Death   Death smiled and nodded at Life, holding her close and holding her gently. He smiled and kissed the top of her head before yawning a little bit himself.
"I need some sleep as well... You will have fun tomorrow I hope," he added with another small smile, rubbing her back.

Death Death slowly woke as he heard Life speaking to him, lovely Life, and he knew that his nightmares were not true. In truth, he had slept very little, unable to, like always, because of the nightmares. But Death never told Life this, and as far as he could tell, she never knew, and didn't know, even to this day.
"I slept well my love. And today, I have a picnic and something special planned," he said as he picked her up and set her down on the ground. He stretched and popped his back, then smiled and kissed her. "But first, I vote for a refreshing swim and a change of clothing before we go to the picnic. How does that sound?"

Death Death smiled and kissed her again before leading her to the ocean, and then pulled her gently into the water with him.
"I'm glad that you like it my love," he chuckled and then kissed her as he gently held her close to him, sitting in the water. "Don't let go..."

Death Death smiled and went further into the water, holding her tightly. Motioning slightly enough that she wouldn't feel the current, he summoned an aquatic-ish seat and sat in it, holding her tightly to him.
"I love you," he said softly and kissed her, then nuzzled her neck, kissing her neck softly as he slowly bathed her with the water. He did the same for himself, but only after she was bathed. Making sure that they both were bathed well, he then took them back to the shore and to the hut. He gently changed her clothing before changing his own clothing quickly, and then quickly swung her up into his arms, carrying her to the meadow that held their picnic lunch. The flowers glittered with jewels, and Death gently set her upon the ground as he skillfully wove a jewel flowered crown for her, setting it gently upon her head.

Death Death smiled as Life blushed and kissed her again, then kissed her cheek and her neck, all the way to the collar of her dress, and followed her collar with his kisses before kissing her once again on the lips.
"I love to make you smile, and to see you happy," he said in answer to her unspoken question in her eyes.

Death Death smiled and kissed Life again, the held her close to him as he opened the picnic basket, revealing a fresh fruit salad, a fresh green salad, and good sandwhiches.
"I am sure you will wat something, not matter how simple it is. I am sorry I couldn't make anything more elaborate, but I'm not a wizard in the kitchen like you are," he added with a slight chuckle, kissing her shoulder before getting out the utensils and stuff needed to eat.

Death Death chuckled at her response, but nibbled the strawberry he offered her. He then ate a bite of his own food, flushing a little when his stomach rumbled gratefully.
"I suppose I was rather hungry," he said with a laugh.
