The warrior laughed as she listened to the exchange going on between the Lizard and the black horse, she wondered if the horse truly understood the threat. It seemed to, since it allowed the Argonian to mount without the same disagreeable nature it had displayed when she offered it the apple. Celestine was a little jealous because it was the black horse which had caught her eye, but then she was glad the Argonian was dealing with the beast instead of her. The Chestnut Stallion turned out to be very eager under her control, ready to run but complacent with authority also, he was a dream to ride. Though she noticed as the white and black horse took the lead, something the warrior allowed since she didn’t know where she was going, she could feel the chestnut horse desperate to pass the monotone pair. Chuckling she patted the mane of the creature, “Another time, I guess you are used to a master who knows something about direction”
Within what seemed like a short ride they arrived at their destination and Celestine followed Eliya to tack her borrowed horse to the sturdy looking tree. ‘Convenient... she thought, that such a tree should be so close to the entrance. She was about to ask if the others were worried that the Necromancer might have a backup plan or an escape route, until she became distracted by what Eliya was doing. Again she was about to voice an opinion when the elf finished expertly picking the lock. Celestine shrugged, perhaps her ability to open tricky locks on touch would come in use later on and maybe it wasn’t a good idea to waste the power, which she could only seem to use every twenty four hours, on such an easy lock.
The inside of the cave screamed dark and evil, the perfect abode for a Necromancer and the.. ugh walking corpses, she had almost forgotten about those. She toyed with the idea of forgoing sight in this dreary cave as so to lessen her chances of seeing the grotesque creatures. But then not being able to see them also increased her chances of joining the walking corpse army, so she covered her eyes with her hand, which glowed in the softest of blue-green energy. Pulling her hand away she blinked once or twice, allowing her eyes to adjust to the Night-eye effect. She had learnt Illusion magic originally from her parents, but there was one spell in particular that they were fond of. She cast it now, crossing her arms over her chest and her form seemed to blur at the edges and then disappear, not entirely though, a keen eye would still pick out her form, even from the shadows, if they looked right at her. She was not as skilled with the Chameleon skill as her parents and her sync with the spell was estimated to only be about 20%. Still the stealthy members of the group would hopefully appreciate her not drawing the attention of everything in the cave, at least not all at once. For that same reason that stealth was their game and not hers, she took the lead without hesitation, thinking that it was only natural since steel armor offered more protection than robes.
At the end of the decent, Celestine moved with more caution and drew her claymore. Soft growls were echoing off the cave walls, but not only that she could hear a guttural hacking noise that she guessed instantly was the sound of dead things. She held up a hand to her team mates, hoping the lizard wouldn’t take offense, and quickly looked around the corner taking only one, maybe two seconds before dipping back into the shadows. She processed the brief image in her mind, a fair large open space with two corridors leading away and there were no corpses, just two wolves. The warrior knelt and retrieved a stone from the cave floor and then rolled it through the opening of their hallway into the larger chamber. To her, it seemed better to lead the wolves from the chamber to the hallway and dispatch the witless animals where they weren’t likely to attract the attention of the Necromancers and their servants. As she had predicted the quiet noise caught the animal’s attention and she could hear their heavy breathing growing closer. Pressing herself against the wall of the cave, she waited with her weapon ready to catch the first of the critters unprepared. She didn’t doubt that one of her companions would quickly take care of the second wolf.

When they had reached the dilapidated little cave, Reh'Zheel dismounted, shaking off any ticks and fleas the horse may have had been carrying, and crouched as Eylia got to work on picking the lock.
Soon, the rickety wooden door was open to them, the trio steeping inside without a sound.
As Eylia drank form a potion bottle and Celestine cast two spells on her- due to the low light, Reh'Zheel guessed the first was Night eye, as would the Potion the elf drank-, Reh'Zheel too drank from a small glass bottle, the magic of Night Eye taking effect on the Lizard as he shook his head, trying to adjust his vision. Really, only Khajiit were used to the effects of low-light visibility, and given the Argonian people's long and bloody history with the cat people.... well, Night Eye wasn't exactly a preferred spell to use, but it was something Reh'Zheel had to rely on often.
As Celestine went ahead of the group, Reh'Zheel took the middle position, drawing his Ebony Bow and notching an Elven arrow into his fingers, drawing the string back to full tension, awaiting an opponent to appear.
From the sounds of guttral growls coming and footsteps approaching, Reh'Zheel tensed his body- an improper technique to use in archery, but one that was useful when speed was required over accuracy- as the wolves stepped right in front of the Imperial woman.

