Little trusting brat. She was so close. He could push her head under the water and stand on her neck until she stopped talking. The daydream was quite pleasant, though he knew he would never actually follow through on it, as much as he wanted to. Thank the stars that Lian was nothing like this annoying brat of a foal. This little half pint brat had to be the most annoying Soq to have ever existed. She was like a mosquito that just wouldn't die, that just kept buzzing buzzing buzzing, never landing anywhere that a tail could flick. Except she was worse, the worst a mosquito could do was give a s Soq malaria and kill him. This brat didn't even have the decency to kill him, so he had to just keep hearing her yammer on and on. Apparently her skull was just filled with an endless string of pointless meaningless words. Clearly there was no though involved, or else she might actually think before she spoke, and maybe would speak less. But apparently that was not the case. So it was clear she had no brains. Of course, now he was wondering if maybe she wasn't lost, maybe she had been kicked out by her family. He wouldn't blame them in the least. Was he really doing anyone a service by bringing her home? If her folks didn't want her, then he would be suffering through all of this just to OWE them a debt. That didn't work. And he was less concerned about abandoning the foal alone, because clearly she was too stupid to eat. Any predator wouldn't even be able to get close, because of her nonsense shield. As for the other kinds of danger to a Soq... well, any one who sought to abduct her would get what they deserved. Still, he couldn't just abandon her anymore then he could drown her, though both were unbelievably tempting. So he had to pawn her off on some one. But who? ....... Heha. He owed him a favor after that mess with Hydro. Yes, yes that would do just fine.
Pacuh'a turned and started walking. It was too much to hope that the foal wouldn't follow, he knew better by now, he just hoped he could find his friend before the little one's prattling lead him to loosing his mind. His tail flicked in irritation.

You had to wonder if she wasn't aware of just how annoying he found her. It would be hard to miss the signs and, despite what Pachu'a thought, she wasn't an idiot.

His tail flicked harder. There had to be some one he could foist her off on. He headed to where he thought Heha might be. Yes, of course they were walking again. How stupid could she be. And clearly he was breathing. Why were so many Soqs so obsessed with stating the obvious?

His hind foot stumbled as he walked, because it took phenomenal effort not to kick her in the snout. He snapped his tail instead, wishing it would *accidentally* hit her in the snout. Where was Heha? For that matter, where was anyone? He was no longer being picky. At this rate, he'd leave her with a Kalona, and pity the Kalona.
