"Okay, those're nice... do you need any uh... socks... and stuff?" A wave of awkwardness crashed on him and decided to stay. "I mean, unless you're fine on that stuff... you don't have to get anything." He shrugged, awkwardly looking around the store. It was then that he realized how strange he must look, hanging out with a small child that wasn't even his. A small FEMALE child at that. The paranoia Kagyaku instilled in him began to raise it's ugly head and crowd his thoughts... what could these humans be thinking? They were all wrong, of course. They were always wrong, they were human. But still, the very idea that they might be thinking what he thought they were thinking freaked him out.

Moira blinks slowly before making her way to the socks area, which was right next to the shoes. After picking out a rather plain pair of socks, white with blue toes, she looks back up to Deskri. Noticing that he seemed to be freaking out, the pink haired girl walked back over to him and tugged on his pant leg, "You Ookay, Panda?" She asks curiously, not really caring if humans looked at them strangely seeing as she could stare back at them with greater intensity and if they dare try to do anything, she'd kick their a**!

"Yeah, I'm fine... oh I forgot about shoes... you don't really want to wear Alice's old shoes do you?" He shuffled over to the shoes with her, casting a glare at anyone that dared to look in their direction. Humans were such disgusting creatures... ugh. He began to wonder why the school hadn't come up with their down department store for the Metas to go to instead of forcing them to wander off campus to mingle with the humans.
"Shoes are expensive so... one pair." He waved a hand at the sneaker section. "These'll last longest."

"Sneakers.." She repeated as she looked at the large selection of Children's sneakers in a variety of colors and color combination's, some nice, some eye burningly horrible. It didn't take her too long to pick out a pair of shoes, seeing as she wasn't too picky, so she picked out a pair of black high-top converse.

"Okay, those'll do." Deskri took the clothes and the shoes from her and then headed up to the checkout desk, where the girl at the register gave him a once over and some kind of disapproving stare. That of course resulted in a head of bright red hair and an angry glare, which stayed with him the entire time she was scanning and bagging the items, up until the point when he turned to leave the store.
"Okay... I need to get some pants, so we've gotta stop in here for a second." Deskri paused at the door of some store with a very dark looking interior. Most of the clothes and other things inside were black, red, or other dark colors but there was the occasional neon pink, green or even some yellow. Deskri immediately made his way over to the pants, but kept an eye on what Moira was doing. This shop wasn't exactly meant for little kids to be in, despite the baby clothes in one corner.

Moira stayed near his side as the clothes got rung up and they walked through the mall to the rather dark looking store, one where she stuck out like a sore thumb. As 'Mr. Emu Panda' went off to look at the pants, the little bundle of energy made her way through the store, picking up a few things here and there and playing with it and putting it back down. That was until she got to the spiked bracelets.
She was about to pick up and try on a rather heavy, metal pair of spiked bracelet/bracers but someone had grabbed them before she could take them. It was a rather tall, dark looking man who chuckled at her. "Sorry, Pinky, these aren't for kids." He said with a soft laugh before putting the bracers on. The comment that was made wasn't one that Moira wanted to hear, which wasn't good. "JERK!" She shouts before kicking the man HARD in the shin and then the crotch, getting a rather lovely girly scream out of him.

Deskri looked up from his search just in time to see Moira's kicking combo. One part of him was freaking out in general, this was utter social embarrassment, the other part of him was just pissed off beyond reason at the man for insulting his... well... almost-not-really niece. The latter half overruled the social embarrassment half and he strode over to where the man was hunched over on the floor and stared down at him with eyes that were steadily turning red and gaining a sort of crazed look to them.
"What the ******** were you thinking? She's a ******** toddler, you don't talk to toddlers like that you retard!" The words poured out his mouth with a most angry tone, somewhere between a hiss and a shriek. "Stay the hell away from my niece, human." And with that, he turned, grabbed Moira's hand and then stomped out of the store. "We're going to Sonnet's house." He announced and then started for the academy, ignoring any baffled stares in their direction.

When Deskri stormed over, the girl seemed to back away from the man who she had kicked, half expecting him to yell at her for harming a stranger, she was quite shocked to see and hear that he was yelling at the human, his colors changing again. Moira looked rather confused as her hand was grabbed and they made their way out of the store and back towards the Academy. "Pants?" She asked in a confused tone, thinking that he needed them.

"I'll order them online or something. I'm done being around these people." Deskri looked back at her and slowed his pace down. "Just know this now, Humans are not to be trusted. They'll take advantage of you whenever they can." He looked ahead again, still angry enough to have red hair and eyes. His normal colors probably wouldn't return until after they arrived at Sonnet's house. She had a way of calming him down no matter how angry he was.

"Online..?" She whispered, watching him and just nodding slightly before stopping and thinking, "Wha' aboot fwends who has hoomans as parents?" Moira asked with a questioning look in her eyes, thinking about many of the Metas that she had come into contact with.

"Yeah, online." He shrugged a little. "Uh..." He looked back to Moira, thinking. "THOSE humans are fine, but the others aren't until they prove themselves." He nodded, satisfied with his answer. "We're here." He nodded at the house in front of them and started up to the door. Once there, he knocked three times and waited for Sonnet to come answer.

"Be there in just a minute!" came a voice from the other side of the door, followed by a clang of some sort and perhaps a few grumbles. After a few moments the door opened, and Sonnet came into view, covered in flour and other such things. She had an apron on, though it was obvious it had done her little good.
"Hey there Deskri!" she chirped. She restrained against hugging, being the mess that she was before looking at the bright pink mop besides him. "Hello Moira," she said sweetly before moving out of the way to let them inside.
"Lunch is...in progress," she said with a slight embarrassed tone. "Mom and the kids are out shopping for the day, having mother/children time. Since Cedric grew he's had better control of his..." she paused for a moment. "Anger problem."
She headed towards the kitchen, where there was a very pleasant smell coming from. "I'm making fish, cod to be more accurate, for me and Moira. I'm making chicken for you so you'll actually eat..."

The girl just nodded, not wanting to make 'Panda' change his colors, seeing as she sort of liked Deskri's 'natural' hair color. Red just didn't suit him. As they made their way to the house, Moira stood there rather calmly, even as there were rather hectic sounds coming from within. Not to mention Sonnet suddenly emerging covered in flower and in a mess.
"Hi strange lady, are you Emu Panda's friend?" She asks suddenly, still holding onto Deskri's hand.

Deskri stared at Sonnet blankly for a moment, mind slow to catch up to what he was seeing. "O-oh, you didn't have to do that Sonnet, really..." He adopted a sort of awkward smile and then looked down at Moira. Had he forgotten to tell the girl Sonnet's name? He tried to remember, but couldn't ever pick out a moment where he'd directly told her.. no... he'd just offhandedly mentioned Sonnet.
"Not strange lady, this is Sonnet. And she's my best friend." He responded. "Sorry... I guess I forgot to tell her where we were going."

Sonnet couldn't help but stifle a snicker at the 'Emu Panda' part of that statement.
"Yes, I am Emu Panda's friend," she said with a smile. Deskri had already said it, so she merely nodded and added a 'yup'.
"Well I know you and you're eating habits and I wanted to make you something you wouldn't just pick at and nibble just to be polite." she said with a grin.
She dusted off most of the flour and other things that could be dusted off. "You two can sit down at the table. Lunch is almost ready"