Eliya~ Eliya took notice as Celestine chameleonized herself. The elf was a bit surprised that the warrior knew illusion magic and mentally she chided herself for making such assumptions. She couldn’t help but wonder if Celestine knew any other schools of magic. Was she a battle mage? Remembering that the warrior hadn’t commented the previous night when Eliya had said she was a mage, she wondered briefly if it meant anything.
The sound of soft growls accompanied by strange guttural noises jerked the redhead’s attention back to the task at hand. Eliya watched as Celestine drew what she imagined were wolves towards them, with the lure of a simple rock clattering across the stone floor. Stealthily and without a sound the elf pulled one of her daggers from its place on her hip. Unhindered by the limited visibility her two companions displayed, Eliya carefully stepped around the corner, giving a very wide birth to Celestine. The last thing she wanted was to get in the way of the blonde’s dangerous claymore. Being invisible had its perks for obvious reasons, but a definite drawback would be getting in the way of the other’s weapons.
Seeing that the first wolf was about to come within range of the warrior, Eliya leapt and deftly positioned herself behind the other canine. She mad no sound, but the ears of the dog twitched as if he smelled something. Though no one was counting, it was as if there was a silent count to three as they attacked. With fast fluid motion the high elf jumped on the second wolf, becoming visible as she did so. Almost too quickly to comprehend she slit the animal’s throat and vaulted away to avoid Celestine’s claymore that she knew would be bearing down.

The warrior was slightly surprised when Eliya suddenly appeared on the back of the second wolf, expertly ending its life. Not that the Imperial wasn’t grateful; she could never have dispatched both wolves with near silence on her own. Fortunately something about the way the elf moved told Celestine to carry on with her attack and sure enough as soon as the second wolf was dead, the elf launched herself out of the patch of the warrior’s Iron Claymore. The metal may have been poor quality but it at least was sharp and as she swung it down on the wolf the sharp edge connected into the back of the wolf’s neck. Though it did not completely sever the head at first it did rupture the spinal column. Though not wanting to allow the beast a final chance at making a sound, as soon as the blade had lodged in the animal’s neck, Celestine twisted her body and pulled her blade back towards her. The final act did the rest of the gory work and the wolf dropped dead, its head at its feet. ‘Well it won’t make a fine pelt...’
Celestine winked at Eliya, her way of saying ‘thank you’ without the sound bringing a horde of zombies down upon them and she didn’t doubt that the mage-assassin could see her, as Celestine could see her. She then motioned at both of them that it was clear, she had after all only seen two wolves in the gloomy cavern. She was right, only two wolves but now she was stuck with the predicament of which tunnel to take. Celestine went no further than a pile of rocks just before where a pool of low mist covered the cave floor. The horrible choking sound could be heard from either tunnel but Celestine was unsure of which one to take first and she also didn’t want to attract attention with her heavy footwear. She turned to face the others and dismissed her Chameleon spell; she would need to recast it before so long anyway. First she looked down at her boots, then at each of the cave tunnels before shrugging her shoulders. Her message which she hoped would be obvious to at least one of them ‘Steel boots don’t do scouting and I have no idea which tunnel we need to take.’ She waited for one of them to comprehend and then recast her blending spell.

