"I can grab it and swing it by on my way to work." he glanced up, reached for the fixture and found himself just able to reach. Starting there he swapped out bulbs and turned on the light. "And let there be light." he shot Nyx a sideways smile.

She chuckled and clapped. "Hurrah!" Light was important for sitting in a room and doing paper work all day. "If it isn't too much trouble, sure. It'll save me worrying if Newton forgot what a lightbulb was in favor of raiding the kitchen."

"Ahh yes, I know that problem. Food is very distracting, and so much more interesting then light bulbs." He got to work, picking up the glass first and then getting everything neatly arranged back on the desk. "Looks like it isn't as bad as I thought, or did you manage to convince your pokemon to clean up?" he asked as he worked.

"Only the pillows and toys. I don't trust anything lacking hands to pick up glass." She chuckled a little. "I didn't actually ask Mendel to pick anything up, but she gets irate when things are a mess."
The Meganium lifted her head and looked with approval at Panther and his cleaning job.

"Ahh, a good choice. Seems we owe Mendel an apology too, which pokemon is Medel?" he gave Nyx a glance as he cleaned and then returned his attention to the mess, almost done now.

"Mendel is the Meganium, there." The large sauropod with the white flower looked mildly annoyed that someone didn't know her name. Everyone should know her name, she was wonderful. Not to mention vain. But the look faded into one of pride, awaiting praise and apologies.
"You know, Newton went through a... difficult phase." Nyx started, sounding vaguely nostalgic, but the way a parent did when telling a story about that one time their child licked the electrical socket, "Of course, he was a drifloon, so he was easy to lose sight of; he was constantly getting into trouble. Mostly in the kitchens. I just couldn't get him under control..." Newton looked up from his coloring, she still didn't have him under control, he thought, it just so happened that he wanted the same things as she did. That was false, though. All the pokemon wanted was pretty girls, jelly, video games, and some crayons. These were not on Nyx's priority list, but they were on the 'things to reward Newton's good behavior with' list.

"Ahh, most ghost types go through that phase, well, Shade never did much but Shadow, ugh, he's never gown out of it." he finished and looked up at the large plant pokemon. "You won't get much of an apology out of Shadow, but I'm sorry for the trouble." He reached up to put a hand on Mendel's head, but though better of it, not knowing if the pokemon would care to be touched. "You did a good job cleaning, but I should probably go get a broom or something to double check the glass. I don't see any pieces, but you usually don't till you step on them." the last comment was directed at the Meganium, but was as much for Nxy as it was for the large pokemon.

The Meganium nodded proudly and kept her head held high. It was look pretty time.
"I really do appreciate it," Nyx smiled, looking between her grass type and Panther, "It doesn't seem fair that you have to work so hard because of your pokemon, and I would insist that I could take care of it myself... if I could." She chuckled a little. Vacuuming was still not something she was up to doing.
"Ahh well. Maybe your Shadow will grow out of it in time. Or at least get trained out of it. I had to put in quite a bit of work with Newton, and he is usually very well behaved... But I still have to keep him away from Miss Nadja." Newton looked up at the mention of the sexy red headed elite's name. "He has a problem keeping his hands to himself."

He turned away to hide what only could be described as a sadistic smirk. "I feel your pain." but there was a note that seemed a bit like laughter, inappropriate for the words. By the next sentence he managed to get rid of it. "And don't worry about my hard work because of my pokemon, I'm used to it by now. I might as well do your whole floor then, that way it will be a while before you'll need to con a grunt into doing again."

"Oh, no. I'm happy as long as I don't have to extract glass from the foot of an angry dinosaur or giant turtle." She grinned playfully. "And I enjoy tricking the lower ranks into cleaning for me. If you clean everything, you deny me of my games!"

"Then I will have to save some poor grunt the pain. You'll have to find other games, like 'carry my tray' and 'come help me find that thing under my bed' in order to lure unsuspecting grunts into your evil clutches." he walked to the door and glanced back. "I'll be back soon enough, want me to close the door?"
