I love Gail and her show Debt Do Us Part. I didn't realize she had a website, and she does! and it has some good goodies.

United States Geological Survey Website

If you are a geology nerd like me you will love this site. It provides information on things such as plate tectonics, earthquakes, and groundwater.

Let's just kill a couple hundred animals to see if we are killing them the same way that others died. *angry and hurt* It breaks my heart to see how some people treat other forms of life. Killing for food is one thing, but this:

Quote:
started thinking about this last year when I had a pig roast at my house. A bunch of people told me that even though they loved eating pork, they really didn't want to think about the fact that the pig used to be alive. That just seemed irresponsible to me. I don't have an issue with anything people choose to eat, but I do think they should take responsibility and be thankful for what they eat rather than trying to ignore where it came from.

For the techies here. I find this stuff fascinating---especially the fact that only the lowest part of the cloud deck is featured in this animation. Can you imagine how huge the entire structure was??

NWS has also been using Youtube videos to study this tornado, and they believe that it went from formation to EF-5 in 15 seconds.

Remember that lady in michigan that was taken to court because she had a veggie garden in her front yard? She has a blog all about her garden Oak Park Hates Veggies.

Oh, and all charges were dismissed.
