x__ Lilypads Participants: Airaka , Yahima and Patrick
Airaka sat on the edge of the fountain, watching the baby ghost fluttering her and there. He seemed not at all tiresome. The wyvern wisp was currently attampting to attack a butterfly with his golden wand. Airaka leaned back slightly, closing her eyes from the light of the sun. She shot a hand out, catching the foutain edge to keep her balance. The garden was perfect for pondering.
And pondering was what Airaka was doing. She wondered whether or not the boy would be as hyperactive now when he soldifies. Will he be able to make friends with the other babies. Airaka believed the wyvern boy would be able to befriend Yashima easily, but not to sure about the other two. Then again, Airaka half feared the other children. Coailiann with her attitude, and Kishi just because she was a succubus. Airaka was pretty sure Yashima was safe.
A sudden nudge at her shoulder startled Airaka, and she had to grab the edge of the fountain with both hands. Her eyes had popped open, and she sat there breathing heavier then usual, sounds of gleeful baby gurgling in her head.
"Very funny..." she muttered.
But her scowl turned to a grin, and the wyvern floated away again to explore the lilypads.
Yashi was safe until he remembered who and what he had been. But now, as a toddling baby using his wand as a crutch, he was as innocent as the purely driven snow and just as pale.
He was meandering side-by-side with his father, startling white against the deep brown of the larger Patrick. The human was talking absently to his son, voice mild and sing-song, chatting about one of their clan. Yashima, on the other hand, was toddling in the akward movements of a toddler, his plush geisha doll in one arm and his wand in the other.
When the wyvern came into view with his girl-thing, the foxkit let out a squeal, the hand clutching the wand pointing at them sharply, almost accusing. "Shounen~"
Airaka blinked, and got to her feet at the shout. She had look worried at first, but then at spotting Yashima and Patrick she grinned.
"Hello Patrick. Hello Yashima."
The wyvern waved his wand at Yashima, then turned about, distracted by a butterfly that had landed on the grass. When he floated toward it, the butterfly took off again, and Airaka heard a slight hissing in her mind. She blinked dumbly, with a flustered look in her eyes. But she said, "Yashima's grown since I last saw him."
"Mmhmm. He's officially a 'toddler' now. Your kiddlet's grown too, I see." Patrick smiled faintly, leaning down to scoop the still-pointing Yashima up and cuddle him to his chest.
The toddler was having none of that. His wand was gnawed on and the doll clutched close and he wriggled himself fiercely agaisnt Patrick. His father winced slightly and put the boy down with a siiiigh. "How've you b een, Airaka? Dealing OK with the baby ghost ness? It's weird, isn't it?"
"Watage!" Yashima squeaked towards the other wand, taking large baby steps towards him, small, floofy tail waving in the air. "Wa-ta-geee!"
Airaka nodded her head, her eyes trailing over the fuming wyvern wisp. "Congratz. I've been great. Ish. You know? " As her blue eyes moved back to Patrick, she said weakly, "Yeah... It is. I can kind of hear him in my head. Or atleast, I thi it's him. I may just be going insane." She chuckled, then blinked over at Yashima, "Do you understand what he is saying?" The wyvern ghost floated closer to Yashima, and waved his wand around a bit more, before circling about the boy. Airaka got a shot of gleeful gurgles from the boy.
"Yeah, I know." He knew. One hand patted his own stomach with a sigh, head shaking and glancing back with a grin.
"Oh, no. That's definately him, darlin'. Definately, definately him. I heard it with yashi too, except he didn't say or do all that much. He was quieter."
Yashima, at Airakas question, paused andwrinkled his nose, pointing again at the wyvern. "Fukafuka?" Ears flicked slightly, fingertips moving to tickle against that cloud of fluff. "Fukafuka watage!"
"...nope. I don't have a goddamn clue. Neveah did, though. She talked to him."
Airaka had been attempting to figure out what was with that stomach. Either Patrick had gotten fat really fast, or he was pregnant. She doubted both ideas. "Oh... My boy seems to enjoy making noises. He also moves quite a lot. Good to know I'm not going insane though. " She blinked at Yashima, and her own child, whom had stopped circling around Yashima, and was now floating a ways away from him, groggily so, as if her were dizzy. "I wonder if he'll speak anything other then English." she said, referring to the wyvern ghost.
Yashima dropped both his doll and his wand to reach up at the babyghost, cradling it between his palms and trying to tug it closer.. He wasn't a very strong boy, though, and he couldn't will a baby ghost to do something it didn't want to.
Instead, he squished his eyes shut and projected, loudly, loudly, for all to hear that had the capacity to see into the thoughts of one little godly messanger, Boythingyeah?
Patrick would kill whoever called him fat. Period. He almost dive tackled the doctor and murdered him for mentioning it. Instead, he smiled and moved to sit on the edge of the fountian, stretching out. "You're not insane," He assured her, shoulders shrugging. "He might. Yashi knew a little english until he heard Iamels damned Sailor moon theme song. Kay speaks english."
The baby ghost fidgeted. He didn't want to be held, but would the boy with the tail ignore him if he didn't submit. Attention is gold. And there was many ways to get gold. He wanted gold from this boy, now. So the wyvern wisp submitted. He shivered a bit as he heard the voice in his head. Yeah, yeah.
"Sailor Moon? Well, hopefully I'll be able to understand him a bit. He might speak... " she paused, pondering on it for a second, "Draconic... I think. Because he is dragon like." Airaka gave a shrug of her shoulders. "I'll wait and see, I guess."
Yashi blinked and petted at the little baby ghost, fingers dropping when he realized the fidgeting was one of impatiance, not of being happy or wanting to get closer - Iamel did that sometimes. Wriggled and twisted until he was close enough to cling to someone.
Yeahyeahboything? The little fox wasn't too good with seperating his thoughts, like Coailiann was... He was only good at projecting and he could recieve things easily. But seperating them into coherancy? Not much of it.
"Sailor moon," Patrick confirmed, nose wrinkling. "A girl cartoon. He put it on and the second Yashima heard it, he's refused to speak anything but that. I'm getting frustrated... What does Draconic sound like, anyway?"
The ghost gave a soft whimper into Airaka's head, causing the woman to look over at him for a second, before turning back to Patrick. His thoughts were quick, and detatched, yet soft. This whole speaking in the mind thing was weird to him. Yes. Boything. Me. Yes, speaking out through ones mind was difficult, and confusing.
"Mmm... Sailor Moon seems to be very popular. " She grinned, then paused a bit at his second question. "Draconic sounds like..." Airaka hesitates again, "... Well... hissing. Sort of. It's a pretty old language." She shrugged her shoulders, for she did not know much of the language, only having heard it once when Kris had had a verbal fight with someone.
Okay. The little thing didn't like the mind talk and without someone telepathic that could help, neither did Yashima. So he just reached back up, petting softly at the little fluff with a squeak.
"Watage," His words were wisely said, although it meant something along the lines of 'fluff'. To a child his size, everything was wise.
"Does it? I thought it looked a little too girlie for him, but then the killing and lesbians kicked in and then it just kind of scared me." Patrick laughed, head shaking a little.
