Kaname blinked as he watched his fish get carried off. 'did my fish just get stolen?' he said blankly. Shaking his head he laughed and quickly widened his steps to catch up with the fish grabbing vixen. "Ah may I ask where we might be going?" he stated looking up. Dusk had started to past but light was still pretty abundant due to the full moon.

Himeko giggled, tail wagging. "Yup, I have your fish now!" She twitched her tail his way when he joined her side, swinging the fish in her mouth side to side. She knew exactly where they were going, to a pyramid, of course! They were Kemet's highlights, that and the beautiful sand and river. She didn't answer him, padding ahead quicker.
She spotted the pyramid quickly, heading over and stopping before one, plopping the fish down and smiling at Kaname. "Isn't it beautiful?"

"It is very beautiful. It used to be more when there was a white coating on it and it practically glowed in the sunlight." Kaname smiled as they finally reached their destination. However when Kemet fell the first time the pyramids had taken the most damage. "Some time I should take you to another one of Kemet's treasures. It is very beautiful especially at sunset. Horus likes to keep it a bit of a secret so..." kaname started raising his paw to his muzzle.

Himeko giggled, shaking her head. "Oh don't worry, I won't tell." He would show her somewhere? Some time? So he would come back? Her ears raised, a small smirk on her lips. "I'll keep you to that promise then." She mewled, nudging the fish Kaname caught back to Kaname.
She found herself actually hoping the sun would not rise for a long time. The vixen tilted her head at Kaname, tail flicking. "So, why'd you leave Kemet?"

"Well then I will try my very best not to disappoint you" Kaname stated before tearing into his fish. He paused a bit before working on his answer for her question"
"I was mad at the modeities they left us to fend for our selves and my whole life had changed. I got into a fight with Horus who had lost more than I had and we parted on really bad terms." Kaname stated with a sad voice. He shook his head. "Enough depressing thoughts however."

Oh... he had left because of a fight? Because of what had happened before she joined the tribe? She turned her head, wondering what it would be like to see Kaname every day, to see the flying phim everyday. Sharing food together and working together in the tribe. What would he be? A scout? A hunter? A carer? He wasn't the expressive type....but honestly she didn't mind. He made her laugh. He made her happy. Wasn't that what friends did?
Friends? She... no... She just needed a friend, no one else.
"You know...the tribe is better now...I think. Horus seems happy, the tribe is better. I haven't been accepted yet, but I don't have any plans to leave. Maybe you could..." She flushed darker, shaking her head.
"Forget it."

"maybe I could join?" Kaname stated in a soft voice finishing her statement and looked up at the sky. It did have its advantages. He could see Himeko more often. She has a certain gentle aura around her that was different from the other foxes he had known. To him it was soft and inviting. Then again sneaking into the tribe at night and past both Horus and Himeko's sister Hollow also had some fun adrenaline points as well. He worried his lip a bit thinking. It was true he liked kemet, he knew it as well as Horus did having gone through the same training, not to become the insibya but to learn the magic in kemet as his family had been priests. " I don't know, I could try there is a lot of interesting blood I guess between me and Horus but I will give the suggestion a through thinking over"

She nodded as he finished her sentence, glancing upwards. She didn't respond to him, mulling it over. He would think about it, or so he had said, and she hoped he would agree. Though, she wasn't going to pester him. If he had another home to go to then that was fine, and if she never saw him again....well....in the end that would be fine too. Or would it? She hoped this wouldn't happen though.
Her ears pricked upwards as she realized maybe he had a home to go to. A family. Kits? A mate? She awkwardly nibbled into her fish, thinking this over. If he had a mate and kits why would he be here and not with them? Though, the possibility was still there.
"Do you have a family?" She questioned gently.

Kaname watched her silently as she seemed to maul over something using the time to silently eat his fish. It felt weird to talk to so much about himself but strangely enough he was okay with it. Suddenly she seemed to have come out of her thoughts and her question made him choke on his fish; where in the world had that come from “Family… me?” He asked and violently shook his head. “No... No I dont have any family. Its just me going where ever I want to go, although that is a bit lonely as of late."

Oh! So he didn't have a mate and kids? It did sadden her to hear he didn't have any family, not even siblings or parents, but she had grown up without any parents either. Well, her life had been easier, she always had Hollow there for her. Kaname? He had said he was lonely, said he had no family. He didn't have even a sister or brother like she had.
"Oh, I'm sorry." She said, eyes flicking over his way to watch him. Had she offended him perhaps? She lifted her head, shaking her head and sighing softly.

"No need to apologize, I have memories of my parents and one day I'll hopefully have my own family. I can look forward and plan for that. I haven't...." Kaname trailed off and shook his head. Was it true he hadn't found some one that he would even think of starting a family with. He looked over towards Himeko for a few seconds and then drew deep in thought for a second.

Himeko tilted her head at the cut off sentence, however nodded gently. She finished her fish, glancing upwards to see Kaname in thought. He seemed to do that a lot, quiet and thoughtful. It was calming to meet someone like that, even though she did wish she knew what he thought about. Himeko smiled to herself, turning to look at the water.
Thats when she saw it.
A large green bump slithered over the top of the water, near where they were. It slipped back into the watery depths, however Himeko was not reassured. She turned around to look at Kaname.
"Kaname?! I saw something!"

Kaname drew himself out of his thoughts to glance over at the water. The surface was clear now expect for a few ripples however Kaname knew that even if the surface of the water was clear it didn’t mean anything. “Well then should we go back to the main pyramids for a while then” Kaname stated. Even if they moved away from the water crocodiles, and this was if himeko had seen one, could lunge out at amazing speeds and go about 25 miles per hour on land. It was just safer to leave.

Himeko nodded, padding up beside Kaname and nudging him with her nose. "I probably didn't see anything, it must be the night frightening me." She sighed, rubbing her cheek with a paw. She really did freak out about everything, didn't she? She just hoped she really hadn't seen anything, she could still remember the dangers Horus had spoken of before if you were not careful in the desert.

“If you are sure, but don’t double guess yourself” Kaname stated although he carefully looked over the water’s surface. The problem with crocodiles is that they often played tricks with your eyes right before they attacked. Normally they didn’t go after modifoxes but if they where hungry enough. He turned to look at Himeko again and wished she would be more positive and confident on what she saw or wanted to say.
Kaname opened his mouth to say something and at that moment the water erupted upwards. Kaname grabbed Himeko and wrenched them both backwards. Pain went through his entire body at the impact and he could feel something warm and sticky on his leg. He turned his head back towards the crocodile and wondered why time seemed to be going so slow.
(lol and I left it open on who got attacked *bricked*)