An arrow still at the ready, Reh'Zheel watched as the two females brought both wolves down with relative ease. He particularly marveled at the gore fest that Celestine's cleaver caused, the beast having probably felt unimaginable agony in the last few seconds of it's life, unable to move in part because of the blade in it's neck, but mostly because the severed spinal column made any movement physically impossible.
Celestine had dispelled her chameleon incantation, thus allowing Reh'Zheel to see her much more clearly in the dim light. Night Eye helped, but again- Argonians, Khajiit abilities....
When the Imperial woman made some sort of motion to the tunnels, then at her armored feet, Reh'Zheel took it upon himself to move up, choosing the tunnel on the right. His padded feet muffled his steps, the bow ready to fire should anything (living or not) pop out.
Hopefully the others would follow the Argonian, but the time to worry about that was later.
Moving on down the winding tunnel, Reh'Zheel paused as the sounds of a growling... thing grew closer, along with the smell of decaying flesh.
Hiding behind a rock for cover, Reh'Zheel crept as silently as possible to get around the Undead creature, a feat which was relatively easy due to the zombie having no higher reasoning skills. From the smell of the corpse, it was fresh too.
Steadily, the lizard took aim for a minute, lining his shot up perfectly. Releasing his breath, he let the elven arrow fly as his air levels bottomed out, the shot lining up with the zombie's head at the exact angle for massive damage. As the arrow connected, the sheer power behind the razor-sharp head and the fletcher's arm caused the skin and muscle on the copse's neck to tear, severing the head as the nude body fell forward, slumping on it's knees before collapsing into a rotting, stinking pile of flesh.

Eliya~ As Eliya landed she looked over her shoulder to observe as Celestine dispatched the other wolf. The Altmer gave a quick nod in reply to the other woman’s wink as she stood up slowly from the crouching position she’d landed in. The path before the trio split into two corridors, and guttural sucking noises sounded down each. The warrior looked to Eliya and Reh’Zheel, obviously unsure of which direction to take. Before the high elf could choose a direction, Reh’Zheel stepped forward and moved down the right passageway.
Realizing that at this point either hallway would take them to an unknown destination, the elf shrugged and followed the lizard, casting a life detect spell as she did so. Her feet treaded lightly on the stone floor, her leather shoes not making any sound. Eliya paused in response as the Argonian halted. The sounds of the zombies were much closer then they had been moments earlier, the stench of the undead causing the redheaded woman to wrinkle her nose in disgust. Eliya stayed back as Reh’Zheel lined up his arrow on the nearby target, giving the lizard unhindered room to fire his bow. With deadly silence the arrow zipped through the air, severing the head of the undead zombie from its decaying body. Though Reh’Zheel probably couldn’t see her, Eliya gave a nod of appreciation for the expert use of his weapon. The elf moved in front of the Argonian and knelt at the dead corpse, examining it briefly.
Her eyes glanced up quickly, drawn to a singular pink swirl of smoke that suddenly appeared further down the stone corridor. Unless the other two had cast a life detection spell or drank an equivalent potion, Eliya highly doubted they had yet to see the creature. Quickly casting an invisibility spell the elf reached into the folds of her clothes, pulling out two poisoned throwing knives. Eliya sprinted down the corridor, quickly closing the distance between her and the approaching zombie. Expertly flicking her wrists the elf threw her two short knives at the corpse, becoming visible as she did so. The creature barely had the opportunity to let out a hiss as one knife landed in one of its eye sockets, the other in its chest.
The monster didn’t even look down before charging at Eliya. Dammit…that would have worked on a live creature…. Obviously it had been way too long since the elf last fought undead creatures. Gritting her teeth, she simultaneously pulled out her twin daggers and breathed an invisibility spell… disappearing only to move out of the zombie’s way and appear behind as she decapitated his head from his torso. With a sickening thud the body fell to the earthen ground. Cautiously Eliya retrieved her two throwing knives, keeping her eyes open for any other threat.

