Fog seemed aware of the approach of the beast, and brought his hand up, then down, to signal to the dragon, simply by shifting his aura, to land outside the temple, and wait.

Yami found a place outside the temple and landed, surprising a mountain goat. Yami was still very hungry so he took advantage of the animal's surprise and bit it. He then lay down and swallowed the goat quickly, almost like how snakes devour food.

"just what i said. how much do you value simply knowing? is knowledge important enough to you to forget our previous... interaction?" Fog said, before bowing shortly. "And i apologize for that, though i doubt that will get you to forgive me, for being hasty, and attacking you?" Fog said, lacing his every word with a little of the books aura.

"Well, you could get yourself into real trouble reacting like that to every visitor," Chelsea replied, a little childishly.

Fog stood upright again, and looked her over. "yes, well, your arrival surprised me. i sent my man out to get the airship above us, and he comes back with another? you should be able to understand my surprise. and with the... sensitive nature of the work we are doing here, i cant afford to let just anyone come in." Fog said, still lacing his words with the alluring aura of the book.

Fog gestured to the large seal, which was a solid part of the wall behind him. "Its quite simple really. however, by telling you, you are to become part of this, and do as i command, until we achieve our goal." Fog said, turning back to her. "Are you willing to do that."

Fog frowned as the aura of the book seemed to fail with her. "hmm... this work, that we are doing, is an important task to the future of the civilized races of Verspya. we seek to summon a God, and through him, access the ancient knowledge of the Akashik (spelling?) Record, and through it, better all beings."

Chelsea blinked a bit in surprise. That seemed like quite a big venture. "How are you going to do that?" she asked, seeming to become a little excited.

Fog smiled. "Why, its simple, you see," Fog said, knowing for sure now he had her hooked. "This ancient tome, i hold, is the book of the ancients, and it is infused with their power, and knowledge. with it, I intend to enact their greatest ritual, and call an ancient God to this place, and ask its assistance in my venture."