Draconic is a hissing language? Nifty. One eyebrow arched and Patrick let out a soft hiss between his teeth by pushing at the air, lips quirking into a grin once more. "It'd be hard to understand, even if it IS pretty, I imagine."
The white wisp floated up, nudging into the foxkits hand. He didn't understand what the toddler was saying, but he did kind of enjoy the pets.
Airaka shrugged her shoulders, "I mean Kishi and her sister watch it as well." She then raised a finger to her chin, looking thoughtful, before continuing, "I didn't know there was lesbians or killing. Doesn't sound that good for children to be watching."
She let out a bit of a giggle when Patrick hissed, "They do use words. But when they talk real fast, it sounds like snakes at war. I don't know much though. I would have to get a friend of mine to teach me the language if the little boy does talk Draconic."
Yashi giggled loudly at the nudges, fingertips tickling at the cloud with a grin. He liked this little white wisp! It was new and different and liked his fingers.
Patrick just grinned, shoulders rising in a shrug. "In the English version they say the lesbians are cousins...but whatever." One dismissive wave of his hand, and he grinned once more, nose crinkling up. "They'll learn english eventually. Kay knows English. Yashi will just have to learn."
He held out his wand as he nudged once more into Yashima's hand. The wyvern waved his wand infront of the kitsune's eyes.
Airaka paused for a second, before nodding her head. "Oh. I see. Counsins intresting." She grinned, and shrugged her shoulders as well. "Yeah. It'll be intresting when he starts speaking." The red head turned to Yashima and her own child. "I'm honestly getting kind of giddy. Supposedly he becomes a living, breathing child next time. I wonder how he'll act. What he'll like. Everything like that. " She gave Patrick a weak grin, then looked back at the two.
Yashima squealed at the waving and a giggle left his lips, little hands clapping together in childish delight. It was a wand! It was waving at him! Yay! So cute!
"Fukafuka kawaii~" The little boy giggled, fingers moving to tickle-pet along the smoke still, cheeks getting pink from his excitement.
Patrick just grinned, shoulders rising into a shrug. "It IS exciting... yashi was something of a surprise. He just popped into his crib one day while we were setting up his bedroom. He just stared at us like he knew we were there... I'm sure your brat is going to be just as cute as he is."
The dark man smirked, shrugging once more. "I haven't regreted the fox yet."
The ghost baby retracted his wand, his 'tail' flicking with the movement, and he let loose a gleeful thought.
He thought caught Airaka by surprise, which it did every so often, and she raised her sunkissed fingers to her temples. "He's kinda loud... but I think he likes Yashima." She lowered her hands, and grinned at Patrick, before reverting to their other conversation. "Oh, he was a bit of a surprise this time. I was changing a bird feeder when he baby ghisted. I fell right out of the tree, and sprained my arm. It's pretty much healed." She held up her left arm with a grin. "I wonder what will happen this time," she said, this time accompanied by a chuckle.
Yashima giggled and wriggled at him with his fingers, tail lashing back and forth. He LIKED this little ghost child! he was fun and amusing and and and..yes!
"I think yashi likes him too, so it works." Patrick grins, ducking down to ruffle at his sons hair. "You sprained your arm? Gods be damned, that sucks! At least it's getting better JUST in time for you to get a kid though, you know?"
Another laugh before he scooped Yashima up, bouncing him gently on his knee. "Sorry but it's almost time for fox-kit's nap... he gets grumpy otherwise. But we should totally catch up again. I think he might pout without the dragon thing."
As Patrick collected his child in his arms, Airaka waved the ghost over. Of course, the ghost had gone right back to chasing butterflys, not acknowledging Airaka at all. She stood there, face turning red, then looked back over at Patrick. "Yes. Just in time." The thoughts sent a shot of happiness through out her, and she grinned. "Of course. I'm sure we would love to see Yashima and you again. "

x__ Quest
Arms filled with assorted good, Airaka marched into the room, and stood there, grinning about the scantly clad room. It was so bare. So dull. Whilst Airaka wouldn't have much minded a slightly unimportant room, she doubted the child would. She glanced over her solder, and blinked a waited a couple seconds before her helpers came into view. "Darius, Sari, thanks." she said again. The children nodded, and they both moved further into the room. Each were holding the shiny objects, while Airaka carried the blankets and other soft such. Airaka believed the two would put more care into their work with greater responsibility. She was right. Darius hadn't acted up, and Sari was taking much more care in her step rather then her usual quick to move, and quick to think. "Alright," she said, looking back at the most of the room. "You can set that stuff down, and we'll decide where to put everything." They both responded diligently, setting down the shiny baubles. Airaka stepped over to the bed, setting down the the blanket, and the pillow in the bed. She grinned, then set the fluffy rabbit like creature and the hippo at the opposite side of the pillow. Then Sari let out a little squeak, and Airaka swiftly hopped toward her, only to find out the reason she had screamed was the floating baby ghost near her head. Airaka flushed, and the baby ghost lowered himself down to the shinies. He let out a gleeful gurgle, and Airaka grinned. "Well, he likes it." Darius looked at Airaka, "Why does he get all this anyway? He's a baby. What use is all this stuff to a baby?" Airaka turned about, and shrugged her shoulders, picking up the dream catcher, and hooking it above the window. "He's a dragon like creature. Dragons really enjoy shiny stuff. Gold coins, crowns, necklaces, bracelets. Anything. And a room is the place for one to feel at home. One should enjoy their room." She gave a sigh, and turned back to the rest of the stuff. Having a child was expensive stuff! All the coinage she had saved for a treat to herself was spent on the child. She wished she had enough money, just enough that she didn't have to live pay check to pay check. Airaka raised a hand as the baby ghost brushed against her shoulder, and he pet him as best she could. But the boy was definitely worth it. She turned her frown upside down, and turned to the two children. "Alright, so are we ready to sort this stuff?" The two kids nodded, and took up an item each. Airaka addressed Darius first, who was holding the gazing ball. She winced a bit at the item, but grinned at him all the same, "Where do you wanna put that?" Darius looked around the room. "How about that center table?" Airaka grinned and nodded her head, "If you want!" Although the boy seemed a bit surprised by the freedom, he strutted over to the table, and set down the gazing ball, right in the center. Oh it would be the first thing Airaka saw when she came in the room. She knew the thing had magic of some sort. But the gazing ball had been a gift from a friend, who had insisted she put it near the dragon boy, say they were also attracted to magical items. Oh woe. She then turned to Sari, who sifted under the gaze, In her hands was clutched a bottle which seemed to have white sand in it, or liquid. Which ever. It too, seemed to have a magical aurora. "And -?" Before Airaka could finish her sentence, Sari set the bottle near the lamp, where light bounded off of it, giving the whole room a slight magical glow. She then turned to Airaka, and nodded her head. The white ghost had been floating about the room, and now made it's way back to Airaka. It pointed, with it's wand, at the shiny objects pilled near the door, two bracelets and the necklace from Krisalynn. "I ... don't have a ... jewelry box for him yet. So, lets just set it on the dresser." The children nodded, and each of them picked up a piece of jewelry and placed them in a group on the dresser. "We're done!" Airaka exclaimed, with a clap of her hands. The two kids grinned at her, and the white ghost baby floated near the jewels. "Now, as a reward, who wants cookies and ice cream." Both children cheered, and Darius turned to Sari, a look of challenge in his eyes, "Bet you I could be the first to the kitchen!" "No way!" Sari shot back, and the two took off. Airaka chuckled, and turned to the baby ghost. "Come on dearest, lets go make sure the two aren't hurt." The ghost hesitated, but soon followed after her, and the two moved to the kitchen

Welcome Airaka
"A baby is an inestimable blessing and bother" -- Mark Twain Mood: Tired
Hello world! The almost baby is a real baby now, and quite a handful. Never have I taken care of such a delicate thing before! Nor do I really remember truly seeing one. If I remember correctly, I wasn't exactley allowed from going anywhere near my younger half-brother.
