Cheesus Christ....
It's not just a gay thing, or even abusing minorities.
It's this desensitization of of people like Bogie.
In a way, Bogie is a more tragic victim of society than Dallas, who while he lived was alive enough to hurt.
All of the youtube, facebook, and twitters further dehumanize the subject/users to the point where relativity, empathy and sense of being no longer exist.
I'm kind of glad that the media exploits the gay aspect of it or otherwise it probably wouldn't get any attention at all.
These things happen all the time.
People post sh!t on the net with out any thought to consequence, or perhaps no thought more than , hey, this will get a lot of hits.
People still like to pretend that the internet isn't real and it can't follow you home, but it's nearly everywhere and humanity hasn't learned the basic lesson of survival: Don't sh!t where you live.
Consequential violence internalized like the suicide or externalized like Columbine will keep happening until people figure out that people don't like being treated like sh!t

He's is just a person who has been so desensitized that he appears to be a dickhead. but he does raise a good point. The people of the pride parade need to stop flaunting their gayness like they're the superior race And congress needs to stop being a house full of homophobes and allow gay marriage. Completely agreed. Just look at congress, a bunch of old fools who are stuck in the homophobic past. They need to learn that there is nothing wrong with it, and let people be happy together instead of antagonizing them. obama is a little better then bush on this particular subjectin that obama isn't doing s**t about it and bush hated the whole idea.

kittycross In a way, Bogie is a more tragic victim of society than Dallas This is actually something I was thinking about as well, in reality the one who we should be pitying is Bogie. It's the combination of desensitization and ignorance that allows thought patterns like this to flair up... I guess where I'm going with this is that we shouldn't necessarily be angry with Bogie, he's a product of his environment, much like we should pity obese five year olds, it's not their fault, it's the fault of their parents. His closed minded, selfish, outlook on the world probably leaves him in a pretty lonely place, which probably adds to the bitterness he displays towards others... Granted it's a self perpetuating cycle, because his nature drives people away and disgusts them, giving him a sort of warped view on people because they don't want to associate with him, which supports his existing thoughts, which makes him more bitter, etc. etc

Your just making assumptions on how I am basted on one aspect of my personality i.e. my online persona. In person I’m only half as cruel and asinine, and almost nice(almost) to the ppl who take the time to know me. And when I’m drunk down right kind.
