Krissie had only gotten up a few minutes ago and was in the shower now. Starting her morning routine. She wouldn't be downstairs for another half hour.

Outside on the porch, Ahulani, Kiona, and Idris were chatting, discussing Caiden and Vellir missing for the night. Katie had brought Idris home for Krissie as a late Christmas gift, the red girl had been waiting at the StarDust compound for some time. Miette was curled up on the rug, she wasn't to interested in what was going on at the moment. She was just as new here and didn't really feel comfortable, besides, Nyx was a bit intimdating. The pink and red Serpent was a bit smaller than average.

Caiden had exited the forest edge now and was walking at a leisurely pace towards the houses in view. Katie and Krissie's house wasn't the closest one to the field, but it was still fairly close.

Caiden didn't stop walking when Nyx approached. His good mood was rather spoiled right then and there with the beginning or Nyx's questions, "What I've been doing is none of your concern, Nyx. As for Vellir, she's grown up now, she's perfectly capable of taking care of herself and making her own decisions." He just wanted to get away from the Serpent, get some food, and get back. That is, without the Serpent following him and pestering him. Sighing, he kept walking for the house, his pace speeding up a little bit.

Caiden jumped up onto the porch and walked in just as Krissie came down stairs. "Hey Caiden! About time you showed up!" Caiden gave Krissie a nice chirp in response and helped himself to the jerky and water. He needed something for Vellir though. He finished up with his food quickly enough and began searching around the kitchen he could take back with him.

But he knew he wasn't going to anything unless Krissie or Katie helped him out. Finally, he turned to Krissie, who had seated herself at the table. He tugged on her shirt and she sighed and followed up up to the cabinet. Krissie had a pretty good idea what was going on, and she pulled out some already cooked bacon from the fridge as well as a few other things. Bundling them up in a cloth, she handed them back to Caiden. And with that, she walked to the front door and openned it up, and Caiden was out to head back towards the clearing and Vellir.

Once the door was closed, she walked back into the kitchen, "I have a pretty good idea and I say we we follow him back to find out just what exactly Vellir and him were up to." She grinned at Katie and crossed hers arms, she guessed it was possible they'd have some little ones running around now.

Krissie looked up at Katie and nodded, "Looks like you came prepared." She took one of the Dust Pans just as she joined Katie out on the porch. Once she had the pan, she jumped off the porch and started in the direction Caiden had went.

Caiden was trotting along now, eager to get back to Vellir with the food he got for her. He figured as well that Katie and Krissie would follow them back, it was a bit of a distance though, so he was hurrying to get back so Vellir would have a little time to eat before the two girls showed up.

Caiden set the bundle down on the ground and pulled it open, revealing the bacon, biscuits, and other small edibles for Vellir, "Katie and Krissie will be arriving behind me here in a bit. I came ahead to give you some time to eat." He moved around Vellir and went to check on the Dusts, he supposed they'd be a lot more safe inside the house.

Krissie walked into the clearning first and over to Caiden, being sure to avoid stepping on the Dust Piles and patted him on the head. "You do good work, Caiden." Looking around, she spotted that third little Dust and walked over and procceeded to scoop it up into the pan, making sure every last little sand particle was in the pan before she lifted it up.

Caiden was watching her like a hawk and she turned around and smiled at him, "Hey now, I wouldn't do anything to hurt the babies."

It has been a while since Vellir and Caiden had their babies. They were grown now and she had two more babies from another mating with Caiden and then one from Memory. Naiya and Memory were currently doting on Ziarre and Caiden was keeping a watchful eye on his youngest son, Darin.

The sun had fallen all the pets had made their way inside. There was a whole hord of pets lounging about the living room and adjoining rooms. Aletta, with her beautiful purple/blue wings was lounging closest to the heater. She bore her father's markings, but in odd places.

Krissie had wedged herself on the couch between Kiona and Idris, with the TV on.