But my baby. He is so adorable, so delicate, and so ... so just whoa! Having a child really is something truly different. Such a cute little boy, with brown locks, and yellow eyes. And white wings.
I never thought wyvern had white wings. I thought they were brown, or atleast gold. Maybe my my baby is the reincarnation of an albino wyvern. I don't know.
I just had to walk away from the computer. He may be adorable, and delicate, but he is pretty loud, and much to curious. I'm afraid he is going to open his crib and fall out.
He really loves that wand of his, but seems to hate hands. My wyvern baby cries whenever I thouch with my hands, so I'm forced to wear gloves. He also stick his own hands in his mouth, guming at them. Although he hates his hands, he doesn't seem to notice that he actually uses them often. He is pretty skilled with using his tail and toes to grab stuff.
As for food, he seems to dislike the fruit based baby foods, but not so much the formula. He actually really enjoys the formula. I think the only reason he eats the baby food is because he gets to have the shiny spoon in his mouth.
It's so cute how he swoons over his shinies. Just makes me feel so silly, and childish.
Well... He's crying again. I think I spent to much time away from him. He hordes attention as much as he hordes shinies.
Good day ~ Airaka

x__ The 'Safe' Haven Participants: Airaka, Danny, and Malen
Airaka leaned against in one of the desk in the shop, eyes closed tiredly. She would wait her for Danny to show, before moving into the headquarters. Her little wyvern child sat on the desk, two of Airaka's fingers in his mouth, wand fitted between his toes. He wore jean suspenders, and a white t-shirt, holes in each for his tail and his wings. The fabric, he felt, was incredibly itchy on his scales, though the lotion had made it feel better. His dark eyes showed frustration, most likely at the fact he hadn't been able to gnaw off Airaka's hand yet.
Okay... okay, Danny-girl, you can do this. You have to do this. For the baby, right?
The storefront was in sight, but now Danny was getting cold feet. Her last visit to the Wand Shop hadn't been especially... pleasant. The door locking behind her, the no-escape policy, the weird magic stuff and... just... everything had been weird and unbelievable.
But it wasn't any more unbelievable than the green ghostling that floated along out of the wand tip poking out of her backpack, was it?
She was allowed to be nervous, sure. But when it came down to it, whether she wanted to acknowledge it or not, Green was going to be a real baby one day... and Danny was going to need every resource available to her in order to keep from being overwhelmed by the challenges that would bring. So, she just had to take a breath, be brave, and....
"Uh... hey." Stepping nervously through the front door, Danny gave a small wave to Airaka.
Airaka opened her blue eyes, and returned the wave, using the hand that had been in the babies mouth. "Hi!"
She gave Danny a warm grin, then directed her eyes to the green thing thatt had first caught her attention as Danny caused the bell to jingle. "Oh! It wisped! That's great."
The baby had been staring at the hand as Airaka waved it, and his eyes narrowed at Airaka. He wiggled his wings oddly, one of the brushing against the hand that was holding him up upright, before letting out a wail.
Airaka stood there, shocked for a second, then stuffed her sunkissed fingers back in the boys mouth. He stopped, and started gumming the fingers again. "Eh... So ... you ready to go in?"
Staring at Airaka's interactions with the little boy, it took a few moments for Danny to put together the obvious. The little wisp-thing that she had seen when she had met Airaka that first time, it was now....
"... Oh. This is...?" Shyness left behind at the doormat, Danny quickly approached to get a good look at the baby, face beaming along with an obligatory "he's so cuuuuute~!" compliment as she inspected the child. The scales and wings were certainly not overlooked by the mundane girl, but she didn't seem to dwell on them too long. Maybe she was starting to feel more at home around this weird unhuman stuff.
Airaka's next words drew her hastily out of baby-ogling mode, however, and more into a distant sort of dread. "Go in?... yeah... I guess so...." Danny might not have sounded entirely convincing, but she wasn't going to back away from this. It was important for her to get a hand on this sort of stuff, and she was infinitely grateful that she at least had someone with a cool head around to keep her from... well, keep her from acting like she did the last time she was here, at the very least.
Airaka blinked at Danny, slightly surprised by the comment. It caused the boy to grin up at Danny, though, waving his tail about. He pushed his foot with the wand against the woman, as Airaka pulled her finger from the boys mouth. "Yeah. He sure is."
She pulled the baby into the correct position, one hand resting on his bottom, the other on his back. The wyrmling placed his own hand in his mouth, as Airaka moved toward the portal door. "Alright. Lets do this." She gave Danny one last reasurring grin, and adjusted the boy on her hip so she could open the door, then step into the portal.
Seconds later she was out in the lobby, with a shiver. She took a couple steps forward, looking back at the portal for Danny.
Eyeing the portal with distaste, Danny took a quick breath to fill up her lungs, closing her eyes a moment to relish the calming effects of the oxygen filting through her mind. Just do it, don't think about it, just do it--
Opening her eyes to the lobby a moment later, she gave Airaka a weak sort of smile. No problem. She could handle anything, no matter how crazy or disorienting it was....
"That wasn't so bad." It had taken a couple seconds to get her vocal chords working properly, but she took a couple brave steps further into the room, doing her best to seem unintimidated.
A very exhuasted and shirtless Malen was passed out on the couch and even the sound of the portal opening couldn't rouse him.Kishi who'd been playing in a baby walker when Malen was awake was taking advantage of the lack of supervision. Her attention was gotten as others entered the headquaters " Ahhheeh" she called out and struggled to propel herself towards the guardians and thier charges. There way another baby like her and it had wings too, this pleased Kishi to no end.
Airaka gave a slight chuckle, "I so hate that portal." She raised her eyes from the boy, who was hitting her leg with the wand, to look about the area incase anyone was here, when Kishi's call caught her attention.
"Oh!" she said, rather loudly, bringing her attention to Kishi. "Hi Kishi!" The red head had moved toward the baby girl, and was now kneeling down beside her. She gave the girl a playful grin, before reminding herself of Danny.
