The fiend was right, this was hardly as bad as the other rooms he'd been in and one of them was his OWN!
Algie accepted the candy and it seemed to give him a new drive to continue. hearing the elder fiends voice in his mind also helped him focus away from the pulsating lights.
He and Bloo made their way back down the hall but found themselves walking into a large open room that he'd not come through the first time around. It was FULL of shadow people and there was a giant mirrored disco ball hanging from the ceiling. The people seemed to be dancing and waving glowsticks and the gyrating shadows seemed to mess with the old man's eyes.
Algie tried to find a wall. With so many shadows he had no idea which he should try to catch. He found the trick, when he found the walls. The walls were all mirrors. The light from the disco ball bounced around and made it unclear if there even were as many people as he thought there were.
"There could be 3 shadows.. or there could be a hundred." Algie squinted as if it would help him. Now that the music wasn't getting to him as badly (or maybe it was just this room?) he felt a little more light hearted about the situation, with a challenge and no danger it seemed much more fun!
"Bloo.. you can pick the one we go after!" The wisp seemed to pick up on his bond's renewed energy and zipped towards the nearest rump shaking shadow figure.

Algie followed Bloo but as soon as the wisp came upon the shadow he'd targetted, it disappeared and it's glowsticks fell aimlessly to the ground. Well, to Algie it seemed like an easy and fun way to find the real shadow and Bloo thought so too as he zipped towards another immediately.
Algie followed close behind, throwing his arms around the shadow before Bloo could reach it.

Reyna laughed as she felt Algie's arms wrap around her. She leaned back into his arms with a broad smirk plastered across her face. "Well, hello there," she said with a coy look. "I don't know what it is about you boys and this room, but I always seemed to end up manhandled a bit," she teased. She turned around and dropped another piece of candy into his hands. "See ya later boys~!" she called over her shoulder as she fled the scene.

As soon as Algie had grabbed Reyna the rest of the figures also disappeared. Apparently she had been the only meaningful figure in the whole room. He pocketed the red candy with the rest and felt much better.
"One away from the end. No offense though, I'd rather not go through another room Bloo." The wisp did not respond or hint in any way at it's opinion on the subject so Algie hoped it would be enough to keep the fiend from taking off again.
The room was now empty, lined with mirrors, but still with a rotating disco ball and flashing lights. The ground was littered with glow sticks after the shadow figures had gone and Algie picked one up and played with it in his hands. It seemed as real as the walls and it was reassuring to have something solid in his hands.
There didn't seem to be any exit except the one they had come through and so they headed down that hall. Once more the music gained in volume and the bass seemed to pound into Algie's head. He was sure he could feel it under his feet too.
As he turned a corner a figure jumped out right in front of him, making him jolt in surprise. In the dark he couldn't make out it's face so he made a grab for it!

The figure dissolved as soon as his hand's found it's wrist. With a smirk, Algie continued on. Bloo had returned to his bond's finger and apparently was feeling a little worn out by the excitement of the night. Hopefully they could find their way out soon.
They turned 3 more corners with nothing in site but mist and the pulsating lighting. Once again turning a corner, a being popped out in front of them. It's timing seemed to be perfect and it scared Algie every time it did it!
With a playful smile Algie grabbed for it again.

The being in question turned to face Algie with a vaugely annoyed swish of his tail. There still seemed to be dried blood on his pale, blue hands, and the look on his face could only be described as haunted. 'This is yours. Take it and escape the nightmare while you have the oppurtunity to do so. The door on the right will allow you your freedom,' Hawk spoke. Despite how he, too, wanted to flee, he headed towards the door on the left and phased through it entirely.
