Seriously. Wendee Lee as Haruhi Suzumiya = <33333. Need I say more?
By the way, Crispin Freeman, Michelle Ruff, Stephanie Sheh, Johnny Yong Bosch, Bridget Hoffman, and Kari Wahlgren aren't too bad either.

Cowboy Bebop - enough said
Fruits Basket - except for Ayame the voices are excellent
FullMetal Alchemist - Vic will always be Ed's voice in my mind, he does it so well!
Gundam Wing - It's my favorite Gundam for a reason
Saiyuki Reload - the series itself is too funny I laugh everytime I hear Lex as Sanzo and Tony as Gyojo.
Yuyu Hakusho - all the voice just fit so well together, I especially like Kurama...he just sounds too...girly in the Jap version to me
Inuyasha - Inuyasha's Japanese voice annoys me
Bleach - I don't care what the sub fans say, its good
Naruto - read above.
IGPX 2 - I never would have known that Takashi was Haley Joel Osment if I hadn't read the credits...and it has Steven Blum as Cunningham, what more could I ask for?
Trinity Blood - It was the first time I took notice of Troy Baker, he did a good job as father Abel Nightroad and a better one (in my opinion) as Gennosuke in Basilisk

My short list (with reasons):
Azumanga Daioh!: Most of the time, Osaka = Southern accent in dubs. And most of the time, they do it wrong. To my ears, this was a nice change to hear the accent flow more smoothly, rather than piled on thick. The girls are very believable, the two rival teachers are a laugh-out-loud riot. Few if any liberties were taken in changing the jokes and other funny bits that made this a fan-favorite. It also finally made ADV a respected company in dubs, where beforehand, they were lambasted by fans of Evangelion (that infamous Shinji' scream'), The Slayers movies/OAVs and the Kenshin OAVs.
Ranma 1/2: You probably all wonder why I am listing such an old title? Well, for one, if everyone keeps listing Inuyasha and Naruto, those two anime going to get way too much praise. YES, I know, they are currently Viz Media's biggest hits and they -are- very respectible dubs, but Ranma 1/2 was released during a time when dubs from the likes of Central Park Media, Manga Ent., Streamline, ADV (then called, A.D. Vision) and Bandai Ent. (then called AnimeVillage) were mediocre to downright shoddy productions. This was back in 1994-1995-1996 folks. It deserves some honors for that in the least.
Ranma 1/2 and it's 'sister series' that got a cocurrent release, Maison Ikkoku, at the time of their original VHS run starting in the mid 1990s, 'WERE' top-notch dubs. With Ranma 1/2, we get the voice of a certain dog-eared half-demon striking it out with his debut as Ranma Saotome (boy-type) from Season 4 onwards. Plus, having heard the dub for the first time in some 9-odd years (Thanks VIZ for reissuing this series in cheap thinpak box sets), despite the 'fills' and stretched pauses to fit lip-flaps, the performances are otherwise solid. By today's dub standards, this dub is more or less mediocre now, but if you were around at that time when anime was still 'underground', and tapes were $25 a pop for two episodes dubbed, you better had been getting your money's worth...that being a halfway decent dub.
Naruto: I personally think some of the so-called 'Japanophiles'...no wait, they're called 'Narutards' ARE watching this in dub form. Seriously, I really think so. While this dub, like most dubs, started out a bit rough around the corners, everyone has settled into their roles reletively quickly and have turned this into a dub that almost rivals some of the better dubs that are home video-exclusive releases. For a TV-edit dub (though also available in all its uncut glory), this is probably the best you're going to get on the box (or flat panel) for a long time to come. It really shows too, how far anime and dubbing of it, have come from the days of those early-morning wake up calls to watch DBZ and Sailor Moon on your local TV stations.
Now a few more titles with less wordy reasonings:
Fushigi Yuugi: If you have this series, keep this in mind when it was dubbed back in 1998-1999
- Dubs were still only half-way decent, most were not so great. One of Animaze's old works.
- Take note of character pronounciations. While there 'are' some slip-ups here, my ears took note and 95% of the time, they nail the names. One thing of note in Japanese pronounciations...'R's do NOT sound like our English 'R', but they also don't sound like our 'L' sound.
- Then again, I think they (purists) just hated Miaka's dub voice.and how Chichiri lost his 'no da' tag (which is equivalent to Naruto's 'datte-bayo'...thus untranslateable...they had to fill it in with SOMETHING).
Ah! My Goddess: All three parts of this franchise (OAVs, Movie, TV Series), they all have some great work. Dub purists seem to disregard anything and everything but the OAV voicework, but I think that's mostly out of nostalgia. The other dubs (Movie: Animaze/Bang Zoom ~ TV: NYAV Post) were / are also quite good.
Utwawarerumono: John whats-his-name (starts with a 'G'). He has Hakuoro's aura of questioning his past, plus both his authorative and compassionate sides down from episode 1 onwards. His first lead role. Everyone else too...Eluluu and Aruruu are downright adorable....this is just a stellar dub that is unfairly being shoved aside by many people, and this isn't the fault of poor marketing. It's an anime based on a visual novel game that never will get released Stateside, thus it's virtually unmarketable. Anime with a drama / fantasy never sells that well here and is hard to market to the masses. A cryin' shame!
Haruhi Suzumiya: Bandai is known for somewhat hit-or-miss dubs...some work, some fall flat. This one definitly works. Ep 00: was a bit shaky (as is the case with all dubs), but after that from Ep 01 onwards, what improvement. Wendee Lee is a veteran in the business, and she had HUGE shoes to fill as the role of Haruhi. I think her 20+ years in the anime dubbing business has helped in this case....she knew what she had to do, what voice to use (or create a new one entirely for this particular character). She just takes the mic here and I'm pretty sure she's enjoying this one. I know I like what I've heard so far. Haruhi's many moods come through, and poor Kyon is right there, tagging along within all this craziness....and clearly voicing his doubts.
Doesn't it sound like, to anyone else here, that Stephanie Sheh has put on her 'Hinata' voice for Mikuru? Sounds like it to me. Not that it's BAD...I mean, Mikuru is supposed to represent the 'moe' stereotype of anime, so the vocal fits.
Whew....that took a while. ^_^ If more come to me, I'll add them. Do forgive me for any repetitions from other lists here.