Celestine followed after Eliya and the lizard, taking extra special care about placing her feet. In fact the way she was moving was rather comical but if they could have seen the expression on her face, they would have seen she was less than amused. She wasn’t into the whole stealth and sneaking around and was wondering when they would finally be forced to take a warrior’s approach, draw sword and hack through everything that moves. Except your team members, if it could be avoided. Once they were far enough away from the other hallway that went off to the left, Celestine was a little less careful with her steps. She wasn’t that bothered about gaining the attention of corpses that were in front of her, she just didn’t want to be snuck up on. But she soon found out that one of those things sneaking up on her would be impossible, if she thought the noises they made were bad before it was ten times worse now and the stench! She clasped her hands over her nose and mouth while resisting the urge to gag and then almost entirely missed Reh’Zheel kill one of those creatures.
The way his arrow pierced the flesh and caused the head to topple from its shoulders filled Celestine with a bit of comfort; at least the buggers weren’t tough to kill. She was thinking about how their rotting bodies must be quite weak to physical attacks when a flash of red, or well a brighter shade of blue-green, caught her attention. Eliya’s attempt at stealth was far less successful but did at least educate Celestine on one point; clearly the monsters didn’t feel pain. Eventually that one was also dispatched in an easy fashion and left Celestine wondering why they were being so cautious. She started to follow after her companions, her attempts at muffling her footsteps forgotten about, until there was a rather cold breeze on her neck. She stopped, paused and then glanced back over her shoulder ‘Ah, so some dead things are capable of sneaking up on you.”
A glowing mass was directly behind her, it seemed to bear the shape of a human head and torso but no legs and it suspended itself in the air, which is why it required no legs. Now facing the creature and its billowing form, there was a moment of pause where neither party did anything, she wasn’t even sure if the others knew this silent dead thing had followed them down the hallway. Celestine was just thinking that the ghost looked remarkably like the mist that had been in the large opening near the entrance to the cave, so that is probably why they missed it. Breaking her chain of thought, the ghost suddenly screeched and she had a hard time moving out of the way fast enough to just dodge the mass of energy it tossed at her. Before she would let the ghost have another chance to cast more spells, she lifted her weapon and slashed at the paranormal apparition. There was another pause, “I suppose I should have guessed that would happen... what now?” her voice was hushed so not to cause an echo in the caves and her question was directly linked to the fact that her weapon had zero effect on the ghost. It passed right through; there wasn’t even a change in pressure like when her blade hit other mediums, it just felt like she was attacking nothing but air. The warrior saw that since she couldn’t harm the ghost there was little point standing right in the its line of fire, so she chose to retreat a short distance and was thankful that the ghost didn’t seem to possess the same speed that the living did.

As soon as the Mort Reh'Zheel targeted had fallen, Eylia had dispatched another Zed, her initial attack all but ineffective. However, the woman made up for the poison blunder with a quick strike to the shambler's neck, decapitating it.
When he thought it was safe to move on, Reh'Zheel turned to motion to the women to move ahead, only to be greeted with a (quite literally) bone-chilling sight- a cloud of mist, moving and dissipating within the air, yet with a human figure inside. Celestine was having trouble with the ghost, but..... huh, for even a basic battlemage, she should've known that Iron and most weapons of the sort had no effect on ethereal creatures such as this.
She was having trouble keeping up with the ghost, barely dodging the magical attacks of the spirit. This wasn't good- Reh'Zheel's moral code told him to either rescue her or step in and kill the thing itself. If Celestine fell, the party would lose their 'muscle' factor.
"Imperial!" said Reh'Zheel, half-whispering as he drew his Daedric longsword, tossing it to the armored woman in hopes that she would know what to do with it.
Creatures like ghosts, ghouls, and some kinds of Daedra were completely immune to all types of weaponry made by human hands, save 2- magically enchanted weapons, and silver. Daedric weaponry was (strangely enough) the one thing that trumped even these two materials, the Oblivion-tempered material able to damage an opponent at their most vulnerable point- their very soul.
Perhaps it's 'demonic' nature was the reason Daedric weaponry was the most feared type of armament in the world. Perhaps it's creation and rituals required to keep the material in good condition were the reason Daedric materials not only made the best armor and weapons, but also had the uncanny ability to kill even the most powerful of Daedra, save the Princes. Nobody knew for sure, but hopefully Celestine would remember this, and know exactly what to do in this situation.

Eliya~ As focused as Eliya was on keeping her sights on any impending danger, she did not detect the spirited undead form behind them until she heard the high pitched screech. Whirling around her eyes widened as the ghostly mist shot a snowball of frost towards the blond warrior. Luckily the woman had fast enough reflexes to dodge the massive energy and it was harmlessly absorbed by one of the stone walls. With lightning fast reflexes the warrior reached out to attack the ghost but as Eliya already knew and Celestine quickly found out, the woman’s weapon had no effect against the apparition.
Eliya knew that her own weapons were no match for the ghost and it was obvious that Reh’Zheel knew his were, for in the amount of time it took for Celestine to wonder what to do next, the Argonian had quickly tossed his Daedric weapon at her. Eliya knew without a doubt that the demon sword would cut down the spirit effectively. Unfortunately, as the elf watched the blond warrior reach out to catch the sword tossed in her direction, she saw that the undead creature was raising its hands to send a deadly attack at the still vulnerable imperial. Thinking quickly Eliya raised her hand and released a spell of silence to mute the spirit and protect the other woman, the only indication of her magic a slight green blur. Her spell would only last for ten seconds but it would be more then enough to allow Celestine to cut down the creature.

