After hitting the move, GBL laid on the ground to regain himself. Finally, he would kip up to his feet and spin himself around motioning for Landry to get up.
(( So.. Saturday = UFC night.. that.. sucked.. >/ ))

Landry held the back of his neck, trying to get back to his feet albeit unsteadily.

Seeing Landry trying to get back up, GBL would make his strike. With a run, GBL aimed his shining wizard he likes to call 'Petals Dance' to the head of Landry. More impact to the skull to continue a disorienting offense.

Landry was laid out flat by the Shining Wizard, left stairing up at the bright lights.

With the impact, GBL found himself laying on his stomach and being beside his opponent. He stood himself back up and let out a yell. He knelt down and awaited for his opponent to stand himself back up.

(( neutral Sorry I haven't joined in too much, midterms, fall, drugs, October. It gets to me sometimes.))
Outside the cage, Mardy pulls her hair out of her face so GBL could really hear her. "Loser! Asswipe! Asswipe! Asswipe! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA!" Mardy made a point of annunciating every single letter for the sole purpose of distracting Landry's dirtbag opponent. Too add to the effect, Mardy rattled the cage.

Hearing the jeers from a tainted soul, GBL's eyes turned to the noise maker. A sly grin was on his face as he lifted his hands up and pulled at his own dark blue hair. If anything, he was getting more fueled up and, if anything, was given an idea.

Landry took his opportunity provided by the distraction to try and crawl up behind GBL and nail him with a low blow, and if he was lucky enough to succeed he would try to scoop him up with a schoolboy afterwards.

That was unfortunate. Hit with the second low blow of the night and rolled up, GBL struggled before a realization hit. He stopped his struggling to just relax and try to regain feeling rather than pain. K.O. or escape. That was the thought in mind.

The recent blow to the head dissoriented Landry more than he thought, and when the referee waved off the pin he became irate, wondering why he wasn't declaring him the winner right now.

GBL just remained on his back for the time as he placed a hand on his forehead. He had the momentum and lost it due to that broken woman. Still, he had to push on through. Push, push, push.

Landry, with his senses back with him, turned menacingly back to his foe. He tried grabbing his left leg and turning him over to apply a half crab. If only just for starters.

With not enough time to recover from the second low-blow, GBL was turned with the move now trying to inch his way to the ropes for leverage purposes.

It looked as if Landry was getting more and more comfortable in the cage, as he immediatly tried to transfer into an Arm-trap STF to restrict GBL's movements and leave him with only one arm with which to reach for the ropes.

(( Ohohoho ~ I applaud this.. It's like an 'In-your-face' since one of GBL's common submissions is a cravate STF. ))
He should had guessed as much as GBL was now left with one arm to struggle as he tried to get to the ropes. Even if he got there, the ref couldn't do anything about it. No tapping or anything, either. He had to hang in there and escape. For the time, he would just try to pry at Landry's hands to try and loosen or make an opening.
