The little girl was harmless, but Parker had never been terribly good with kids. He shook droplets of water from his hand, and then wiped his palm off on the leg of his still-damp jeans. "I'm not sorry," he said, shaking his head. The adult in the booth suddenly became more apparent to him. So he quickly added, "You had a decent throw. But I'm not sorry because that water is really, really cold. Colder than your water." That much was true. He just didn't want to look like he was bullying some kid.
When Istas went to fetch his prize, Parker noted the hesitation. That couldn't be good. He shifted, trying to peer at whatever the girl was rifling around for. Would Dani like whatever gift she pulled out? He hoped so. Parker wasn't really one for carnival games. He preferred the video game kind.
The little girl reappeared with an animal that was vaguely dog and vaguely rabbit. He held it up, patting one long ear. "Uh, cute," he said, but it was hardly convincing. "Hopefully my girlfriend will appreciate it more than me." It felt good to refer to Dani in this casual way again after months of thinking she was dead. The warmth of it made him smile.
Tipping some sort of salute to the little girl, Parker started to leave than paused. "There's a new girl at the booth now. You should go try your aim on her." And then he was gone, drabbit well on its way to Dani's doorstep.

The booth had gotten quite busy. Istas was helping her mother, there were lots of mystery prizes too!! Ariel's, Aitana's, Gigi's, Ellie's and Lily were all taken care of as quickly as Istas could manage. It took a bit because she actually had to dig into the boxes to find what the girls won.
For Chi, Demy's prizes were easier. She got the largest panda bear they had, which was actually probably the size of Istas. Chi looked impressed at the boy having pulled the 10 and grinned softly as she handed him his three prizes. "You seem to be extra lucky." She said with a nod of her head. The donkey and gerbil were dwarfed compared to the Panda he'd won.
