 Kotone chucked her broken pencil at Rai. "Y-You moron!! What the hell is wrong with you?!" She huffed and crossed her arms over her dark brown sweater. "Honestly, men can be such idiots..."

 Rai Uchiha "I won't go quietly..." Rai caught the piece of pencil that was thrown at him. Unknowingly to him, his Sharingan became active. He sighed with a grin on his face. "Come on now, I was only joking." He said seriously this time. "I'm sorry." He said reverting back to his shy voice. His shyness was something of a wonder. He wasn't quiet around the people he was comfortable with, but only people who were strangers. He always had a way of making friends though.

"I... I forgive you." Kotone sighed and slumped back into her seat. "Sorry about throwing my pencil at you." She brushed her bangs away from her forehead, hitai-ate glinting under the artificial lights of the classroom.

Rai Uchiha "I won't go quietly..." A small grew on his face but the Sharingan did not fade. He lacked the chakra control to enable himself to use when he wants and to stop when he wants. He sighed again and he could feel his chakra draining slowly. "You want this half of your pencil back?" He asked with a small chuckle.

"A-Ah, my pencil..." Kotone whimpered quietly. "My father just gave those to me, and I had to go and break one. I'm so stupid~." She rested the palm of her hand on her forehead. I hope Dad doesn't find out. He'll probably make me try the Lotus again... Kotone's father always used the smallest excuses to make his daughter train, even if said excuse was a broken pencil.

Rai Uchiha "I won't go quietly..." "Maybe if I didn't do that earlier, maybe you wouldn't have broke it." He said modestly. "Well I hope your father doesn't get mad... It's just a pencil" He said sarcastically. He jumped over his desk and hopped in the one next to hers and handed her the pencil. " Look on the bright side, you have plenty more." He with a smile on his face.

"Don't be silly, Rai. Black pencils are the most important pencils of them all." Kotone examined the broken stick of wood carefully, taking notice of the splinters at its end. "Black pencils are used to outline many creations. They darken colors and make shadows. Black pencils are the most important pencils of them all." Kotone added with a whimper, "And now I'll never finish my jellyfish's top hat~."

Rai Uchiha "I won't go quietly..." Rai studied the broken pencil for a moment then remembered he had one in his pocket. He reached in and pulled it out. It had a dull point but it would suffice. "Here you go, I'm pretty sure I'm not going to need it today." He said as he felt he had another one in that same pocket. "This is going to be one strange jellyfish." He said with a small laugh. He closed his eyes for a moment and expelled his Sharingan. ' It worked' He thought as a little relief grew on his face.

"Ahh... Rai-San, you're a life saver." Kotone took a kunai out of her pouch and began sharpening the pencil. "Now my jellyfish will be hot and get all the ladies~." She smirked and examined the newly-sharpened black pencil, then resumed coloring the jellyfish's hat with it.

His patients was wearing thin now. He took out the other pencil and started flipping it through his fingers. Though he did not let boredom show on his face.

Kotone leaned over and whispered, "Hey. You wanna ditch?" A mischievous smirk played on her lips as her sienna eyes glinted a playful light. "We could go get some ramen."

Rai Uchiha "I won't go quietly..." At first, Rai didn't know how to answer the question. He thought for a moment before answering. "If I get in trouble you owe me. Looks like were not doing anything but the same stuff today. Or maybe you can teach a little something." He said laying out the options. He could tell that she was just a genin but even what knowledge she had was useful. In fact all knowledge was useful. He got up from his seat and began to walk out.

Kotone got up and followed Rai, grinning from ear to ear. "Uchiha-San is going to help me use the bathroom!" she shouted to Zeus. "If we don't come back, we've been sucked into the toilet and transported to Hogwarts!"

Rai Uchiha "I won't go quietly..." Rai turned and looked at her for a moment this shrugged. "And I'm going to go eat ramen with you... What a day." He said with a small laugh walking out of the academy doors. The teacher wasn't here right now, which meant class wasn't until later. He sighed about the energy he had wasted getting to the academy in such a hurry. Literally a waste, maybe even to early. He missed his chance to learn a jutsu as well.