"This is Kishi. Her gaurdian is Malen, who is going out with Ianna." Airaka nodded her head intellegently, before directing her attention back to Kishi. "Kishi, sweetie, that girl over there is Danny. She's a friend of mine. She has a little wisp. Isn't that neat?"
She had adjusted her baby so he was sitting on her knees. He started at Kishi intently, watching her. His hand was still in his mouth, but her wasn't chewing on it as hard as before.
... How many of these wand-babies are there, anyway? Not that Danny was particularly opposed to their existence or anything, just that it was a little... shocking, there was the word. A little shocking for her to keep coming across these strange children.
They were still just children, though, and whether or not Danny was necessarily prepared for their differences, she wasn't going to let that put her off.
"Hi there!" Smiling almost a little too much, Danny stooped down and hugged her knees to give Kishi a proper greeting. "It's nice to meet you, Kishi!" Over her shoulder, the green wisp could be seen taking a peek at the winged girl, before returning to its usual slow circling around the tip of its wand.
Kishi looked about trying to focus on everyone at once particularly the wisp and winged baby as they held her interest the most. She smiled at everypne and giggled with pleasure pleased to be the center of attention for once. Making a choice Kishi reached out for the winged boy " Ammahhee." she insisted ,demanding that he be brought closer for further inspection.
The combination of people moving and voices finally roused Malen who sat up and stared at the women who were with his daughter. Internally he berated himself for falling asleep, Kishi could have been seriously hurt left unattended for long. Rubbing the sleep from his eyes he smiled " Hello Airaka good to see you again and congrats on your boy growing he looks adorable." He winked at the woman and baby before turning his attention to the other whom he didn't know ." and this lovely lady is?"
The boy flicked his tail out from his side, using it to grab his wand. He then wiggled his toes at the girl, emiting a gurgle. Ha. She had chosen to pay attention to him out of everyone else. He wiggled a bit gleefully.
Airaka paused, suddeny remembering what theh girl had been in her past life. Did the girl have powers already? Although she doubted it, she was a bit resistant in moving foreward. She did though.
Her attention was directed from worrying over what Kishi could do to her baby, to Malen. "Hello Malen. Thanks. And, that's Danny." Airaka's soft voice was tinged with stiffness, and her grin was weaker then that which she had used earlier with Danny.
Danny seemed to fall under the category of "easily flattered". Cheeks tinging slightly, she averted her gaze and stifled a giggle before speaking up again, "Malen, right? It's nice to meet you." She didn't really mean for it to sound flirtish, but that brand of playful was exactly how it came out; remembering that Airaka had told her that MAlen was supposed to have been going out with Ianna, however, she quickly turned her attention to a more neutral topic.
"Kishi's a real cutie... she's yours, right?" She knew the answer already, of course, but what safer topic could there be than an innocent little child? "I wonder if Green'll grow up anything like her."
Kishi extended her wings and smiled at what she considered her new friend. He was another responsive child and that excited her. With Kay usually stealing all the attention and some of the others rather shy Kishi had struggled to find those who would return her enthusiasm for friend making.
Malen ignored Airaka's tone , they'd hit it off on the wrong foot long ago and apparently the woman held grudges, still their children got along well enough and malen doubted that Airaka would let her feelings about him interfere with her childs need to socialise. " it's a pleasure to meet you as well Danny and Kishi is as mine as she can be without being blood related." Suddenly an odd look passed over Malen's face " I wonder what would happen if someone was related to their wand child, wouldn't that be odd." Personally Malen figured he'd probably be honored to raise an ancestor and find it interesting to discuss what his family had been like long before he'd been born. " As for what what your child will be like it really depends on what they were."
He unfurled his own own wings, in response, and they brushed against his guardian's chest. The baby seemed a bit angered by the fact his wings had thouched the red red head, hitting his tail and the wand against the woman. She faltered but was able to keep her balance. Airaka pat the boy on the head, and he tiled his head, catching some of the fingers in his mouth. He returned his attention to Kishi, waving his tail, and golden wand, at her.
With two fingers still in her boys mouth, Airaka looked to the other two. "I have a feeling my boy never actually met someone to mate with. I'm not to sure on how wyverns mate." Airaka paused, thinking over the thought, before letting out a chuckle, "It would be intresting to meet anyone related to the children. See what they think of on the matter..." She shook her head after her voice trailed off, "Then again, maybe not. The decendents may not be the nicest people ever." The woman looked rather flustered with the conversation, but turned her focus to Danny, and shruged her shoulders. "I'm sure Green will be darling, if that is what you are implying. Personality wise, we'll just have to wait till the childs a breathing baby."
"Yeah...." Patience was not Danny's best trait, but for this, it seemed... well, right, somehow, to have to wait for it. If she had been stupid and got knocked up, she'd be waiting nine months before getting a look at her baby, after all. There must be some good reason that those nine months were programmed into people (other than the obvious biological stuff)- really, Danny should be grateful she only had a short while to wait compared with that.
Slinging her backpack off and setting it on the ground a comfortable distance from the children, Danny watched Green looping around its wand, oblivious to the other wand-children or anything else going on around it. Hopefully, this odd behavior wasn't a hint of what was to come.
"... Oh! I meant to ask," she turned to Malen, "do you know how to figure out what they were in their past life or whatever? Ianna told me, I'm sure, but I wasn't really listening, so I'm in the dark about it."
Kishi cooed softly in the boys direction, he was nice and pretty and shiny. It was particularly interesting that he had a tail, she hadn't seen anyone with a tail before so he must be special. Pointing at his tail she issued an unintelligable question.
Having no clue about the mating habits of Dragons never mind Wyverns Malen just shrugged. At Danny's Question he laughed " Sorry I wouldn't know, but I can always ask Ianna when I see her later and if you leave me some sort of contact information I can relay it to you." Malen wasn't surprised to hear Danny's story, the kind of information Ianna gave out was sort of easily swallowed up by shock.
The boy raised his albino tail infront of his eyes, flickling it in a mezmerizing pattern, back and forth. The golden wand coiled in his tail reflected off the light in the room, giving it a shiny glow and making the baby let loose a gleeful giggle.
"Ianna told me off the bat that he was had a wyverns soul. What I really want to know is how he died." Her sapphire eyes were filled with worry as she lowered them back down to the boy whom was poised on her knees. A soft sigh came from her lips before she looked up again. "The wands are a hint, though."
At Malen's offer, Danny practically lit up with excitement. "Really? Could you?" That was perfect! Exactly what she needed to pick up on the information she hadn't quite paid attention to the first time around. Eagerly grabbing her backpack, she rifled through it until she found a pen and a scrap of paper (looked like some old homework assignment)- tearing off the corner of the paper, she wasted no time in scribbling down her details.
Airaka's next words set her to a pause, however. "A hint to what they are, or how they died?" She'd figured out the first bit; or at least, she'd assumed the first bit. but the second bit was confusing, and a bit startling to think about. What could Green's wand be hinting to, if that were the case?
... Maybe I'm just overthinking everything. though. God, but if that couldn't be it; she was starting to feel all twitchy and jumpy from all this. Everything had just suddenly hit her, and now she wanted to know anything and everything she could about her wisp; what it was, what it would be, how it would act, what it could like, what shoe size it would have....
