"Welll....whatever the person wants of course...." He smiled, his tail wagging as he looked at the other male. "Come on....it sounds like fun doesn't it?" He rocked back and forth in excitement.

"Mm... Whatever they want....?" He looked at him a little surprised. He was surprised that he was putting that much on the line. After all they had just met. It kinda seemed silly to do something like that... but it did excite Ilario. "Alright... your on." He smiled as he started to think of what he could have the male do if he lost.

He smiled and nodded his head, "Anything they want....." He turned and ran off into the forest to catch rabbits. Unbeknownst to IIario, Lirance was the master of catching rabbits.
Two hours later he walked back to the meadow with three rabbits in his mouth. He had gotten extremely luck, and managed to corner a family against a boulder. He sat down and cleaned his paws as he waited.

"Alright... your on." he turned and ran off in his own direction. After two agonizing hours of trying to catch rabbits he stopped and sat down to catch his breath. He was suppose to meet Lirance back at the meeting spot... but now... he wasn't so sure he wanted to go back. He sighed. He had not caught one singe rabbit. The one he had managed to corner ended up being taken by a ferce looking deava.

Lirance looked up. It had ben over two and a half hours and he was starting to get worried about IIario. What if something had happened and he had gotten hurt. Standing up he decided that he'd go look for the little guy.

After a wile of sitting in the same place he had stopped he figured that he should probably go and see Lirance... Even if he had to return empty handed. Hopefully maybe if he was lucky Lirance didn't catch anything ether... or if he did maybe he only caught one. That way he wouldn't feel co bad coming back with nothing. Gathering up his courage he started back toward where Lirance would be.

He was just starting to search for the attractive male when he spotted him. sighing in relief he smiled, "I Was starting to get worried about you IIario.....what took you so...." He paused when he noticed that the male looked so distraught. "What's wrong?" He frowned worriedly.

He looked up as he watched the fox come his way. He must have still had that look on his face. He wouldn't blame him for asking... after all what had happened wasn't fun.
"I... Um... Mm..." He looked down. "A... A Deava... stole my rabbit..."
It was true. He was just about to catch this rabbit when a Deava swooped out of no where and dive bombed it in a brutal way. He thought for sure he was going to be next. The Deava did give him the look like he was. The only thing he could think of to do was run.

"A....a daeva?" He looked at the male slightly horrified, "You are lucky to be alive....why didn't it kill you instead....more meat....not that I'm glad it didn't but still..." He shivered, "You poor thing...you must have been terrified...." he walked over and nuzzled him, "Are you alright little one?"

He nodded to confirm the other foxes thoughts about the Daeva. He had been scared... he had never seen one so... so... up close before... He looked up at him horrified about his comment that the Daeva didn't go after him.
"No i'm not ok!" He pulled away from him. "I could have been eaton! eaton! do you know what thats like?"

"Ahhh....actually...I do..." He smiled, "I have run into a many of Daeva's in this forest....They tend to be crawling with them this time a year..." He chuckled as he watched the other male. "You know you tend to freak out very easily....It's cute..." He licked his cheek, "Come on....I have plenty of food for the both of us anyway....are you hungry?"

Ilario looked at him with comical horror. Did he just say that? The forest was crawling with them? He slowly looked over to where the forest was. Now he really didn't want to go any where near it... in fact he scooted closer to Lirance.
"Well great..." He then blushed as he looked away. He didn't think he was cute at all when he freaked out. He was a chicken... or so everyone else called him. "Yes..." he nodded to his hungry question and stood.

"Don't be afraid...I won't let anything harm you IIario..." Lirance smiled at him, "You are safe as long as you stay by my side." he turned and gestured to the five rabbits, "As you can see...I have found plenty of rabbits for the two of us...So don't be so hard on yourself...Everyone has their off days." he shrugged his shoulders as he walked over and then tossed a rabbit at IIario, "eat up little one." He grinned.

He looked up at him and was a little surprised at how protective this fox was being. It had been the first time anyone besides his mother ever cared about him. He nodded then looked over at all the rabbits he had caught. How the heck did he manage that?! There was no way... unless... he lowered his head. That just meant Ilario was a horrible hunter...
"Thanks..." He looked down at the rabbit and was about to start eating until Lirance called him small. He comically glared up at him. "I am not little..."

"You are little.....to me...." He grinned at the smaller fox, winking at him. "I mean it as a compliment not an insult little one.....It's....an endearment." Lirance smiled at IIario sweetly, then grabbed one of the rabbits and started to munch down on it hungrily. "Mmmm...it has been a long time since I have eaten rabbit....I forgot how good it tasted."
