soon as he did this the chakra in his finger dispearsed into the card, and it began to write things on it's own, such as Tenza's birthday date, his blood type, his elements, which where Earth and Lighting, for now, his current family, which was only Yasa, and his jutsu, which wasn't all that many. The card also detailed information on his fighting style, which was just left in-blank since Tenza doesn't really have any combat expirience, nor practice. Seeing his card the boy sighed in relief and he grabbed it. " Okay, I'm done, I hope this was what you expected." The boy then told the twin that was still with him.

She spotted the chakra on his feet and having seen him used the wall walking technique knew that he kept the chakra amount the same. Something which she knew would work against their current practice. 'Water is buoyant, it has no solid surface, to use the same amount is underestimating this drill...' As he fell into the chilly depths of the river, Minami reached over with her outstretched hand and was taken a back when he refused. A small smirk appeared on her face as Tensai's refusal sparked Minami's inner curious and testing nature. Straightening up, Minami crossed her arms and used her hands to grip her elbows. Eyeing her student, Minami watched intrigued as Tensai attempted to tread and learn the technique at the same time.
Eventually though, it would appear as if the gears in the Ushio's mind began to function again and he easily solved the mystery behind the water walking technique. Though not perfect, it would appear as if he's finally got a hang of standing on top of the water. When he even began to skate around her, Minami could help but raise the back of her right hand to her mouth as she released a soft chuckle. "You are an amusing one Ushio-san...not only are you smart, but intriguing as well...I think I'll enjoy training you..." Signalling for him to stop, Minami's face turned solum as she readied to proceed with the lesson plan. Even if she now felt more relaxed around her student and didn't mind teaching him, to be away from Kita for over 5 minutes was unacceptable for her...she needed her sister and vise versa though she was sure Kita could stand to be away from her for much longer than 5 minutes...'Though she reasures me otherwise, I still feel like I'm holding her back...' Pushing those thoughts aside, Minami looked up to face her student and spoke in a soft voice that resounded clearly around the narrow walls that was there training space.
"Mizu Tate no Jutsu, or Water Shield Technique, is a move that allows us to create a cylindrical barrier that may be used to defend against projectiles, ninjutsu and the like. Keep in mind though, that even though the shield can help defend us from ninjutsu, it's still weak against it. With water manipulation, we can further manipulate the shield, barrier, to have spikes, tentacles, hands, etc. This helps to increase the shield's defense though this additions are still not strong enough to weild a weapon of be of much use offensively." Bringing her hand up to her chest, Minami began running through the handseals several times without chakra.
Confident that her student had already memorized it by now and was eager for her to move on, took a deep breath and allowed her chakra to flow freely as she breezed through the handsigns. Sending her chakra into the surrounding waters, Minami manipulated it so that it rose up and flowed around her to create a cylindrical barrier that stopped just above her head. "This is your basic water manipulation, you need to infuse your chakra into the water and control it so that it will form into a cylindrical barrier to protect you. As you can see, the water is not harden but still running. All you are doing is containing the water in this shape...next..." Sending in more chakra, Minami manipulated the water in the shield at different points and forced several small water spikes to appear in the front part of the barrier. "At the cost of a bit more chakra you further manipulate the water within your shield into small things such as spikes to increase your defense...you have to focus and don't lose concentration for adding more defense into a basic shield is not as easy as it looks. You need to keep your shield in tack while adding in the additional defense...I've said all that can be said, the rest is up to you." Cancelling her technique, the barrier lost its foundation and fell in a small splash back into the flowing river.
Mizu Tate no Jutsu (Water Shield Technique)
Description: A shield of water is formed around the user as a cylindrical barrier that reaches just above the user's head. After the initial creation that user can manipulate the water, allowing for water spikes, tentacles, hands and the like, though these appendages are not dexterous enough to handle a weapon. The bad thing is that the shield isn't that reliable against ninjutsu. However, an opponent who is strong enough can break through the shield.