Forcing herself to turn the jitters down a few pegs, Danny carefully wrote down her digits and name, along with a reminder in case Malen was the forgetful sort- "Please call me if you can find out what Green's past life is, thank you!". Passing the paper scrap over to him, she flashed a grin. "Thanks a ton for your help."
Kishi's eyes widened at the sight of the glowing. Again she reached out wanting to be closer to both the wand and it's holder.
" Or is it how or why or both?" Malen murmured in response to Airaka's thought on wanting to know how her child died.Taking the slips of paper from danny he smiled " I'll ask Ianna tonight"
The wyrmling bumped his tail against the baby blocker, one of the things that was blocking im and the black winged girl from getting any closer, then closed his mouth with his guardians fingers still inside, making a bit of a gurgling noise.
Airaka blushed slightly, feeling dense due to the fact she had confused everyone with her mutterings. "I mean, I think, the wands show what they were. Not how they died. Like his is golden, with two dragon's on it. Though his wand may be more obvious to what he was then others. Yours looks like a stick." The red-head coughed slightly, and took a second longer to reply to Malen's question. "Both."
"Yep, it sure does," Danny said at Airaka's description of her wand, peering back down at her ghostling. Green was still circling- a sign that nothing was amiss, she supposed.
"How would you find out about how they died, anyway? I mean... well, maybe it's better not to even ask, isn't it?" There was such a thing as knowing too much information about a child. Danny might not be a mother (yet), but speaking from the experience of one barely out of their teens- when your parents knew too much, they got worried and anxious and overprotective. That was just dealing with typical things, like grades and dating and all that. God only knew how overprotective a parent would get, knowing how their child had once died....
... Then again... better to keep them safe, right?
"... Do you think Ianna might know something about that sort of thing?" This was directed more at Malen than anything; he seemed to be the resident expert on things-Ianna-might-know. Kishi sqwaked at the jolt and then frowned , there was no way she could get to the boy if she was stuck in the contraption. Smacking her fingers on the frame she sought her fathers attention.
Malen rolled his eyes and picked Kishi up resting her on his hip. he nodded to airaka and looked curious " Do you think it's a baby thing that make him gnaw on you or a dragon then like I dunno a strange sign of affection." Malen had not been chewed on yet byKihsi or drooled on. he had however been puked upon multiple times and considerd it a for more unpleasent experience.
To Danny he just sighed softly " We have no clue have they died as of yet and it's probably better not to dwell on it, I mean of course it may affect them now like a fear of water if they drowned but otherwise they don't know how they died when they're reborn so it's best not to burden them."
Airaka blinked down at the boy, then back to Malen, standing up herself, turning the boy so she held him underneath, and around his stomach. "I don't know. I doubt it's a sign of affection. He gums his own hands too. It's the only time he really uses his hands, when he sticks them in his mouth. Wyvern's only had legs, I think." she stated.
The boy wiggled his tail at Kishi, a grin on his face. His mothers hands had been taken from his mouth and replaced with his own.
Airaka looked from Malen to Danny, and shrugged her shoulders. "Yeah, I guess he's right."
"Doesn't that seem like a bad idea, though?" Danny asked Airaka, referring to Xtol's habit of chewing everything. "I mean, isn't that unhealthy or something?" Babies were supposed to get sick really easily, so far as she knew, which is why you always tried to keep them from doing bad things. Of course, a baby that was some sort of dragon in its past life might not be so suspectible to disease... but still, there was a certain amount of common sense that still ought to be exercised.
Note to self- get a ton of disinfectant wipes for when Green becomes a kid, Danny decided.
" babies and then children eat everything from boogers to dirt to chewing gum found on the sidewalk , they are more likely to get sick eating an undercooked burger at a fast food joint then they are by being children." having consumed the gods only knew what as a child according to his mothers Malen was a testament to that statement. he nodded at Airaka " Yeah no arms for them so he'd probably got no clue how to use them, you're probably lucky he had any motor function at all with them you could have had him needing psyical therapy for years."
Kishi flexed her wings and then reached out hoping to touch at least some part of her friend.
"father c'mere I need your help right now." a voice called desperately.
Holding Kishi Malen bowed and smiled softly " Sorry but fatherly duties call, if you aren't here when I return I hope we meet again soon." He nodded to Danny " I'll call you soon I promise." That said Malen headed towards the sound of Del's distressed voice.
The wyvern baby reached out his feet, pushing them as far forward as possible. His toes bumped againgt her fingers, before Airaka adjusted the boy who was slipping down her stomach. Airaka gained a peeved expression from the boy with that movement.
Airaka flushed a bit at Danny's comment. "I make sure we are both really clean. When we get back from this little adventure, he's going to have another nice, long bath." She squeezed the boy softly against her chest, then grinned back up at the two like a gleeful mother.
"Hopefully he'll soon learn that hands are more then just chew toys. For his sake and mine." The red-head chuckled a little bit, but her eyes widened as the calal from the otehr room caught her by surprise. "Of course. Farewell, Malen. I bet my boy would love to see Kishi again." Her point was stressed by the wyvern's sudden crying that happened as Kishi was taken from view of his golden eyes.
Airaka turned to Danny, giving her a crooked grin, and dug through the item in her bag to attempt to calm the baby down. She pulled out a stuffed animal, placing infront of the boys face. The hippo was promptly stuffed in the wyvern's mouth, and Airaka laughed cheerfully. "I'll have to go pick up so more amusment for the little guy." she muttered off handedly.
Stepping closer to Danny, the woman bowed her head. "So, did you enjoy yourself? Thinking of coming back? There are many more kind people then just Malen. And I'm sure 'Green' will enjoy it as she ages."
"Thank you, and take care!" Waving after Malen and Kishi, the college girl seemed to be honestly optimistic as she picked her wand back up from where she'd set it, giving the wisp an amused and friendly grin as she listened to Airaka.
"Well, it wasn't half as bad as I was afraid it might be," Danny replied, tucking the wand back into its usual pocket in her backpack. "And even if it were.... Well, that doesn't even matter, because it wasn't. I definitely think I'll be coming back... after all, Green's gotta know there's other people like it so it doesn't get lonely, right?" It sounded as good an excuse as any, at least.
Looping the backpack over one shoulder, she took stock of the time. "Suppose that I'd better be going; I've got class in a bit, anyway. Exit's the way we came in, I'd guess?" A stupid question by most means, but this place was just crazy enough that she had to check before she went wandering off anywhere.
Airaka nodded, with a cheerful smile on her face. "That's good! I'm sure you and Green will meet a lot of nice people here." She nodded her head again at Danny's last question, and moved towards the portal. "Thanks much for coming Danny. See you around?" The red head took a deep breath, then waved at the woman, before stepping through the portal.

x__ Omelettes Partcipants: Airaka, Xtol, and Coailiann
Airaka stepped into the head quarters from the portal, her red hair messy, her blue eyes coloured with sleeplessness. The baby in her arms had a few flecks of the crimson locks woven around his fingers. It seemed the boy had began to develop an acceptance to his fingers and hands, finding them more useful then his toes. His hands had thumbs after all.