Celestine dodged another frosty ball of magic, it was much easier to do from a distance but still she was getting a bit worried about the noise attracting more of decaying creatures, or worse, the necromancer. Dodging another ball of snow she heard the lizard-man’s word, perhaps that was the best time to be a bit put out by the fact he hadn’t called her by her first name But at least the shout caught her attention in time to see the Daedric sword before it collided with her body. Expertly she swapped her claymore into her left hand and plucked the Argonian’s sword from the air into her stronger right arm. While she had been ready to throw herself out of the way of another snowball attack she found it was not necessary as the billowing creature was now silent. Realising someone had cast a silence spell, she chose not to waste this grand opportunity.
It took only two quick, long steps to reach the ghost and with the sword raised high she brought it down with unnecessary force, but Celestine was used to a bulkier weapon. Though she did not doubt that the Daedric sword would work her mind was still expecting the blade to connect with nothing. However this time she felt the blade hit something solid and watched with amazement as the weapon rendered the creature in half ‘Daedric weapons really are something. Shame I have to give it back...’ She would give it back there was no reason to doubt that, but she was momentarily distracted by the strange ooze the ghost left behind. Thinking back to her textbook on alchemy it had said something about the magical properties of ingredients taken from the reanimated dead. Though she wasn’t keen on the idea of sampling or carrying around pieces of rotting flesh, the tiny and mostly inoffensive sludge was interesting to her.
Kneeling down she prodded the jelly like substance, feeling only a that it was frigid and a little static energy seemed to harmlessly flow down her finger. Oddly the warrior stuck the tiny sample on her tongue. Now the book did say that sampling ingredients was a good way to determine what they did and how powerful the effects were. But it did also warn against doing that before at least researching the item. “Ooooo eh ung esh um.” aside from shocking her tongue into being numb, she also noticed her night eye and chameleon effects dissipated. When she recast them however, she didn’t feel as drained as she normally would and quickly realised the paranormal discharge was restoring magicka. Quickly she collected the rest of the ooze into a vial and swiftly stood up. Celestine staggered slightly and realised she was feeling a little ill, the final property of Ectoplasm was to damage health. Still she had only tasted a little and already her tongue was regaining feeling, she shook off the sickness and rejoined the others.
“’anks!” the fact she was still incapable of making the “Th” sound didn’t seem to bother her as she handed the Daedric weapon back to its rightful owner. Seeing as they had been rather noisy, or well she had been noisy, she took point and led the group down the tunnel in a chamber that was twice the size of any of the previous spaces. The room was vast but only contained three of the walking corpses. Unfortunately their close proximity to one another would make it difficult for stealth to work, and also the warrior wasn’t keen on returning to boring stealth attacks after the skirmish with the ghost. Drawing her weapon she did what members of the fighter’s guild were best known for, running in sword drawn without really thinking of some kind of plan. Of course she did have a plan and no doubt her companions would be all too happy to oblige, so long as they realised what she was doing. She did not go for a killing blow on the creatures instead she was defensive. While dodging and deflecting their attacks she was keeping the monsters sufficiently distracted, not a difficult task to begin with when dealing with creatures of limited mental capacity. But her efforts would keep the zombies from discovering her companions, thus making the possibility of stealth attacks more likely to work. Or at least Celestine hoped Eliya and Reh’Zheel would catch on soon before one of the rotting flesh beasts got a cheap shot in.