Kita UnabaraOtogakure | Sp.Jounin | Soma no Ko | Teaching Master|| Suiton || Raiton || Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu ||After her sister left to go train Tensai, Kita retained her focused on the young man before her. As expected, he seemed to have more difficulties grasping the concept behind the secret cards than the Ushio. Then again, Ushio were known for their bright mind. Besides, this wasn't the easier of techniques to begin with so compared to most, he's doing fairly well. When he was done, Kita examined the card and nodded her head in approval.
"Good work Tenza-san. Though it took you awhile, it seems you've got the hang of it now and it the end, that's all that matters." Pausing a bit, Kita mentally ran through her minimal knowledge on the art of raiton and deciding to start with the most basic and generic among all elements, Kita opted to start with the Raikou Bunshin. "Alright, time to start individual training. From the info card you made a few moments prior, it would appear you harness both Doton and Raiton as your element affinities and you already know two of the basic raiton techniques. Good. Now then, lets start with the most generic of all techniques, the Bunshin no Jutsu. Though since we're working with lightening, this will be a Raikou Bunshin. A clone made of lightening."
Bringing her hands up to chest height, Kita ran over the seals several times without chakra for Tenza before flawlessly going through them with chakra. Sending her chakra out to the spot next to her, her chakra seemed to spark as electrical currents surrounded it. Her lightening surrounded chakra gathered together and slowly but surely took the form of a person. Within the next few seconds, the sparks died down and another Kita was formed. "As you can see, its like your average clone though this one contains a solid form. You use your raiton chakra for this and releasing it out, mold the chakra into a form of you. The electricity current that surrounds your chakra will gather togther to form the clone's foundation. Though I say it will gather, it's up to your control over your chakra that'll decide if it'll hold or not. Once hit, the clone will disperse into hot, smoky air and containing 1/10th of your strength, the clone is able to deliever shock of electricity to your opponent to make up for its lack of strenght. Now you try." Crossing both her arms loosely across her chest, Kita wondered how Minami was handling the training. She knew how fearful her sister was of seperation but this is what needed to be done. They were low on their mission count and this will help to cover their rent too...'Hope she's not too nervous to teach...'
Raikou Bunshin no Jutsu (Lightning Clone Technique)

Jutsu Description: This technique makes a simple clone of the shinobi however unlike the standard bunshin, which is a genjutsu, this bunshin takes an actual physical form through the use of electrically charged chakra. One can easily touch and hold this clone like it was in fact an actual person, however when it is attacked it quickly disperses into smoky, hot air. It is also able to attack using taijutsu, however it's ability to attack is around 1/10 in perspective to the user, in return for this weakness it's attacks deliver shocks of electricity to the opponent's body.

Tenza saw the girl, Kita, run a couple of seals. ' A lightning clone... Maybe Raiton can server it's perpous...' The genin thought as he saw her make a clone beside her, it was identical, down to the last feature, but that didn't really impress the genin, he was sure Yasa could do that ten times over. The boy made a series of seals, exactly as Kita had done them. Holding the last seal Tenza closed his eyes and covered himself with a thin layer of chakra. ' Okay, just like the regular bushin no jutsu.' He thought as the figure began to move away of his body. What Kita might be able to see was a light outline of black energy moving slowly to the left, this obviously being his chakra. ' A little more.' He thought as half of the chakra outline had left his body. Just as part of the normal chakra left, he began to focus his lightning chakra around his body, using the half of the chakra that was still on his body as refrence.

With lightning chakra around half of his outline, Tenza began to fold his Raiton chakra, making it go toward the other half of the bushin, molding around it. The chakra as no longer black, now the outline was blue, glowing a bit due to the electricity it used. The genin opened his eyes and saw the outcrop of chakra. Now that he had the shape for the clone, he just needed to make the clone itself, which shouldn't be all that hard. Tenza took in a deep breath and re-made the handseals, gathering chakra around him, he noticed that there was something wrong with his outcrop; there was no way to make the actual clone, he would have to do it all simultaneusly, which shouldn't be to hard for him. With the seals re-made, the boy concentrated both his Raiton and his normal chakra, the chakra made it's way out of his body, and just as it did Tenza sent a stream of more chakra toward the outline, giving it a physical shape, before long, Tenza had a perfect clone beside him, or well, as perfect as it could be that being his first try, despire the fact that it seemed perfect, the clone was slightly taller than it's creator, making someone whom had been paying attention notice this change. " So Kita-san, how was that?" The genin asked his teacher, hoping it was well done.