Airaka plopped down on the couch, bouncing the wyvern so the impact wouldn't surprise him that much. He a gurgling noise, and grabbed towards Airaka hands. As she lifted one tanned hand, he leaned dangerously toward. Airaka swung her other arm around to catch him from falling, but not before he caught her fingers in his mouth. The woman blinked, then gave a laugh, at the baby turned his yellow eyes toward her, with a seemingly questioning expression in his eyes.
Coailiann thought she heard noise coming from the main lobby, and in an idle hope, the Sidhe wished it would be Callix again. She had just seen him the day before and the chances of them returning for another visit so soon were slim to none, but the little girl could certainly hope, right?
Peeking out of her bedroom and down the long hall way, Coailiann noticed red hair. RED HAIR? Callix had red hair!...But the head was much larger. Darn. That must mean....
Thinking a moment at all the guardians she had met, Coailiann smiled. The only red head she remembered was Airaka, the guardian of that cute little dragon thing.
She slipped into her room once more to put on a jean skirt and a frilly white top before skipping out into the main lobby again, her bare feet slapping gently against the uncarpeted portion of floor.
"Hello!" she greeted, giving a small little wave. Company was always good! Especially when her momma was asleep.
Airaka smiled warmly at Coailiann, pushing a strand of her chaotic red hair behind her ear. "Hello." The child on her lap had pulled Airaka's finger's from her mouth, and leaned against Airaka, hands raised toward her shiny earring. When the woman moved out of his hands reach, he growled at her, and turned to Coailiann.
His small fingers flexxed, and he streatched out his wings, waving them aswell. A smile had come to his face, his little body fidgeting with glee. He was happy to see someone other then Airaka and the kids she watched over in the afternoon.
Coailiann bounded over to the couch and flopped herself down, "How're you two today?" she asked politely, tilting her head to look at them with that innocent little smile. Half of her white locks had decided to fall over her face, however, obscuring her vision.
She didn't bother to remove them, though. She could see well enough, and they weren't bothering her quite yet.
"Can I hold 'im?"
Airaka nodded her head, and set the child in Coailiann's lap, making sure the girl was holding him correctly. He fidgeted, finding his right position, then chortled happily. His small fingers were pushed into his mouth, and he leaned against Coailiann, watching her with his big golden eyes.
"As for how we are doing, I'm a bit tired, though other then that I'm fine. And I'm pretty sure he's feeling much better then I am." The wyrmling had been waking her up at random times each night, so her sleep cycle was out of wack. He didn't seem to be feeling much different, though.
Coailiann giggled and stroked her small fingers through the little boy's hair, "I'm tired too but mostly because Kishi's a big bundle of energy now and Daddy says I need to help him."
She nodded at that before looking down at Xtol, making a funny face at him, "How come everyone has wings but me?"
She was supposed to have wings. She saw that in her dream. Why didn't she? A pout touched the child's features and she sighed, "He can fly?"
Airaka listened to the child, guessing that "Daddy" meant Malen, and asked, "So then... Kishi has grown? She's a toddler now?" She folded her hands in her lap, and looked at the television, before back at Coailiann. "Not all children have wings. I'm pretty sure Yashima doesn't have wings." Her blue eyes darted to the boy, and she gave a weary smile. Xtol, flying? Oh how that would be instresting. "He can't even walk yet. It'll be a while till he can fly."
He raised a hand to Coailiann's white hair, fingering it, but not grabbing hold as he did with Airaka's hair.
She was very grateful that the little boy didn't tug on her hair. It was delicate, like silk, and she was pretty sure if he pulled too hard it'd snap. Then she'd be upset.
And an upset sidhe was not something on a good To-Do list.
"No, but he has a tail. I'm plain," she laughed softly and cuddled the little boy, pressing a soft kiss to his forehead. She did love children now that she was older, especially since she was at least bigger than them.
"Kishi's a toddler now," Coailiann confirmed.
Airaka shook her head presistently, "You're not plain. You're everything but plain. Just because you don't have wings or a tail, doesn't mean your plain. " Also, she believed wings and a tail would be difficult to get used to. Xtol had already caused many messes with his wings and his tail. "Hmm... You'll have to congratulate her and Malen for me."
"I think she's going to give daddy a heart attack," she claimed, though really, Kishi was a better baby than she had ever been, according to the journal her mom had showed her.
Coailiann didn't say anything about her being anything but plain. She had a biiig problem with her being so...colorless, but she didn't bring it up very often. In fact, the first time she had voiced it had been with Callix the previous night.
"What's it like being a momma?"
Airaka smiled warmly at Coailiann, chuckling inwardly at the thought of Malen having a heart attack. "Honestly, I don't quite know what's it's like being a mother. It's different." She paused, watching Coailiann, then smiled again. "Good different, though. I find it particularly amazing. Being a mother is much different then being a babysitter. As a babysitter, I watched the child for a couple hours, helped they, and interacted with them. As a mother, I feel as if I must constantly be around Xtol, watching him, protecting him. It's not just a couple hours job." She leaned back in the couch and closed her eyes a moment. "Do you wish to be a mother, Coailiann?" Airaka asked, as she reopened her eyes, "I think you would be a great mother."
She shrugged her shoulders, "Iunno. Maybe someday? They're cute, when they're not yellin' and screamin' and poopin'..." she smiled a little at Airaka as she bounced Xtol just a little bit.
"I watched kids. I think I was a nanny," she blinked, "Before I died. Momma says that's why I'm so good with kids. It's...uh....."
She forgot the word that Ianna used and simply shrugged yet again, "Can't remember what she said, but she said it...." another pause, "Where do babies come from? Do they all come from wands? Cuz Patrick has babies inside him."
Airaka watched Xtol and nodded her head. When they weren't screaming. She gave a quick sigh, unable to catch herself. Her blue eys quickly darted to Coailiann, and her head tilted slightly. "So then.. you know that you've died once." Airaka fidgeted uncomfortably, her voice softer then usual, and looked over Coailiann, before glancing away. She glanced back at Coailiann to answer her questions with a smile on her face, "No. Not all babies come from wands. I didn't even know they came from wands till I recievied Xtol. The babies I knew about were born from pregnant women. Or men, I guess." She couldn't figure out what Ianna had told Coailiann.
She nodded, "Mhmm. My name was Bébhinn."
The little girl raised a brow at Airaka's answer, "Uhuh. There are babies in Patrick's tummy, but how did they GET there? How are babies made? If they don't come from wands...." she trailed off and looked rather contemplatively at Xtol.
She knew he was made because of her sister, just like she was. But...How were Patrick's babies made? Or others?