Celestine had taken point, leading the group into a large antechamber of a room. This enclosure had but 3 corpses within, but they weren't quite normal. Sure, there were zombies, but with Necromancers and cave, there had to be more undead lurking about.
Seeing Celestine conduct battle with one of the shamblers- from her tactics and lack of stealth, he guessed the Imperial was running a distraction- Reh'Zheel abandoned his crouched pose, standing straight upright for a better view and notching two Silver arrows into the draw string of his Ebony bow. Taking aim, he selected his target- the Mort in the rear of the room- and let both arrows fly simultaneously, swiftly 'reloading' his bow and letting two more arrows loose, the razor-headed barbs whizzing through the air to embed themselves into the zombie's torso.
The Argonian repeated this procedure a few more times, until the shambler had fallen over and refused to get back up. All in all, Reh'Zheel had fired about 14 arrows into the undead b*****d. Now all that was left was to wait for his companions to take out the remaining undead and retrieve his ammunition.
The second part would have to wait however, as Reh'Zheel heard the creak of long-dead bones rustling from one of the chambers further into the cave, the scrape of metal along the cavern's rock walls signaling to the monsters that were coming.
From the sound of the creaking, and the weight behind the metal's sound, Reh'Zheel guessed it would be Skeletons. At least 2 of them, armed with high-quality weaponry, possibly Silver or Dwarven materials. This meant that (given their superior weaponry) the Necromancer had resurrected the corpses of two Guardians.
Without hesitation, Reh'Zheel drew his Daedric longsword and held the blade in a defensive position, awaiting the monsters to appear, knowing that his tiny elven dagger, no matter how enchanted, could stand up to a creature made purely of bone.
His robes provided some protection, but as any acrobat could tell you, for the coming fight the best thing to do was to simply avoid being hit.

Eliya~ Eliya was relieved when Celestine successfully cut down the spirit creature. If the elf had been alone she would have resorted to stealth to sneak by the ghost; there was no way she that by herself she would have had any hope of dispatching it. As these thoughts ran through Eliya’s mind she realized not for the first time that it might be advantageous for her to save up and purchase a silver weapon. It will be the next thing I get on my list, she promised herself mentally.
The Altmer followed behind Celestine and Reh’Zheel as they walked down the corridor and into a large chamber; the largest chamber they had seen thus far actually. Three undead were there to greet them on the far side of the room. Unfortunately they saw the creatures about the same time the creatures saw them so there was very little room for surprise and stealth. It would appear that the Imperial woman had a different approach in mind anyways because as soon as they entered she charged the trio of zombies, her claymore weaving a wall of defense and distraction.
Eliya thought quickly as the Argonian let loose a flurry of arrows at one of the mort creatures. If she recalled correctly, these undead were vulnerable to fire. The elf summoned a flame of fire and shot it across the room to the last creature that was rapidly closing the short distance between them. It hissed as the flames contacted against its decayed skin and almost too quickly to see Eliya shot another burst of fire at it. Visibly on fire, it still kept coming in her direction and the space between them shrunk quickly. With a flash of green Eliya disappeared just in time to avoid a dangerous swipe. She reappeared and reached out to touch the creature with a commanding touch.
His attacks stopped as he turned and began moving towards the hallway where the sound of a couple more creatures could be heard approaching. Eliya let a out a breath she hadn’t even realized she was holding just as two skeleton guardian's appeared. She could tell from their fine weapons that they had likely been summoned by the very necromancer the trio were here to dispatch. That meant the dark sorcerer was aware of their presence.
The zombie she had commanded began attacking the two guardians but it was immediately cut down and all too quickly the creatures made of bone advanced. Acting out of pure instinct Eliya once again became invisible, her form shimmering with a slight green before disappearing completely.