Was Minami...laughing? The surprise was clear on the Ushio's face but he smiled and blushed at her compliments. He slowed to a stop in front of her with his fingers intertwined deep within the curls of his hair. "Ah, thank you Minami-sensei," he returned with a sheepish grin before adopting a more professional expression for the next lesson.
As Minami took time to describe the Mizu Tate no Jutsu, Tensai found he was actually familiar with a similar technique. The memories of his childhood in Uzushiogakure ninja training camps darkened his expression and as a result he did not hear the last half of the description, at least on a conscious level. When he came out of the daze, the words he didn't hear were drawn to his conscious mind and assembled into the full description without any sort of effort from the Ushio himself. While most shinobi possessed photographic memory, Tensai's rare skill, instant perfect memory recall, allowed him to revisit every experience he'd ever been through. With this skill he would be able to hear conversations while he was unconscious, because his unconscious mind was still recording the sights and sounds of the memory. [1/3]
His bare hand began to mimic the sequence of handseals without chakra as Minami repeated them. Somehow, through intuition, he applied chakra during the same sequence she did and the water around his feet became agitated. A large wave rose sluggishly and rolled around to encompas his body as it took on more speed. The cylindrical barrier rose well above his feet and left enough space for him to move inside and despite the speed of the water, he found he was still able to see Minami's barrier as well [2/3]
The barrier raged around his body, churning the water surface into a white froth around his feet. More chakra flowed from his body into the cylindrical barrier as it span around his body and thick appendages began to form on the outer level. Several fists began to strike rapidly into the air before morphing into spinning hammers and later, long tentacles. [3/3]

'A different, but workable method...' The chakra that was to be the base of the clone shifted from black to blue and eventually a mirror image of himself. Though slightly taller, it was very well done for a first take. "Not bad, you clone is slightly taller but it will do." Stepping past Tenza so that she was now in one of the darker corners of the room, Kita turned to smile at Tenza. "You've shown that you're quite the showboat Tenza-san, so I'm sure that this next technique will suit your taste. Nothing catches people's attention as much as a flickering light."
Closing her eyes, Kita released a deep breath before surrounding herself in chakra. Using her lightening affinity, Kita sent in a burst of electrical charge that caused her chakra to glow a bright yellowish, gray. Manipuliting it further, Kita controlled the lightening charges to flicker. From Tenza's point of view, it would seems as if a sudden pale yellow light appeared admist the darkness before flickering as if sending out a signal. "The Yurayura Ranpu no Jutsu. A technique that requires average control. One surrounds themself in chakra which like the Raiton Bushin, is filled with lightening chakra. The lightening causes sparks of energy capable of creating a small light. With further manipulation of the electrical currents, one can cause the surrounding light to flicker. The handsigns are...." Cancelling her own technique, Kita once more stepped into the dimly lit room and waited paitently for her student to start.

Nodding her head in approval, Minami turned her gaze upward when she throught she saw a flicker from above the hole. 'Are they practicing the flicker technique?' Shaking her head to rid herself of thoughts about Kita and her training session, Minami opted to refocus on her own training session with Tensai. "Good work Tensai-san. Next, I think it'll be good if we learn a hidden offensive technique."
Squating down, Minami indicated for Tensai to do the same. Following the same procedure as last time, Minami demonstrated the handseals a few times before racing through them once with chakra. Stretching outward, Minami gracefully slipped her hands into the running water. Not letting the running water ruin her balance, Minami continued on with infusing her chakra with the water. Taking control of the surrounding water, Minami manipulated her chakra to mold the water into a pair of pincers. Using more chakra, Minami controlled them to quickly appeared a few centimeters before Tensai and snap shut. As they sinked back beneath the running water, Minami released a soft sigh before glancing upward at her student. "Isonagi no Jutsu, also known as the Beach Crab technique. It can only be utilized onto of water or loose soil. Loose soil because it contains traces of water which is what us Suiton users manipulate. As you saw, this technique requires you to mold the water into a pair of pincers which will suddenly appear from beneath the soft surface and attempt to capture your opponent's ankles. Once caught, the pincers will drag them beneath the surface and completely envelop them." Pausing for a bit, Minami wondered if ther was anything else she missed. 'Hm...I think that's it...oh wait, there's that.' Recalling the last part as she easily pulled her hands out of the water, Minami spoke in her usual light, airy voice. "Lastly, the grip on your opponent will be weaker than most binding techniques due to the liquid state of water and loose soil. It'll be a good distraction though if succesful. You're turn."
Isonagi no Jutsu (Beach Crab)

Description: A jutsu that can only be used on water or atop loose soil (sand, non-rocky aerated dirt, etc,) this technique causes a pair of pincers to rise out of the ground/water and grasp the target by the ankles before pulling him underground/water. An important difference between this technique and Doton: Shinjuu Zanshu is that in this technique the target is fully enveloped in the earth or water. If strong enough, the target can break free, due to the loose earth. Water is less efficient because of its fluidity, and the target not held long. There is something to be said, though, for the change in momentum that can occur when you force an opponent to abandon all thoughts save survival.