"Um... well..." It just dawned on Airaka what she was being asked. Her face tinged red, and her fingers fidgeted. She couldn't figure out whether or not she should tell. Coailiann wasn't her child, anyway. She grinned weakly, glancing towards the roof, as if it were going to give an answer. "Coailiann... Babies are created when two people love each other. Like Patrick and his partner. They love each other very much. One person has the egg, and the other person has the ... fish. Patrick has an egg, that is why is pregnant. Most females have eggs, while most males have fish. Inside the egg, a baby starts to grow. " Airaka blushed at her explaination, looking down at Xtol, who looked away from Coiliann, and wiggled his tongue.
Coailiann blinked, "So babies are made by eggs and fish? What are we, omelettes?" she looked incredibly confused at the moment, blinking several more times. Meh. Nonetheless, she'd ask her father later.
And why was Airaka blushing like that? Meh. More confused than she had been, she simply cuddled Xtol more.
"I don't like the thought of being an omelette."
Airaka blinked at Coailiann, startled, "No.. Not omelettes." This was so difficult. She couldn't just have said the stork or something like that, now could she? "Were not omelettes. We are being of substance with a mind, and a soul." She looked nervously over at Coailiann, and grinned rather childishly.
"So we're walking, talking, breathing omelettes," Coailiann concluded, giving Airaka a really weird look, "A Fish omelette. No wonder we stink when we're out in the sun too long...."
She shrugged her shoulders yet again and yawned, poking at Xtol, "I think he fell asleep."
Airaka sighed, and looked to the floor. Omelettes. She wondered what she was going to do when Xtol decided to ask her something like that. Or what if he didn't ask her, and just went ahead and did it? A frantic look came to her face. What if he son became a whore, or something like that?! What if, what if, what if?!
Coailiann's voice brought her out of her imaginings, and she blinked down at Xtol. "Oh yes... Babies need to sleep alot. I believe it's more then 14 hours a day." She took the sleeping baby boy from Coailiann's arms, and smiled at the girl. "Thanks for the chat Coailiann. It was great to see you again. Xtol and I should be getting home, though, so he can sleep in a proper bed. " Airaka got to her feet, her face still flushed, and smiled warmly at Coailiann. "I'd wave bye, but I have a baby in my arms. See you later, Coailiann. " The red head chuckled, and stepped toward the portal. She gave the girl one last large smile, before stepping into it.
Seconds later, she appeared in the wand shop. She sighed again, and quickly exited the door, attempting to calm her mind from frantic future thinkings.

x__ A War at Hand Participants: Airaka, Xtol, Malen and Kishi
Airaka clutched the young brunette wyrmling to her chest, scanning the area for anyone alive, before stepping out into the open of the main lobby. She half wanted to seek out Coailiann, and half didn't. The red-head hoped to explain things more intelligently to the child, but she was also nervous that she might mess up, like she had the last time. The word, "Omelet" still echoed through her mind.
Xtol yawned again, and stretched out his wings, forcing Airaka to switch hands around so she could hold him in her arm, and hold the baby carrier in her other hand. His tail swung back and forth beneath him, as he watched his mother with wide yellow eyes, chewing on the pacifier stuck in his mouth. While it prevented him from making noise, he found it odd, and enjoyable.
The mother-son pair moved toward the television, which seemed to be Airaka's favorite spot when she entered the main lobby, even though she never turned the TV on, and fell into one of the large plush chairs. Xtol sat in his mothers lap, tiny fingers brushing against the comfy furniture; it felt different from the harder chairs at home. His mother smiled warmly, though distractedly, thankful for the quietness, and running her fingers through the child's hair, as she fiddled with her thoughts.
Kishi raced down the hallway her flowerkitten in tow. Her father after making some delicious baking things had retired to his room and refused to come out. Upon spotting Xtol she squealed, the dragon boy was one of her favorite people." Hi Xtol wanna play?" Kishi was well aware that Xtol was smaller than her now and so was his wand but she was tired of her normal wand fighting anyways and was open for other forms of play.
Malen who'd heard the name Xtol through the wall jumped off the bed and marched out of his room and into the living room "Airaka where in the hell do you get off telling a child babies come from Fish and eggs, and that men have fish, I mean gods woman even I could have manged the word p***s if required to while sorting out the mess you made." Malen yelled at the woman completely ignoring the fact that there were two young children in the vicinity. He had few good feelings for the woman to begin with and this had been the last straw.
Xtol also let out a half squeal, until he noticed the pacifier falling from his mouth. Then he wave his arms wildly, until Airaka grabbed the small blue object, and put it back in they baby wyvern's mouth. He held out his hands and toes towards Kishi, wiggling both his finger and his toes.
Airaka smiled warmly at Kishi, "My, you've grown, Ki -" Her compliment was interupted by Malen. She blinked dumbly at him, before he first swore, then her hands flew to Xtol's ears, and a look of fright came to her eyes. Quickly, her fingers turned the boy toward her, Xtol seeming quite peeved by the fact, but she hugged the child tightly the whole time, glaring at Malen.
"Malen. Calm down." She released the fidgeting child in her arms, and set him back down in her lap. Xtol growled at her, and attempted to turn himself back around towards Kishi. When he failed, only moving a bit, tears started down his face. Airaka reached over beisde her, pulling the blanket out from the child carrier, whipping off Xtol's tears with it. That didn;t calm the child though, nope. Xtol started howling, and she sighed, getting to her feet, and rocking the child back and forth. The steady movement lolled the child back to a more calm state, and she set the child inside the carrier so he could sit up.
As Xtol's fingers coiled around the handle, he grinned at Kishi, and Airaka moved toward Malen. She rolled her eyes, and said, "I really wish you wouldn't use curse words around my child. You can raise Kishi your own way, but don't go against how I raise Xtol." She smiled weakly at him, now moving on to the reason he had even entered the room. Her face was, once again, tinged pink at the whole mess of everything. "I didn't believe Coailiann needed to learn about 'where babies come from' at her age. I do admit, I am at fault here. I should have just told her to speak with either you or Ianna. "
Kishi who'd been momentarily frozen by her fathers rage relaxed when she decided she wasn't it's target and made her way over to Xtol. Kneeling she reached out to touch him.
Malen gave a snort and contined to glare at Airaka as though she were someone undeserving of his presence. It was rare for Malen to be in such a mood, rare for him to truly feel anger and usually it was when he was hunting the worst kind of scum but now he simply refused to control his temper. "I do not give a flying rats a** what these children hear at the moment they are young and more interested in each other than what we say. You would do well to remember that headqueaters or not this is my home Airaka and that means we use my rules." Malen seethed trembling with rage but restraining himself from actually cuasing any harm to the cursed woma. "When children ask you a question you awnser them and you awnser it truthfully and to the best of yoru ability otherwise you just confuse them. The first mistake any parent makes is lying to their children because eventually they grow up and become distant from us becuase they feel we can't be trusted. You could have already planted the seeds of distrust in Kay Now that i've had to explain to her that you were wrong. In the future you will not presume to tell my children anythin gthat is not a scientfic fact no matter what they ask you is that understood" He thundered.
Xtol was paused by the yelling, eying the adults, his head tilted slightly. He flinched when he felt someone near him, and turned back to Kishi. His yellow eyes watched her for a few moment, before his tail wiggled out, and he sat it against the palm of her hand.