Celestine staggered back and winced as it seemed dire that one of the three zombies was about to get in that cheap shot she had hoped to avoid. However, much to the warrior’s relief, the zombie’s attention was drawn away as several high quality arrows plunged into its flesh. Again Celestine could appreciate that these creatures clearly could not feel pain and no matter how precise a wound you made it did not stop their advance. Only inflictions of the mortal kind, such as beheading seemed to work. So when another of the zombies was drawn away by fire, Celestine moved quickly to take care of the final flesh beast. Initially she blocked the mort man’s assault as she had done all the other times, but this time instead of just deflecting the warrior shoved back against his attack. Having pushed back her foe the warrior took a few steps back herself and then ran forward and using the momentum of a small leap, brought her iron weapon down on the zombie’s head. Though it did the trick rending the zombie in half, because of the quality of her blade it stopped short of just shot of actually cleaving the corpse in two.
Already disgusted by the oozing brain matter she thought better of finishing off her grizzly attempt at hacking it clean down the middle and just settled on pulling her weapon out from the zombie’s chest. She didn’t want its putrefied guts on her boots as well. While looking up to see how her companions had faired with their opponents, she became aware that Eliya was missing and that Reh’Zheel was advancing her direction. While betrayal did cross her mind, it quickly became all too apparent why the mage-assassin was missing and that Reh’Zheel was actually advancing on the two creatures she had failed to notice behind her. She spun around and jumped back just in time to avoid a mace on the back of her skull. Two skeletons and not the average kind either, both were equipped with fair quality weapons and a shield. The Imperial raised her weapon to attack the closest Guardian but it just clanged uselessly off its shield. Celestine had heard from someone once that if you ever faced a skeleton the best way to kill it was with a large weapon and a powerful strike. Their aged bones were supposed to be brittle and so a strong attack would cause their form to break apart. However these two had shields and that was enough to make that tactic easier said than done, if only she could get behind them.Celestine Danver

The zombies- now 're' dead- were taken care of, but Reh'Zheel knew from experience that the Bones would prove more of a challenge.
Celestine was already having problems with one, barely holding her own against the monster's steel shield. The good news, however, was that this left the skeleton completely vulnerable to attacks from behind. The bad news? Blades were all but ineffective on the skeletons unless one severed the spinal column.
Creeping up behind the corpse that was dueling with the Imperial, Reh'Zheel used the base of his longsword to knock a blow against the creature's skull.
Unfazed, the creature hissed with rage as it turned to face the Assassin, raising it's weapon high as it was about to strike a blow.
The mace came down with the crushing force that only necromancy could muster. The weapon was barely deflected by the demonic material of Reh'Zheel's blade, causing the creature to stumble back. Seeing his chance, Reh'Zheel struck another handle blow against the beast's skull.
"CELESTINE! NOW! THE SPINE! SEVER IT!" he hissed at Celestine, his reptilian inflection becoming more apparent as the tension in the room rose.

Eliya~
Eliya watched from behind her protective wall of invisibility as her companions fought against the undead guardians. The mage could see that Celestine was barely holding her own against one of the skeletons, but Reh’Zheel had quickly seized the advantage and position himself behind the enemy, proceeding to attack and yell at the warrior to help finish the job. The mage assassin’s attention was quickly diverted away from her companions as she suddenly realized that the other creature was only a few feet away, and quickly coming at her. Dammit! She had been so focused on Celestine and Reh’Zheel that she hadn’t realized her invisibility spell had worn off.
Summoning a ball of fire she shot the flame at the approaching guardian, bending from the waist horizontally backwards as its mace swung towards her neck. Eliya felt a rush of air as the guardian’s weapon missed her unprotected throat by nanoseconds. The elf rolled to the side and hit the ground as the guardian’s shield bashed the empty space she had just inhabited. Quickly Eliya scrambled to her feet, simultaneously drawing her short sword. With a flick of her fingers she quickly sent another flare of fire at the skeleton as it jumped at her. Once again she barely managed to duck out of the way of the deadly mace, unfortunately this time the undead’s shield connected with her legs and sent her crashing to the stone floor.
Eliya’s legs screamed at her but her attention was on the skeleton and the mace he was about to bring crashing down on her. Her heart thumped against her ribcage at what felt like a million miles a minute and time seemed to slow down for the briefest moment as she struggled to figure out how to escape what seemed like a certain end. In slow motion she looked over to where her two companions were across the room. Bringing her gaze back up to the mace that was slowly descending upon her she was hit with inspiration. Snapping back to real time she rolled out of the way as the bone crushing mace slammed into the rocky floor, centimeters away from her face.
Eliya did a large backwards summersault and landed on one knee, her other hand extended, pink tendrils of magic emanating from her fingertips. Clasping her hand she pulled the air in a downwards motion, and from the ceiling of the cavern, a large stalagmite fell in front of her, crushing the guardian skeleton’s bones to dust.