" A little taller huh? Guess I'll have to work on that later on. Tenza commented, more to himself than anything. The boy then made a single seal, dismissing the clone. " Me? A showboat? Oh no Kita-san, you have it all wrong; I just try to make myself look good." The boy then told his teacher, putting his left hand over his hair, flicking to the side, laughing at his comment. Truth be told, Tenza was infact a showboat, if there where girls around; he loved to make himself the center of attention around them, this obviously to make them feel confortable, or so he would hope.
With that said the Genin would walk behind his teacher for more of his Raiton. " A flickering light? I guess that is something useful..." He commented, just like before, Raiton wasn't his thing, much less a technique that yielded no combat ability, but, he wasn't going dishonor his teacher by saying he didn't want to learn it, he'd just have to suck it up and learn it. Hearing her explenation, which was followed by seals, Tenza knews that all he would need to do was mimic what he did with the raiton bushin, only that this time he didn't need the extra coat of chakra, nor the coat of his normal chakra, which made things go much smoother. Sighing the boy brought both of his hands against his chest, looking down at them he closed his eyes and took in a deep breath, this allowing his chakra to cycle throught his body, getting less dense, making it more manouverable. Taking yet another breath Tenza began to run through the seals that Kita had done not a minute ago.

With the seals done Tenza began to focus lightning chakra around him, just like before he made a light cloak around his body, making his chakra into a thin outline, but it quickly faded. ' So much for that.... He thought as he saw the outline disappear, he guessed that now he needed more chakra, simply because it faded away so suddenly; he knew his chakra pool was way to big for him to be out of it, or maybe he didn't know his limits? He shook his head and made the seals once more, trying to get them exactly as Kita had done them, and with the second try he did, it wasn't long afterward that the genin had coverred himself in a rather think, but still relatively small, cloak of chakra, and with this, a dim yellow light enveloped the dark area. " How's that?" He asked his teacher, hoping she approved of the jutsu.
[ Oh no It doesn't bore me, thinking on alternet ways to learn them is what bores me sweatdrop And awesome puppet user? With Zane around? I doubt it stare I was the awesomest.... by default >.>;;;; And yea, Tenza is a lady's man, somewhat. ]

'Not a showboat and yet he wishes to look good...he forms the whole argument by himself. Didn't even need me to say anything...' At his comment regarding the flickering light technique, Kita could tell that he was unimpressed and to a certain extent she can see why. People with his type of personality prefers offensive, flashy techniques. Plain, supplimentary techs just don't cut it for them. 'Well since we're done with all the genin tech, I guess it wouldn't hurt to start off the genin raiton technique with something cool.'
Nodding in approval of his performance, Kita ushered him over to the middle of the dojo facing the right wall. "Good work Tenza-san and since I'm confident that you're bored with simple supplimentry techniques, lets move onto something with a more spice." Going through the handseals twice in slow motion, Kita picked up the pace the third time around while adding in chakra as well. "Raiton: Raikou Boruto no Jutsu." Molding her chakra into a stream of electricity, Kita directed the current to her left. Extending out her left hand, Kita opened up her palm across from a wooden pole and releasing her chakra, formed a small ball of lightening centimeters from her hand before she sent it straight towards the post. The lightening bolt/ball disappeared after stricking the post and though nothing major happened, a circle of black appeared on the edge which indicated to the electricuted/fried wood. "The Raiton: Raikou Boruto no Jutsu, similar to a fireball technique, you mold the chakra inside you into electical currents and focusing it to either hand, create a call of lightening. Think of the ball of light you learned to make earlier. Only difference, you're using raiton chakra and its an offensive tech. As this stage, these kinds of attack won't do much but it'll be enough to cause minor shocks. Perfect for distraction." Returning her hand to her side, Kita turned to face her student as she awaited his response. "Any further questions?"
Raiton: Raikou Boruto no Jutsu (Lightning Release: Lightning Bolt Technique)

This is a simple bolt, akin to a fireball, as opposed to being a continuous stream. On impact, the target will suffer minor electric shocks.