Higurashi: When they Cry. If for no other reason then Rena's voice which is one of the greatest done roles I have ever heard. It is a rare perfect, flawless voice.

I know this isn't an anime but the english audio for the game Odin Sphere is fantastic. Every character from the main five playable characters to the one-liners were great in delivery and timing (even though it seems like they went more for accuracy of translation rather than mouth flaps) but it was a great game to play.

Hoo boy. Video game dubs.
You want to see dubs of anything get trashed worse than anime dubs do half the time? Video games, especially RPGs, are where its at. Just hit any gaming forum, you'll see what I mean.
Many of our favorite VAs and studios do tons of video game dubs as well.

These were some really great shows with awesome dubbing shown on Cartoon Network.

Funimation One Piece dub: do I really even need to go into this?
Beck: While the Japanese track might be fun enough to watch just to get a laugh here and there, the Dub really reconnected me with the anime. It sounds awesome, they dealt with the language barrier represented in the the story in an awesome way, and the lyrics were fixed so the songs(aside from the opening) are no longer in ENGERISH! This is probably the best dub I've heard all year.
Speed Grapher: Great dub, not too much to say about it at the moment...but its another one that I prefer to the Japanese. Chis Sabat as Saiga is pure luff, so is Chris Ayers as Suitengu. *drools over the voices*
Mushishi: I haven't gotten very far into the dub, so I don't have much to say about it yet...so I'll edit my post once I watch more. For now, I'll just say that I like this dub. A lot.

Madlax An all star cast of many actors and actresses brought Koichi Mashimo's gripping war story to my attention. Luci Christian shines outside her typecast (she doesn't play a hyperactive girl like usual) as the sweet and out of there Margaret Burton. Kira Vincent Davis brings a motherly touch to Elenore, and I can't deny Mike Kleinhenz wanted me to slaughter his character. But that's because he played the bad guy so well! ADV better get El Cazador de la Bruja.
.hack//SIGN Another all star cast makes the WORLD so real. Kim Mai Guest was the perfect Subaru.
Chrono Crusade 20's Slang, Jessica Boone, Hillary Haag and Greg Ayers hunting demons and trying to save Joshua (Chris Patton) some fantastic playing. Andy McAvin makes the greatest Aion. Oh Applesauce, why can't my best bud see it that way. It's the only dub we don't agree on. Tiffany Grant proved me wrong that she can't hold accents. (Well she didn't with Asuka in Evangelion)

Tsubasa Chronicle Not the greatest Dub I have heard from FUNimation, some shaky performances, but steadily improving. I loved Vic Mignogna and Chris Sabat!
One Piece (re dub) THANK YOU FUNi! Well I haven't seen enough of OP to really know but I've heard stories from OP fans. From what I did see in the Re-dub episode on CN it was FANTASTIC.
Xenosaga: The Animation Another All Star Knockout from ADV films. Makes up for replacing the original cast.
Air Maybe I was a little too hard on Monica Rial after Tsubasa, she exceeded my expectations as well as the rest of the cast for one of my favorite Anime's.
Noir The predecessor to Madlax, and just as fantastic of a dub. Monica Rial was the perfect Kirika.
Rurouni Kenshin (TV) Fun and exciting, Kenshin is very lively and humerous.
Sakura Wars it's just GREAT
Yu Yu Hakusho A classic FUNi production full of humor and respectful to it's original counterpart

Get Backers. Seriously, I loveloveLOVE this series to death, and most of the voices are amazing. The only one that still bugs me is Shido's voice. I just...can't make myself like it.
Heat Guy J! I feel like one of about 15 people who know about this series. ._. Johnny Bosch playing a crazy mafia boss who likes explosions? Freaking win.