Airaka's hand flew up to her mouth as Malen swore again, eyes widening then shrinking as she lowered her hands. Both hands were clenched into a fist as she replied, "I know that Xtol is young, but that doesn't mean that he doesn't have ears. He watches everything you say, and learns from it." Though her voice was cold, it didn't become any louder from it's usual quiet state.
"You, obviously, have a different way of raising your children then I do. I understand that. But that doesn't mean that I will change myself to teach exactly as you do Malen. I will not explain to Xtol, when he is the same age as Coailiann, how to properly have sex. If lying keeps him away from making love at six, then so be it.
Though, because you have asked it of me, I will not tell your children anything but facts, or, if I don't feel sutible to answer the question, I'll direct the children toward you."
Kishi grinned and began petting his tail " You're pretty you know , you have nice wings and tail, I wish i could have a tail too." Kishi truly thought that having a tail would be wonderful, she could flock it when annoyed or tap people with it or just pretend to talk to and put a puppet on it. Someday she decided she would have a tail.
Malen shrugged "Then he'll learn to swear, if you dont like it don't come here unless you need Ianna." Malen knew his words were unfair and that he couldn't expect the guardian to keep away when Xtol would probably need to socialise with his own kind ona regular basis as he grew. Still letting Airaka know she was unwelcome would atleast keep her civil.
He laughed harshly at her words" Proper sex talk informs the child that they are not ready to have sex at a young age it also prepares them for any predators they might encounter. Safe means informed woman unless you think you can watch your boy every minute of the day as he grows and you feel him old enough to know of course by then both friends and the internet should have him more informed that you probably are." Malen was vaughly aware that he was becoming cruel but the thought of Coailiann looking up at him so confused and so vulnerable fueled the anger within him
Xtol looked at the girl, with his bright yellow eyes, then tilted himself so he was leaning on her. He flicked his tail around he other side, so she could still reach it if she wanted to, and gurgled softly.
Airaka blinked at his statements, flinched, and reached up to scratched the mark under her left eye. She gave a sigh, and looked over at the two children, before back at Malen. "So, are you telling me, that you have already, or will soon, tell Kishi about sex? What do you judge as a 'young age'? And, yes, if needed, I will watch Xtol every moment of my life, if that is how I must keep him from dangers, such as yourself." She opened and closed her fists, watching for his rebuttle.
Kishi wrapped her arms around Xtol so she could continue to pet him. it war hard became he had wings that got in the way but that was ok. " someday we will fly togeather" she stated calmly. Kishi had made up her mind on this fact, after all what would be more fun that flying with her friend who had an awesome tail.
Malen took a menacing step towards Airaka eyes glinting " How dare you accuse me of being a danger to a child." Malen's voice was was cold and steady. "******** dare you, get out of My house Airaka and do not return until you learn some respect." All of the past arument was now sweapt aside, Airaka had thrown down the worst possible insult she could and Malen was teetering on the edge of snapping.
Xtol felt odd in the hug, and wiggled slightly before relaxing. His tail waved back and forth. He didn't understand what Kishi was saying, though he was pretty sure it meant something good, before Airaka hugged him before he got something good.
"Respect..." Airaka coughed slightly, before continuing with what it was she was going to say. "Respect, Malen, is the only thing I grew up on. If anyone needs to learn it, it's you. "
She was ready to leave, and turned around to do so, though she paused as she saw Xtol and Kishi chugging each other. The red-head coughed again, watching the two uncomfortably, with no idea of what she should do at the moment. She felt no reason to just detach the children from each other, but she was starting to feel nevous standing by Malen.
"Kishi leave the room." Kishi looked over at her father confused by the words and not wanting to leave Xtol but her father's tone brooked no arugment. Kishi placed a kiss Xtol forehead stood up and headed down the hall turning so she could go into the gardens where her sister would be swimming.
Malen took another step towards Airaka "I will give you thirty seconds to leave my house woman before I give you the sound thrashing you deserve for daring to insult me as you have." The malen who stood before Airaka now was not the one who danced about the kitchen ina pink apron, not the one who crawled through rose bushes to please his daughter. This Malen was far more dangerous and more cruel. He had ordered this woman from his house when she had insulted him and she had done nothing he would be generous and warn her a second time, if she refused to leave he would forcibly remove her and he would damn well enjoy it.
Xtol placed his hands on his forehead, then turned to look at the two adults, though Airaka was kneeling down infront of him. He blinked at the kind smile on her face, and attempted to look at thman behind her, when Airaka pulled the carrier up, and he slipped down into the cushion. The wyrmling gave a giggling gurgle, and covered his eyes with the blanket.
Airaka turned to him, and bowed her head quickly, before she moved toward the teleporter. She didn't look back at Malen, more then discusted with his attitude, instead, she stared straight ahead. Her open fist slowly unclenched herself, and she shivered as she stepped through the portal. As she stepped into the Shop, she paused, taking a moment to cough again, then pushed open the door.

Malen has to be the mos disrespectful person I've met in a long time/ He seems to believe that he is always right about everything thing there is. From the day I met him, he was lecturing me on how to raise my child. He has a foul mouth, and enjoys dishonoring my ways of teaching a child.
I will raise my child how I see fit, thanks much!

Xtol woke up, and needed to be fed. He's playing with his plushies on the floor behind me. It's quite adorable to watch him do so. Though, I kind of feel sorry for that hippo plushie, it has more limbs then the rabbit creature, and looks as if he'll tear at any moment.
I'm quite proud of my baby, though, being able to sit up all by himself. Next thing you know, he'll be crawling, and standing, and running. Oh glory, he'll be quite difficult to keep track of then.
He's tail seems to act like an aid, in this stage of life. Xtol uses it to latch to to stuff, and keep his balance. He has become quite an expert in sitting up in his baby carrier, though I'm pretty sure it's unsafe.
It's his wings which seem to be a problem at this stage in his life. They make it extremly uncomfortable for him in the baby carrier. Furthermore, it's quite difficult to hold his, with the wings. Though, they are extremly pretty. He can't fly with them yet, and I kind of hope he doesn't ever. It would frighten me so.
Back on to the Malen topic. I figure I am in the wrong. I was, afterall, the first one to use a harder tone, and I held a grudge, for something rather insignifigant. Furthermore, I did not have the right to lie to Coailiann. I believe, I will need to apologize to him.. Sometime.

Siblings. I have had my own. While I had some of my own… We did not interact very much. My relationship with my brothers and sister was not one I much enjoyed.
Now, I have found a necklace. This necklace emits the same sort of magical aura that Xtol’s wand did in he’s final stage before he became a child, when he was a baby ghost.
I wonder how Xtol will react to another child in the family. He really seems to enjoy attention. He is so very cheerful when the girls swoon over him, and cries for my own attention when they are not here. What will happen when I need to divide my attention between the children?
However, I believe, as a toddler, Xtol’ll be very independent. Even now, he is highly self-supporting. He has been able to teach himself to sit up, crawl, and speak a few words, which actually make sense, with little help from me. Not that I was not willing to help, it is rare for him to accept my help.
